Could Tell A Love.

OOC: It kind of hard when you start out a little later then the others... XP... oh well.

Elsie stopped to rest and leaned against a stone wall of a building. She hid in the shadows and stayed out of the way of traffic. She caught less attention that way, she discovered. She looked down at her basket. Every little thing was still in there.

 

OOC: I remember quite well how that felt...anywaaay, I'm getting a new guy in:

Bio: A wanderer of many, only to turn towards a town he has never met before, and so, his journey begins a-new. (Short I know, but I'm tired so, neeeehhhh!)
Other: Talented with magic and planning ahead of others, he uses his book with much of powerful spells, he's a low-class mage at best.

IC: As Zin walked into town, he couldn't help but notice the shadow that loomed over it "What a waste that is..." he scoffed, stealing an apple from a vendors cart without the vendor noticing him. Zin walked on, carrying his book until he went up towards the castle, as he did, he saw someone leaning against a stone wall of a building next to it, he needed to ask things anyway, seeing as how this town was never his own home. Zin walked up to the woman leaning against the wall as he bowed in front of her "Dear lady, I am here on a journey...ok, enough of that," he stopped bowing and looked at her "you mind telling me what the heck is going on and why there is a castle here?" Zin asked with pleasantness in his face as he smiled.(OOC: This means you, Friendly_Heartless)

 

OOC: Lol. Oh! Got it!

BIC:

Elsie saw somebody walked past her. He was a suspicious looking character, but it wasn't the first Elsie ever seen. She then saw the guards following him. "Hm?" She raised up an eyebrow. Don't get yourself involved Elsie, her mind told her.

Elsie looked at the man that approached her. "You're new here huh?" She stood up straight. "The castle is to "protect" and keep law in this town." Her voice had a kind tone, but kind of sad at the same time. What keeping law was there around here?

 

Really now? he thought "Well, protecting is one thing, but letting people do what they want to protect is another...why If I were king of this castle I'd...crap, I dunno what I'd do." Zin said as he went to his thinking process of what he would do if he were king, which happened to be sitting on thin air with his right leg crossed over his other, like sitting in a chair, until he fell hard on his butt. "Oww...well, there goes my thinking process, anyway," he got up "Name's Zin, and you are?" he asked holding out his hand to shake.

 

Elsie hid a chuckled behind her hand and then reached out to take Zin's hand. "My name is Elsie. It's nice to meet you." Then she heard somebody yell, and looked over Zin's shoulder. There was a boy facing guards. Her eyes watched in curiosity.

 

Zin looked at what Elsie was looking at, watching some guy fight guards "Seems he needs help...probably...wanna watch? I bet we could use the entertainment right about now...or we could help him, y'know?" Zin said with a smile on his face as he looked at Elsie, grabbing out his spell book. "Take wing and stormy air, take flight with unsunddering skies, I call upon the wind and the air and the rain to form a thunderous clap, I call upon: Thunder!" Zin yelled as bolts of lightning hit the guards that were attacking Grey.

 

Elsie took this as her cue and quickly ran up to the boy. She looked at him urgently. "Follow me, I know a safe route where we can escape." She looked at the other guards and hoped that Zin's spell had a long, lasting effect on them.

 

Zin smirked, he didn't read the text but just as he closed his book, the guards dissappeared along with the bolts of lightning. "I'm Zin. No doubt about you, Grey, you're a thieve, aren't you...well, doesn't surprise me...a powerful mage is in that castle, and don't say how I know...because the caste is protected by his most powerful magic's...he must be a High Mage..." Zin looked at the castle and not Grey as he said this.

 

Elsie decided that they didn't need to run... but there were so many spectators. She turned to look at the two of them. "Somebody might report us for a reward." She knew people were desperate these days. They would do anything to get a decent meal or a warm bed.

 

Zin smirked and looked at them "So what?" he said to Elsie, he walked over to the spectators "Anyone wanna go where they went too?! Who wants to go where they went, hurry hurry! Step right up folks, won't cost ya a dime!" Zin was having his moment, but it didn't last for him as he smiled evilly and walked back over to Grey and Elsie "Either they don't say a word, or I'm gonna use that spell again on them this time...but I know I can't do that, I'm only teasing so we can go to that place you were talking about Elsie, so lets go and wait until this blows over, 'kay?" Zid said looking at her as he put his book away.

OOC: I'm gonna have to go, 'kay guys? So lets see what happens tomorrow.

 

Elsie slowly smiled. She could trust these two... but not just yet. Both of them had a rude, sarcastic side to them, but most people these days were like that. "Well... sorry for overreacting." It was just instinct to her to naturally be worried about things like that. She ignored Grey's remark.

OOC: Same here... I have to go soon. And I won't be posting that much tomorrow... hopefully I'll get on... XP

IC: Zin sighed and held out his hand, a good thing from him that he had, he healed Grey's hand with Cure "You can thank me later." he said as he looked at the sky, waiting for what might come next.
