Elsie was making sure her arms did not slip to choke Grey. She closed her eyes a little and continued to hold on. Then she slowly opened them again and looked to the side. This wasn't... too bad.

 

Zin kept walking, not thinking as he slashed at the people who crossed his path, mostly guards, he was soon only a few feet from the top. "The end is near, Grey." he said darkly as he smiled widely.

 

Elsie quickly slipped off of him once they were in the tower. She felt slightly wobbly but nothing else. "It's alright," she said, smiling at him. She looked around the tower. She couldn't help but to feel like something wasn't right.

 

Zin opened the door to the top, he walked inside and stood there as guards came at him, he again slashed at them with one swoop of ease, he wasn't surprised and felt no remorse for them. "The end is even nearer, Grey." he smiled, as he went to sit on a chair, the sword's tip on the ground. He saw they made it within two second after he sat down "Hello, Grey, Elsie." he said, looking at them with a dark stare.

 

Elsie didn't care, she always got into trouble herself before she met Grey. She took a step back from Zin, standing behind Grey now. "Well... it is an adventure," she whispered back to Grey.

She giggled and stood up, holding out her hand to help him up.

Zin started laughing as he began to stand up, his laugh was colder and chilling to the bone, even to him. "Lets see, how about this," he pointed the tip of Kin's blade at Grey "Lets see how well you remember to fight, against a shadow." he said darkly.

Yang looked up at her, he took her hand, pulled himself up by it too.

When he stood she kissed him on the cheeck. "So what now?"

 

Elsie took this as her cue and backed away from Grey. She slowly pulled her staff from behind her and held in a defense position. There was no way she could get out of the tower. She had to wait for a minute or two.

 

Zin was behind Elsie in the blink of an eye, even if Grey had kept his eye on him, he had Elsie in the choke hold with Kin's blade "Do you honestly think, this will end without you, the hero, or the thieve, without sacrifice?" he asked, Kin's blade already touching Elsie's skin with its icy touch.

Yang looked at her "Wherever you feel is best." he replied with a smile.

 

"But I'm still new...ish to here. Only been here for a few days..."

Powers: The ability to control snow, ice, and water.
Bio: Arthur was once great friends with Joshua. Although he was the prince of the kingdom Josh lived in, he was fine with hanging out with people in a lower class than him. They were always very competitive with each each other and constantly got in fights. But, in the end, they were always friends. However, now that Arthur has found Josh's whereabouts, he is coming for a visit. Many things have changed since they were kids...

Josh entered a small room in the castle. It had cardboard boxes laying around everywhere along with broken furniture. Some pictures with shattered frames lay on the empty dirty shelf.
"Wow," he said, looking around. "What a dump..."

Arthur Diamond, a wealthy prince of a kingdom miles away, came riding on a large white horse down the streets of the sad kingdom. Everyone could hear the hooves of his horse clattering against the ground. They turned their heads to see Arthur sitting upon the back of the horse, his white-as-snow hair blowing backwards in the breeze. The horse came to an abrupt stop next to a street lamp. Arthur hopped off with ease and stared up at the starry sky. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. When he opened them, several people were crowded around him, knowing of him being a prince.
"It's Prince Arthur!" one of the children shouted, pointing at Arthur.
Arthur smiled, showing his perfectly straight and white teeth, then ruffled the boy's hair with the palm of his hand.
"Thank you," he said to the group surrounding him. "It's great to be here. Would any of you know of a boy named Joshua? He's about my height with dark blond hair."
"Joshua?" one of the people said. "As in, Joshua Silverton? Why on earth would you want to see him? If anything, he must be getting arrsted!"
Arthur laughed at the comment, then walked closer to the person who said it. It was a girl, about the age of 15.
"Yes." he said, smiling again. "Would you happen to know where he is?"
The girl blushed and giggled when Josh smiled, then responded.
"The last I saw him, he was walking into the castle." she said. "To steal something, probably."
Arthur thanked her, then rushed off into the castle.

Joshua was closely examining a slanted wooden shelf, when a voice came from behind.
"Well if it isn't little Josh..." the voice said.
Quickly, Joshua spun around to see his old friend, Arthur Diamond, leaning against the frame of the door.
"A-Arthur?" Josh said, rubbing his eyes. "Is that you?"
"Yup." Arthur said, walking closer and reaching out a hand. "Long time no see, huh?"
In joy, Josh shook the hand. They both talked for a while, reciting some of the stuff they used to say. The boys walked as they talked and were soon outside of the castle.
"So, any luck with the ladies?" Arthur said, punching Josh in the shoulder.
"Well..." Joshua said, rubbing his shoulder. "Not quite. But, I did make a new friend. She's a princess. A-"
"A princess?!" Arthur laughed, interrupting Josh. "You? The boy who used to jump in mud for fun and sleep in the forest? You are 'friends' with a princess?!"
For a little while, Arthur laughed, whispering "princess" between each chuckle.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, laugh all you want." Josh said, rolling his eyes.
"I'm sorry, man." Arthur said, regaining his usual calmness. "It's just too funny. So, when do I get to meet her?"
"Um...tomorrow would be best. I gotta get some sleep. Hey, you wanna crash at my place for tonight?"
"Sure."
So, a little while later, both boys were in Josh's apartment, asleep.

Elsie gasped when she was suddenly behind the sword. She still held her staff, but she didn't know how it was going to be useful now. She tried to move her head a little away from the blade. Why did she always had to end up in these situation.
