~: Camping Trip :~

Awakened from the force on his chest, Tyler awoke and started choking up the slime filled water. He contiued his inverted geyser on his face backarched into the sky.

 

Looking around, Danael spotted someone over by the lake. It seemed like something was wrong... like he could sense it or something. Regardless of what kind of common sense told him not to, the sense that someone really did need help drove him to run in that direction. As he reached the shore, he could see more clearly a girl trying to help a boy laying on his back on the beach.

"Hey!" he called, rushing over, "What happened?"

 

Aly looked up, her eyes wide. Another guy. That had been what, three already? She lowered her head, petting the cat and turnign Tyler on his side. "He drowned." She whispered. "He was dead, but he's okay now." Why was he shouting? Was that normal? She looked up again, dark eyes wide. "I'm sorry if I've upset you." Realizing he might look at her bruises, she quickly grabbed her shirt and tugged it on.

 

Aria crept forward, the mud pooling around her hands. She was covered in it for head to toe. Her breathing was coming out in shallow gasps as she became weaker, purely feeling the after-effect of her gift. Her arms trembled as she pushed forward on her hands and knees, the muck up to her thighs now as she crawled. Her vision continued to fade in and out and she began to tilt slightly to her right, her breathing slowing. N-no...No! She thought desperately, falling onto her side and leaning her head back.

Her lungs burned, eyes squeezed shut as she laid there. The mud and water swirled around her, carrying her with it's sudden current. She fought her hardest to keep her head above water, but she was getting tired. Taking a deep breath of the warm air, Aria closed her eyes. She wasn't sure where she was being pulled, but she figured there wasn't much she could do about it. She immersed her head under the water just barely, trying to rest as much as she could before taking another breath.

Suddenly, she dropped. Keeping her breath held, Aria groaned and opened her eyes. She was under water now. The blur kept her from seeing much. She shivered, the cold of the water getting to her before she bit her lip and tried her hardest to get to the surface, succeeding and wiping her eyes as she coughed.

 

"Um..." Danael started, scratching the back of his head before crouching next to the girl. "I think we should get him to an Infirmary or something. He looks pretty bad."

"Anyway," he continued, "I'm not mad... just worried. Do you think you could help me get him back to camp?"

 

Aly gently stood up, chewing her lip. "I think so....but I have to leave before we go inside, okay?" Forbidden to tell, forbidden. She gestured helplessly. "It was just a swim." she murmured, rubbing her eyes again. "Can you pick him up? or..." she waited for him to tell her what do to.

 

Rhone was busy digging through the wreckage. Moving some wood aside, he found his clothes: some wer eripped and dirty, but the majority were alright, just completely wrinkled. Moving a big piece of wood, he found his bag. Everything was safe, just dirty...except the pillows he had used as a decoy; they were torn. "Damn it..." he muttered, grabbing his arm. He winced as he did, the pain increasing.

 

Aly rubbed her head, keeping her eyes on the ground. So much.....maybe she should have drowned. "I got stuck underwater. Tyler tried to save me, but he got stuck, and died. Then he came back, and I have to help...erm..him," she gestured towards Danael, realizing she didnt' know his name "get Tyler to the infirmery."

 

Upon hearing his voice, Aria's eyes opened instantly. She look around, treading water until seeing him. She opened her mouth to say something before wincing, another jolt of pain pulsing through her small body. She squeezed her eyes closed, ignoring the tears that were building up. He wouldn't be able to notice anyways. Oh, how she wished she would call out his name and tell him how happy she was to see him. Shaking her head, she began to swim in his direction before noticing something. Alaric was surrounded by the same orange glow she had been trying to get to.

As soon as she realized it, the glow was gone and only Alaric's form was left. She furrowed her eyebrows, her lips forming a small frown as she worked her way closer to him, fighting the strengthening current. Her eyes were burning, wanting to close so badly. As soon as she was in arms length, Aria used the remainder of her strength to grab his hand, pulling herself to him and resting her head on his chest.

Weakly, she managed to murmur his name above the roar of water.

 

Aria gasped. Her eyes shot open and slowly one-by-one her senses returned. First, her sight became clear. Then, the smell of fresh pine filled her nostrils. Quickly following, the bitter taste of blood graced her mouth as well as the sound of wind and Alaric's heartbeat. She gazed up at the sky, panting. Alaric... She was laying beside him, the right side of her face presses up against his chest. She groaned, sitting up and rubbing her head. I must've hit it when I fell into the deeper water... And then, suddenly her sense of touch came back, the pain making her collapse back on the ground beside Alaric.

Her entire body surged with pain, her eyes closing as she tried to take it all in. It was all because she didn't know how to control her power; A power that could kill it's wielder if used incorrectly. She bite her lip, trying to stay away, her mouth tasting like blood. Where was she bleeding from? Her body began to feel heavy, her breathing slowing.

No, please... She tried to open her eyes but they felt too heavy. She tried to hold on, but she couldn't keep the darkness from engufing her. Before she knew it, everything went black.

 

A soft drizzling of rain was falling over some clearing in the forest. Near the central part of it, a small circle of grass and flowers had been crystallized over in ice with a small overhead cover in the middle of it with the ice arched up around it so no rain water dripped in. Beneath it was Mizore, passed out from the pain she had gotten previously and the work she had forced herself to endure.

Her eyes slowly slid open and she just laid there, unaware of where she was or what her surroundings were. All she knew was that it was raining, but she wasn’t feeling cold at all. In fact, she felt rather comfortable.

Mizore slowly sat up and looked up at the icy cover above her. She didn’t understand what was going on, but she was slightly fascinated by it. She realized that she should have been freezing, yet the ice actually felt fine to her. Being a little perplexed by this, Mizore just continued examining her odd shelter. When did she do this? Maybe a day or two ago...She passed out that long?? And then it all finally came back to her. She had-...WAS looking for Ken the passed few days, hoping to at least find his body. The guy saved her life from this horrific creature...and then all of a sudden he disappeared the next day. Did another creature get him when she was passed out afterwards that day?

She shakily got to her knees and crawled to the edge of the covering. She reached out her hand into the rain and slowly drew it back in, watching the water droplets turn into ice crystals on her hands. Mizore's ocean blue eyes stared down at the ice droplets in her hands as she sighed to herself. It was time to give up and go back to the campgrounds.

OOC: wow im so sorry for not responding on here guys

Ken been carried off by another creature but before he blacked out he rememberd fighting for his life. He slowly oppend up his eyes wondering how long it been since he got sepperated from Mizore. "what happend" Ken asked himself as he sat up and rubbed his forehead thinking. When Ken turned his head he saw an dead tore up corpse of the same monster from his few moments before he blacked out. He stood up it was still dark but he was at an different location in truth he was lost.

 

OOC: I'mma follow you (in waking up somewhere else) guys because I dun know where Legion or N is.

BIC: Aly jerked away from something, her eyes opening with a jolt. "What the.." she swore quietly, then leaned against a tree, truing to remember. Last thing she did, she was with the guys, making sure that Tyler was okay. Was he okay? She rubbed her temples, swearing again, this time more explosively. Something hissed behind her, and she whirled, just in time to get pinned against a tree. Her head knocked against the tree, and she tasted coppery blood in her mouth. Oh God....
