Could Tell A Love.

Elsie sighed out quietly. "Not a clue..." she walked beside him, hearing their footsteps echo against the stone walls.

Cody's ears picked up something and he stopped walking for a bit. He thought he heard something, but it was so small... maybe he was just imagining it.

 

Elsie smiled to herself. "Perhaps... do you want to make some distance from here before we rest?"

Cody shrugged his shoulders and continued walking. What ever it was, it was gone now.

 

"Hello?" Nala called louder. She could here foot steps aganst the stone floor. "Anyone there? I'm kinda lonly here!"

 

Elsie stopped walking and stood beside him. She bobbled her head once. "Yeah... I heard it." She looked around to see where it was coming from.

Cody looked around too. He cupped his hands over his mouth. "Who ever you are, come out so we can see you!"

 

Nala was about to do that, but had doubt. 'Mabye I should think this over.' She thought. 'Nah, i'm over reacting.' The girl stepped out, and waved. "Hi, I'm Nala! I'm friends with the princess." She said hoping that would save her.

Elsie chuckled a little. "It would be nice." She looked at the girl before her. "My name is Elsie... this is my brother, Cody. And this is Grey."

Cody stepped by Grey and Elsie. He smirked and muttered under his breath. "Your boyfriend..."

 

Elsie blushed a little at what her brother said and chuckled a little. She playfully ruffled his hair.

Cody laughed and hunched his shoulders while his sister was messing up his hair. She finally stopped, so he relaxed a little bit. "Hey! It's true!"

 

Cody looked up at Grey with a goofy grin. "No... I was just teasing."

Elsie smiled at her brother and then looked up at Grey. She then turned her attention to Nala. "It was nice meeting you, but we need to get going..."

 

"How bout I come with you!" She moved where her criped leg showed. "oops! You weren't supposed to see that." Nala covered it up.

 

Josh continued to stare coldly at Arriel, wishing he could change everything that had happened in the previous days. How had everything come to this? What had happened to the kingdom he once knew, that now lay around him as a hopeless land? But, none of that really mattered. All of the dead bodies, all of the debree, it disappeared in his mind. The only thing he saw was Arriel, her beauty almost glowing. Josh stepped forward. Arriel's back was turned away from him, so he gently turned her around to face him. They both locked eyes for a moment, then he leaned his head forward. After a few quiet tense moments, his lips met hers. A warmpth filled his entire body, and he felt Arriel's happiness and sadness. With all that had happened in the past, this moment stood above everything else. Josh's hands moved up her waist, then held her cheeks. Finally, he slowly moved his head back, and stared deep into Arriel's eyes. Everything about her, lay deep in those eyes.
"I love you." he quietly whispered into her ear.
The words echoed through his mind as he said them.
I love you...I love you...I love you, Arriel...
