Xaren heard Josh, he looked at him from where he was "A small puppy now?!" he called, he walked over to where he was, anger in his eyes, all bloodshot and veiny. "So, If I'm weak, then what does that make you? A weaker man who can't tell his feelings aloud?!" he beckoned and swung his blade at the area where Joshua was.

 

Xaren solemnly laughed, his dark laugh "Boy...you are foolish, I said it was only us, but your friends are the only thing getting in the way of our fight, so, kill them and they can no longer be in our way." he replied darkly, the smile on his face was even beyond him. "I ask you, for the final and last time, Grey, what does Elsie get from your own selfish acts, and what does the others get from it too?!"

 

Joshua stood up straight, not even flinching.
"Do you believe I'm a coward?" he asked coldly, slowly stroking the sharp blade of his sword. "Well then, what are you? A coward who fears humans too much to allow them to live, that's what. You want nothing to be more powerful than you, so you eliminate the competition. Everything you kill, you fear."
Quickly, Josh jumped high into the air, then landed on the other side of Xaner.
"Well, guess what?" he said, still perfectly holding his sword. "I'm not afraid of you. You don't scare me. No matter how powerful you make yourself seem, it's a lie! You hide behind a mask! You kill out of fear! You're a fake! A pathetic being! You have nothing for this kingdom to fear."
With that, he stepped backwards a few steps before completely falling off the tower. Landing perfectly on his feet, Josh ran towards the city. He had a plan.

 

Xaren laughed at that lightly "He thinks I do it out of fear...I do it out of power..." he said coldly.

 

Xaren sighed and plunged his sword into Grey, without looking, and held him up by it. "Grey...Grey...Grey, always a world in black and white, never color...I bet that's your life now, no color...no hope...no emotions...and yet...how are you so happy? How are you so happy?!" he swung his blade and made Grey go flying next to Elsie. "How can you be so misfortunate that even the strongest warrior has a reason to fight?!" he bellowed, anger in his blood "When will hero's learn, there is no love, no happy ending in the real world, only truth?!"

Bic: Xaren smirked and slashed at each wind blade "That's all you can do, nothing more than be pissed?" he retorted.

 

Everything was getting darker and darker. Elsie willed herself to live longer, so she could see Grey for what it seemed like the last time. She couldn't move, and so, she laid on the floor, waiting.

 

Xaren laughed darkly, but not like a pure laugh, a laugh that he breathed. "Grey...one, last battle." he replied, running at Grey with full force, his sword in his hand, and in one swift moment, his entire body was calm. It felt like an eternity, standing there, not moving.


OOC: This is like the last attack by Xaren, and we know that there's only one outcome...

Xaren smiled, he dropped his blade as well, he soon knelt on the ground. "I...am...supreme..." he soon dropped on the floor, barely breathing, grasping for his hilt.

 

Elsie slowly opened her eyes a little more, trying to hold on for the last few seconds. She moved her hand a little and then stopped and winced. The pain was getting duller, but it was still there. She took in slow and staggered breaths.

Cody was still laying on the stone floor. Weather he was dead or alive, it was unknown.

 

Xaren laughed an grabbed his sword "Grey...is all I'll ever see...Grey is the color of twilight...Grey is what I fear...Grey...is...what I.......die by...." he staggered, and in his final breath. Death swept him. In an instant, his masamune vanished, his body disapated, and every ability he ever had, the abilities he stole, returned to those he took from.
