~: Camping Trip :~

Aly looked up. "'She is doing better.'" she replied with a small smile, pulling herself to get on the bed. Shaking her head at Rhone, she pulled Tyler up beside her. He wasn't going to sit on the floor if she wasn't. She cringed at touching him, but did it anyway. If he hurt her, she wouldn't do it again.

 

"Well from now on i'd advice everyone to stay as far away from the forest as you can be. those demon things aren't good for anyone. Do any of you have an special skills like me?" he asked them.

 

Aly looked down at that. Was that what this place was for? She didn't belong again.."No, I don't." she murmured, looking down at her small hands. The palms stared upu at her, a map of scars and thoughts. She clenched them, then waited to hear the others answers.

 

Dreamily, Tyler felt himself being brought up to the bed by Aly. It was such a strange feeling, being cared for like this. Not knowing the reason why, he wrapped his arms around her shoulders, giving her a hug. It was much like the one he gave Mizore, but it was softer, so he didn't think he'd be thrown around for it.

"I'm not sure what you're talking about." He said, looking up at the strange child with the sword.

"I can do things, but can't anyone?"

 

Rhone shrugged when Kyle came in. Is everyone just converging into this cabin? He thought as he stared into the ceiling. "I can turn invisible," he replied, "but it's hard controlling it." As he said it, he kicked off his shoes and heard them thud as they hit the floor.

 

Aly flinched, then hugged him back. These guys were so strange. "That explains it." she smiled a little at Rhone, Tyler's arm still wrapped around her. She certainly wasn't going to remove it. "You were quiet." Her headache came back and she rubbed her temples, cursing in her head. She didn't have a gift, she didn't belong. Again.

 

Ken smiled when she agreed then he started to walk not noticing Mizore halted. When he looked back he saw her standing he raised an eye brow and studied her. "whats wrong" Ken asked her with an bit of concern in his voice as he heard the same sound but he was not gona say anything about it.

 

He looked at tyler for a second "hmmm....what special ability do you really have now. From what i figure we are all here because of what we can do and you are the only one out of us who doesn't want to divulge" he smiled as he leaned against the wall of the cabin."Rhone thats one very cool ability you have. you should really make controlling it a top priority" he sais casually.

 

"uuuh..." Tyler didn't know how to respond.

he could do things, cool things. They weren't things he'd call powers though. He never did anything special like that. At least that's what his parents always said.

 

Aly looked back at him, her grey eyes curious. He seemed hesitant. She knew she wasn't special, but that was her...suddenly she stood up, wobbling a little. "I have to go outside for a moment, be right back. You boys discuss war tactics." Outside there was a small cat. She smiled as she bent down to pet it, whispering to it gently.

 

Rhone was only half listening to what they were saying. He couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. And he did NOT like being watched. Even in his hometown he would try to stay invisible until he reached where he was going. Of course, that didn't always work. "I doubt that," he said, jeering at Kyle. "Aly just said she can't do anything. I don't think it's some big conspiracy." But am I wrong? He thought, staring at the ceiling, still. He was scared if he looked around, he would see a pair of eyes that didn't belong there, focused on him.

 

"It's...nothing. You'll have to excuse me, I guess I was it could've been a deer or something." Mizore laughed slightly nervously as she continued back to walking and followed in his direction.

 

"its alright dont worry" Ken said to her as he waited for Mizore to catch up. When the girl got by his side Ken started to walk again they getting deeper into the forest. Ken listend to his surroundings he could hear it but his curiosity kept him from running away. After an while they arrived at an field filled with lighting bugs Ken stopped so he could stare at all the lights. "lets see i think we should be getting close to the lake now" He said giving Mizore an smile.

 

Mizore slowly nodded before looking out into the field and seeing all the lightning bugs. She really wanted that bug spray from Ken but she didn't mind getting touched by those type of bugs. They didn't bite....at least she didn't think they did. "You know...I shouda brought a jar."

 

Aria blushed, unexpectedly being pulled close to him. She smiled slightly, lifting her head to stare into his eyes.

"Hey..." She murmured, wrapping her arms lightly around him and squeezing him a bit in a snug hug.

 

Aria remembered the way she had looked when she had awakened and looked down again, blushing a bit and thinking quietly to herself. She hoped she hadn't looked too bad, her head lifting so that she could look into Alaric's eyes. She smiled.

"I slept well...How about you? And you should get your rest, not watch me..." She murmured, wondering if he had the same sleeping problem as before as she gazed up into his eyes.

 

Kyle looked at rhone for a second with a sarcastic look on his face. "Honestly, rhone. The second i came out of the research hospital just after getting my powers i was given a letter for this place. I took 6 months before i actually excepted just to learn to use my power. Phone you have the power of invisibility. Aly has a mind power we don't understand and Tyler has a power he's just not certain he could consider it that important" he said as he drove his blade into the floor and leaned against it.

 

Aly poked her head back in from petting the cat. "Aly has no ability." she murmured, sticking her head back out and petting the cat again. She had all sorts of news for Aly, purring about a couple that might have kittens a few cabins down. Aly wrinkled her nose, telling her she didn't need those details. She giggled as the cat sternly lectured her.
