~: Camping Trip :~

Aria shivers, closing her eyes and not letting go of Alaric's hand for a minute as they entered the cold forest. She looked around, feeling tense and nervous. She looked towards Alaric, whispering a bit.

"It feels...darker." She murmured.

 

Tyler flew through the exit, almost ripping the door off of it's ancient hinges. He kept running and running, drowning out Mizore's words. After a bit, he stopped and began to cough up something nasty onto the course dirt, back arched. He straightened himself and wiped his mouth. Why was he so scared like he was back in the forest.

The answer had to wait. To his right he saw a cabin, echoing with screams. Not waiting to think how stupid it was, he ran up to the building and banged on the door.

"Hello, hello what is going on in there?"

 

Jasped walked around a corner and stopped having come upon a very full buffet with everything from pizza and cheeseburgers to caviar and escargo. " Hey, Rhone. I found some food. Well, more like alot."

 

"Alar-." Aria's eyes widened but she stayed quiet, as her back pressed against the rough bark. She watched Alaric, eager to know what had happened but knowing it was smarter to stay silent and wait for him. She watched and waited, shivering slightly.

 

Twisting, she shielded herself, then rolled, only getting trapped more. Her head pounded. Why can't this stop? He'll kill me. He never goes this far. She yelped, then curled up in a quivering ball, giving up. It had stopped him before, but not now.

 

"What? Really?" Rhone hurried by his side and looked at the layout of food. "I must've died and went to heaven..." He mumbled as he trieed to decide what to eat first. He grabbed a cheeseburger and took off the bun, taking the pickles off, and took a bite. "Wow, it's pretty good."

 

As he ran out the door, Mizore put her hands around her mouth and yelled out to him. "A simple NO would've been just just fine!!" She watched him run off before turning back to look at Ken. "So, yeah..."

 

Aria tried her best to keep still, her eyes squeezed tightly shut. She had a bad feeling and she wanted to make sure Alaric was alright. At the same time, she didn't want to make any sudden sounds or movements that would give their position away. She bit down on her bottom lip. Alaric, don't do anything stupid... She thought, trying her harderst to send those thoughts to him.

 

"I should go get Aly. She must be hungry. I'll be right back." He said walking out of the mess hall and over to the cabin he shared with Aly and Rhone. Going inside, he saw Aly thrashing around in her bed, tangled in the blankets. He ran over to her, gently grabbing her arm and shaking her. "Aly! Wake up, it's just a nightmare." He said, patting her cheek lightly.

 

Aly whimpered, then bolted upright, grabbing his arm hard, her eyes wild. "O-oh..I'm sorry, Jasped." she whispered, letting go of his arm, trembling. "I'm really sorry." She bit her lower lip, watching the marks her fingers had left on Jasped's arm fade.

 

"Alright," Rhone said, mouth full of food. When he was halfway finished with the burger, he grabbed another one and turned around, looking for an empty table. He sat down at one that wasn't too far from the food and finished eating, waiting for Aly and Jasped.

 

Following through the door, Tyler looked down at the girl. She was pale and scared, like she was being hunted. From what he didn't know.

"Is she ok? he asked the boy.

"She doesn't look too good."

 

Aly's eyes widened. "Be right back!" she dashed out the door, and into the border of the woods, throwing up everything she had eaten and things she hadn't. She trembled, wiping her lips and hiding what had happened. "Some medicine." she muttered in her head, closing her eyes to wait until the dizziness had passed.

 

Worried, Tyler chased after the girl as she went deep into the forest. He was scared, but not enough to abandon her. She didn't seem right and he needed to see if she was ok. Besides, there were no monsters out here, Ken said so. He couldn't be wrong right...right?

 

Slowly opening her eyes, she looked up to see the guy from before. "Hi." she whispered, her throat raw from screaming. She smiled shyly, her eyes still wide, and offered a hand from her sitting position in the ground. "Sorry about...."she coughed, and winced,"before."

 

Tyler smiled weakly, accepting the hand. Gently, he lifted her up and brushed her down, removing any bits of grass and leaves.

"What happened back there? Are you ok?"

 

She wobbled, forcing herself to lean against him. "Just a dream..." she murmured, closing her eyes. "Just a dream." If she repeated herself enough, maybe she would actually believe it. She could still feel it though, then winced as the guy's hands brushed a bruise on her leg. Wait...that hadn't been there before. "I'm fine, thank you." she whispered, managing to keep her voice calm.
