~: Camping Trip :~

"Pleased to meet you as well." He said, putting a hand on her shoulder to steady her. His hand became oddly warm and the warmth quickly surrounded Aly, drying her clothes in a matter of seconds. Most would say they felt like they came right out of a dryer. "Now, lets get back to camp before dark. Sorry we couldn't find a lake, Rhone."

 

Aly's eyes widened, but she didn't shriek or faint. "Thank you." she murmured, managing to keep her face normal. "Lake?" she smiled slightly. "It's about a thirty minute walk west of the camp. I can show you, I go there almost every day." she had to repay their kindness somehow. If it was showing them the lake, then she would.

 

Ken smile disappeard when he came down with tyler they both made an mess. The dust made him starting to caugh as he looked around. Ken was dissappointed the cabin they got was junk "grand" he sarcasticly crossing his arm. Then he looked at Tyler "are you alright" he asked his friend.

 

Coughing up dust, Tyler was unable to reply. It was so filthy in here, not only that but it fell to pieces at a touch. Definatly. Not. Fun.

 

Mizore stopped unpacking the things in her cabin when she heard as crash nearby another. She walked out the door and looked to Tyler and Ken. "You guys- wow....you got a jank cabin!"

 

Ken saw Mizore gave her an friendly wave with an smile then he started to get the dust off of his cloths. "yep like i said before the paper said its perfect when its not" he said to her smilling. Ken looked at Tyler "this cabin has potential it just needs to be fixed up and defiatly cleaned" he said to them laughing happily.

 

Mizore frowned at Ken."No, you shouldn't have to work on that thing...My cabin doesn't look like that...try using another one. I don't see any adults here and I'm sure they wouldn't mind."

 

"Uuuh!" Tyler growned. He was still coated in dust and mold. The feel of all the particales made his skin crawl. He was almost at the point clawing off everything just to feel better.

"Why don't we just crash with you? It looks big enough for all of us."

 

Rhone held in his surprise as Aly's clothes dried and replied, smiling, "Alright, we'll check out the lake tomorrow then," Turning around and facing the path, he continued, "Well, let's head back now. We don't want to miss anything."

 

"Crash with...me?" Mizore thought about it and glanced inside her cabin again. There were actually two bunk beds inside it. She looked back at them. "....Okay...but you need to get that mold off of you. And I'm taking the top bunk on one of the beds."

 

The word "deal" flew out of his mouth before Mizore even had the chance to take it back. Faster then scared deer, he shook himself, for the most part, clean and made a mad bolt for the door. He jumped into the air and almost flew towards his bed under hers. With his arms spread wide, he seemed like a featherless bird than a boy. Gravity decided that the boy had his fun, and altered his altidude to make him land hard and the rusted springs of his new found bed.

 

Aria continued walking until they reached the shore of the lake. She stretched out, yawning slightly and letting go of his hand with a smile. She walked to the water, and picked up a pebble, stepping back after and grinning.


"Let's see if I remember." She murmered, staring into the water.

 

Aria shot him a playful glare, putting her hands onto her hips.

"Don't use your powers to help me!" She shouted before going back near the shore and smiling, trying to get her angle right. She pulled her wrist back and tried to remember what Alaric had said before. She thought. "Um."

Finally, she flicked her wrist and watched with excitement as...The pebble plopped down into the water.

She frowned.

 

"What are you worried about missing?" Aly asked, her voice quiet, but her eyes remotely curious. "And do you know where you two are bunking?" She usually didn't sleep indoors, her usual hang out, the lake, was an excellent place to sleep, most times, with just a blanket. She didn't care what the managers of the camp thought, she wouldn't sleep when someone else could hit her and surprise her.

 

Rhone could barely hear Aly's words and scooted closer to make them out, his arm just inches from hers. He tried not to notice their close proximity; he never was good around girls. "I don't know," He replied, looking straight ahead, "It's summer camp. It's supposed to be fun, I don't want to miss a thing." Looking at her and then raising his head to look at Jasped, he answered her other question, "We're sharing a cabin. Jasped is sleeping on the bottom bunk of one bed and I'm on the top of another." He didn't really see a reason to go into too much detail, but he did nonetheless. "What about you?"

 

Aly was confused. "This place is supposed to be fun?" she asked, still keeping her voice low. Men hated it when you raised your voice, it just made them hit that much harder. She knew he was close to her, but she had enough space to dogde if he tried hitting her. Then she could run. "Oh...I'm sleeping by the lake." she murmured, looking away. Hopefully he wouldn't freak out. It didn't seem to be a normal occurance.

 

Mizore watched, flabbergasted by his speed, and left the door open for Ken. "Don't take too long bringing your stuff in, I don't want bugs flying in here." She walked in the cabin and placed her bags in one corner of the room. She looked at Tyler and made sure Ken could hear the next thing she had to say. "And please, NO ONE touch my stuff unless I say you can, got it?" Mizore picked up the unopened cream soda can she left on the floor.

 

Rhone raised an eyebrow at both of her responses. "It should be fun...swimming, archery, new friends, you know? All those camp activities. That's why I'm here." Putting one hand in his pocket and casually brushing his hair with the other, he continued, "What do you mean, by the lake? I didn't think they were any cabins down there."

 

Aly shook her head, puzzled. "I don't understand..." she murmured, more to herself. Smiling slightly, she looked up at him, still more puzzled by why he wasn't hitting her by now. "There aren't any. I sleep out in the open." She closed her eyes, certain it was coming by now.
