~: Camping Trip :~

The boy sat on the bed beside Aly, looking up at the other kids.

"Hey, hows it goin?" He smiled. He didn't know these people, but he thought he might as well have a grin on his face.

 

Ken already started to head to the words before Mizore spoke he looked back giving her an smile. "yeah i do dont worry" he said to her as he waited for Mizore to catch up. After an few moments of waiting he looked at the forest wondering what was in there. Ken always had an funny feeling when he got near the forest he was about to learn what made it but Tyler decided to head back that one night now hopefully he would find out this time.

 

We? Rhone couldn't help but focus on that word. Why was Kyle including himself? What did he have to do with any of them? But he shrugged it off and gave Tyler a glance. That kid seemed too friendly, but in an innocent kind of way. He then looked at Aly, scooting as close as possible and looked at her eyes, trying not to blush. He could see what Kyle meant. Aly was probably tripping off her medicine. It would be a good idea to let her relax, especially before eating, but he didn't think she should be left alone, considering the way the pills seemed to affect her. "What do you think, Aly?" He asked with a low voice. "You should be included in decisions about you...should we leave you here alone to rest?"

 

She wavered, her eyes widening slightly. "Take these." she whispered, shoving her pill box in his hand. "No matter what I say, don't let you or Tyler give them to me. No matter what." she had suspicions, but they would rest, for now. "I'll be fine. I just need a little sleep.." she hugged him gently. "Thank you for the food."

 

Holding the box tightly, Rhone smiled and replied jokingly, "I'll guard these with my life. As long as I live, no pill shall touch your lips." His smile then disappeared and his face was serious again. His free hand went towards hers, but he hesistated for a second and then grabbed her hand. "If you need something, just call. I'll stay close to the cabin, alright?"

 

She nodded, her eyes already half closed. "You guys are good people." she murmured, her eyes closing the rest of the way. "Wish I had lives like yours." She barely felt anything anymore, the weariness struck her everywhere. "Go to the lake and have fun....." her head hit the pillow.

 

Kyle heard a gigantic roar at the edge of the forest and he smiled. He jumped back to fire his motorcycle into the air."Look after her while i take care of business he said as a demon moved out of the forest to reveal itself. it looked like a giant mutated dog that had been cross bred with a dragon and a tiger.The motorcycle blade fell into his hand and had transformed in mid air. With one thrust he was jetted right into the beasts face with both feet up.

 

"Okay..." Mizore stood there blanky for a few moments without realizing Ken was all ready heading to the woods. "Oh, sorry. I had a slow moment." She jogged until she was next to him before walking again.

 

Ken wanted to say something about the slow moment but he decided to avoid trouble. He enterd the forest it was cool providing shade from the sun but there was an feeling of terrior. "it feels so good in here with all the shade" Ken said to Mizore smilling as they continued walking.

 

Mizore slowly nodded in agreement. "Yeah...it does." She still followed beside him while glancing around at what she saw and listening to what she heard. Some of them were birds flying, crickets chirping, and a few more things.....but what was that other noise? Mizore halted to try to catch the sound of it.

 

Rhone winced at the noise, but didn't take her eyes off Aly as she laid down. He stood up and nodded towards Kyle. "Alright," he said, but not soon enough. Kyle was out the door already. "Let's go, guys," he said to Jasped and Tyler, walking out. "Let he rest," he said, shoving the box ino his pocket. He didn't plan on going to the lake. Not until Aly could go with them.

 

Aria's eyes fluttered open, the loss of Alaric's warmth waking her. She made a few sounds as she sleepily rolled over from her stomach onto her back, making sure the covers were tightly around her before she sat up and rubbed her bright eyes. She spotted Alaric and her face instantly went red, her gaze averting.

"Wh-where are you going?" She wondered aloud, closing her tired eyes as she spoke to him.

 

He inclined his head as he hit the beast full in the face with both legs.
He jumped off of the beasts face and then jolted the blade straight at the beast but it standed on it's hind legs and stepped on the blade. He jumped back and left the blade. the beast spoke "Is that the best you've got" he asked in a hoarse voice.
"You can talk too!!!" he said exasperated.
"You can't defeat me child, i'm roar power!!" he roared a fierce lion roar.

 

Aria nodded slowly at him, laying back down in bed and pulling the covers over her tightly again. She rolled onto her side and pressed her face into the pillows, smiling a little to herself as she thought about the previous night, her face heating up. She loved the effect Alaric had on her. Giggling in a moment of sheer girlyness, Aria rolled over onto her back and gazed up at the ceiling.

 

Her head spun round and round, swirling into inky blackness. She tried opening her eyes, but they wouldn't, so she just went with it. Sighing, she turned, to see her mom and dad. Of course. She backed away, but they kept following her. Why did she always have nightmares?

 

Sitting on her bedside, tyler looked down at the girl, worry in his eyes. This was all too unreal. This girl, the boy with the sword, the noises, demons? He didn't want to believe it, but this place was all he feared, not even fun.

"What have I been drafted into?"

 

Feeling something touch her, Aly opened her eyes. The world had stoppped spinning, but it was still blurry. She groaned and sat up, smacking her head against someone else's. Cursing in words she had learned from her father, she rubbed her head, trying to clear her vision of stars.

 

Tyler fell backwards, a bump forming on his head. He didn't know what hit him. It had to have been something hard and fast. Were those stars he was seeing?
