~: Camping Trip :~

Aria instantly frowned, regretting bringing it up. She remembered his brother so vividly. She shook her head and squeezed his hand lightly, looking at the pebble and sighing slightly.

"I'm..." She paused, not knowing what to say exactly.

"I'm sorry, Alaric..." She murmured after, brushing some hair out of her face and nodding. "Let's hurry."

She pulled him along, walking a bit quicker now.

 

Looking up the walls of the embankment, and slowly treading water to keep the current from taking her again, she called herself 23 kinds of stupid. There was no way she would or could get up those, unless she wanted to lose her fingernails. She winced, then swam crosswise on the current, till she reached one.

Tenatively, Aly put out a hand, feeling the rock under it, then gripped harder, the current pulling at her body. She grimaced, then grabbed another rock, and hoisted herself up. As soon as her feet were out of the water, she held used her now bloody hands to pull herself above the embankment, and collapsed on the ground, her hands pulled to her chest.

 

Rek led Rhone through the forest until they reached the ravine. "Hmm... Steep banks..More like cliffs really." He said as he scanned the waters. "Wha?! Is that a girl?!" He asked as he saw what he thought to be a person laying next to the river. Rek ran over and shook her gently. "You alive?"

 

Rhone followed Jasped to the girl and realized she was soaking wet. Looking over the edge, he figured she must have been swimming. He looked into the distance and saw the camp, she must have swam all the way down here...or drifted. Rhone looked down at her and remembering the conversation the other kids were having earlier, let his paranoia take control. Either she was trying to escape...or she was thrown into the water... he thought briefly before shaking his head and thinking logically again. She probably just swam too far... He knelt down beside her while Jasped tried to wake her. "Is she alright?" he asked.

 

Aly looked up, blinking. "Am I dead? Or are you coming to make me dead?" she murmured, finding that was all she could do. She felt warm...either she was dead, or hypothermic. Whatever the case, she decided to sit up. If her muscles would have listened to her.

 

Ken gave him an smile and started walking to him and grabed his arm. "alright time to head back" he said to Tyler. He lead the man back to their camp as he whistled happily "sorry if i made you get scared" he apologized.

 

"M-make you dead?" Rhone was surprised at that statment. He looked her up and down as he put a hand on her shoulder to help her sit up. "No, you're alive. We found you laying here. Are you alright? How'd you get here? What were you doing?" He showered her with questions, and realized he had not given her any time to answer before asking more questions. "I-I mean, are you alright? Should we get you help?"

Mizore ran back into the direction of the cabins with her soda cans still in her hand and stopped at one of the cabins that had her bags in front it. "Now one moved it out the way, so I guess I can stay here." Mizore opened the cabin door and brought her bags inside of it.

 

Tyler shook his head softly, smiling a bit.
"Don't worry about it. Just get me out of here. I really really don't like being out here."
He figited with his hands, bending them completely backwards. It was a way he coped with stress.

 

They arrived at the cabins there was an paper on it "lets see what this is" Ken said as he plucked the not off of the door. He read it paying attention to the details after he got done reading an smile appeard on his face. "Hey Ty the paper was the cabin arrangement for this cabin it has who is at this one guess who" Ken asked the man with an smile with the paper behind his back.

 

Tyler perked up. His face seemed to light up and beam like a child at christmas time.

"Abbot and Costello?"

 

Ken shook his head with an smile looking at his friend. "one name starts with an K and the other starts with an T" he said giving Tyler an hint. Ken waitend wondering if the man would guys the right names this time around.

 

"I give up." Tyler said with a shrug.

"Just tell me, I was never good with guessing games. You might as well just tell me."

 

Ken smiled then threw the paper to the side. with the same smile he put his elbow on the man should used that as support as he leaned on the man shoulder. "Its me and this is our cabin" Ken said to Tyler happily.

 

Aly smiled slightly at the whirl of questions, and decided to answer them. The poor guy looked a little scared to find her as she was. "I'm fine, just a little chilled. I fell asleep when I was floating downstream," she pointed down the river a ways, "because I got lost. I was running." she left out exactly what from. "I don't need help, I'll be alright." she said quieter, then smiled reassuringly. "Nothing's broken." Slowly bracing herself, she managed to get into a crouching position, but the world shivered, and she stayed there, hiding her weakness.

 

Noticing she was smiling, Rhone smiled back, but it quickly disappeared as the worried expression returned to his face. "I think we should still get you back to camp," Rhone said, taking his hand off her shoulder, "We need to at least get you some dry clothes, you know?" Standing up, he looked at Jasped, craning his neck to do so, and remembered to introduce himself, "I'm Rhone by the way. This is Jasped."

 

Giving under the weight, Tyler slid under Ken's elbow and bashed through the door. The place was a rotting dump, so splinters and mold flew through the air as the hearty piece of plywood fell off it's rusty hinges. Coughing, Tyler tried to have a look around to assess his new home for any trace of fun. However, he couldn't see a thing from all the dust he kicked up.

 

Aly stood up, a little wobbly, but steady. She smiled, and shook her head. "I'm fine, really." She didn't want to add that she had no spare clothes, because her mother hadn't dared to go to her house. She was going to have to steal some, later. Sighing at this thought, she tilted her head so her hair fell over one shoulder, then smiled. "I'm Aly. Pleasure to meet both of you, Rhone, Jasped."
