Could Tell A Love.

Elsie laid there on the ground, waiting for death to come. Then she felt an increase of power all of the sudden. Twilight surrounded her wound, healing it like crazy to keep her alive. She groaned just a little, surprised by the out burst of power. Maybe.... she wasn't going to die. Her vision was starting to come clear again, and she became more awake and alert with each second. Her eyes focused and she say Grey laying next to her.

"Grey..." she whispered. She pushed her hand over to him and touched him gently. She closed her eyes and let her power flow from her to him, healing his wounds.

 

Elsie opened her eyes a little to look at him. She smiled weakly. "You're welcome...." she said quietly. Then she remembered something else. "Cody...!" She tried to sit up quickly, but then dizziness overwhelmed her. She fell back on the ground.

 

Elsie let Grey help her up and bring her over to her brother. She fell on her knees beside him and checked his pulse. It was slow, but it was still going. She hovered a hand over his nose. Warm air met the palm of her hand. She sighed out in relief, and gently picked him up. "Thank goodness..."

Cody laid in Elsie's arms, eyes still closed. The lightning attack barely missed his heart.

 

Elsie looked at Grey and smiled. "Should we try to leave the city again?"

 

Elsie nodded her head in agreement and then looked down at her brother. At least he was alive... She slowly looked up at Grey, not sure what to say. She was just glad he was okay.

 

Henry was sitting on the steps in front of the enterance of the castle. His entire body felt weak and useless as he watched the top tower through binoculars.
"JOSH!" he shouted as Xaren fell to the ground.
Quickly, Josh came running towards Henry.
"What? What happened?" he said, narrowing his eyes at the tower.
Henry handed him the binoculars so that he could see what had just happened.
Without a word, Josh looked through them, then handed them back to Henry.
"Well?" he said, hoping for a reaction.
Josh simply smiled and nodded, then walked away.

 

Elsie nodded her head in agreement. This was probably... the second time she almost died? It was the same for Grey too... She shifted Cody in her arms. "What are we going to now?"

 

Arriel left the castle running from the back, where the servents come in. There was one lonely horse, and it wasn't saddled. She looked at it, and ran over to it. She pet it, and jumped on, making it run to the front of the castle. The little tree that was before so beautiful still stood, but very frail and dead. Arriel got down from the horse, but still held it. She pulled it over to the tree, and put her hand to the bark. It felt as if a heart was beating inside the tree, as a pulse. She blew on the tree, her breath pink. She closed her eyes, putting her forehead to the trunk. Her eyes let tears come down, and Arriel sniffled. She then let go, and got on the horse again, whiping her face. She then made the horse trot towards the town.

Elsie slowly followed Grey down the steps. Her brother was surprisingly light. His weight didn't slow her down.

Cody breathed out slowly and evenly in Elsie's arms.

 

Elsie couldn't help but to smile a little. "Sounds like a plan to me..." She said quietly while following him.

 

Josh fell flat on his backside and leaned against the wall.

"So, what are you gonna do now?" Henry asked, looking down at him.

"I-I..." he said, thinking. "I'm actually...not so sure..."

Henry made a small chuckle, then went inside of the castle, leaving Joshua alone.

Josh suddenly had a huge headache. His eyes began to turn red again and two fangs formed. He spotted someone walking past the castle and had an incredible urge to...kill them. Quickly, he clutched his head and slammed himself against the wall, trying to resist. Suddenly, a cold voice could be heard only inside of his head.
C'mon, you know you want to... said Arthur's voice. One bite. That's all it takes.
"NO!" Josh yelled.
He jumped up and began running as fast as he could throughout the city. His craving for blood was getting more intense by the second. Running into a dead end, he fell back to the ground and tried to control himself. This was all so new to him, and he didn't know how to handle it...
