~: Camping Trip :~

She jumped, then sighed. "Sorry, old habits." she murmured, smiling a little as she finished gathering and folding the clothes, then holding them up to him. "It's fine, anyway. I was closer." she looked away as she said it, thinking.

 

Aria let her arms loosen, her face buried in Alaric's chest. She didn't like this feeling. She didn't like not being able to help him, or to comfort him or to understand. She pulled back finally, keeping her eyes downcast and biting her lip.

 

"Thanks," he said quietly as he grabbed them from her. "I'll finish unpacking later," he said, climbing down. "I think I'll go the mess hall and get a snack or something," he said outloud, although if it was to Aly or Jasped, he wasn't sure himself. He walked towards the door, deep in thought.

 

Aly nodded, then turned to Jasped. "Can you turn around?" she asked. "Or go outside? I need to do some girl stuff." She would have taken care of this earlier if she hadn't been so preoccupied with...these two. Her heart heavy, she sighed, then smiled a little, waiting.

 

"Oh, um...Yeah, i'll go with Rhone." He said, following Rhone to the mess hall. OOC: sorry for the one liner

 

Aly closed the door, slowly pulled her shirt off, then used her fingers to gently touch the bruises on her back. She winced as she hit a large one, then moved past it. Most were healing, but some...her fingers lingered over a particularly large scar, some would become like that one. She gently dropped to her knees, then reached in her shoe, her fingers grasping the medication. Just a little bit more, and she would be better, Mom had said.

 

"Thanks, Ken....you tried." Mizore slowly opened her eyes towards him as she heard a slight creeking noise from the cabin door getting opened. She already knew they wouldn't keep quiet anyway. Mizore sat up on the top bunk of her bed and glanced down to see if Tyler was still sleeping, he was.

 

As Rhone walked away from the cabin, he heard its door opened and turned around to see which one of his new roommates followed him. "You coming with?" He asked Jasped as he slowed his pace. "I think that's the mess hall over there," he pointed towards a building not too far.

 

"Where should we go?" Aria asked. Her gaze was now on the Dinner Hall, but she suddenly didn't feel very hungry. She sighed out and closed her eyes tight. "You pick..."

 

Aly took a deep breath, then swallowed the big blue pill. Almost instantly, she felt naseua, then dizziness, and just kneeled on the floor, hoping it would pass soon. She closed her eyes, pressing her face against the coolness of the floorboards, waiting.

It did pass soon enougn, and she tried to get up, only to fall. She winced, then slowly picked herself up, still feeling slightly lightheaded. She didn't know why the medication made her so sleepy, but it did. Wobbling, she crawled onto the bed, curled up in the heart of it, and closed her eyes, falling into a dizzy, drugged sleep.

 

"Yeah, that's it." He replied to Rhone. "Aly needed to do some girl stuff or something so I decided i'd go with you." He walked into the mess hall and looked around. "Hm....Have you noticed that no one is ever working in the camp?"

 

Tyler awoke in a heap of thrashing bed linen and shouts of exclamation on the floor. He had forgotten what it was, but something scared him in his dream, something bad.

"Who...wha? Gerroffa me!"

 

He wondered what kind of girly stuff she was doing, but decided it was best not to think about it, "That's true," Rhone replied, looking around. "I haven't seen any counselors or anything. They pretty much left us to ourselves..." He put his hands into his pocket again, and shrugged, "They're probably in an office or something getting ready, but they should have had someone to guide us or something after we got here. Maybe they'll be someone in the mess hall," he finished as they approached the door.

 

Mizore continued to stare down at Tyler and raised an eyebrow at him in confusion. "....Nightmare? You looked peaceful just a few moments ago. I guess this was the right time to wake up." She crawled over to the side of her bed before grabbing onto the ladder.

 

Aly woke up, still tired. She murmured something, her eyes heavy with sleep and dazed from the drug. She knew better then to try to stand, but she was cold...just another side effect. Shivering slightly, she curled up, watching the wall on the other side of the bunk bed twist and turn, making her head spin. She shut her eyes, but the images were just as bad. Her father coming at her with the knife, as he had threatened to do so many times, or her mother, tired and fearful, smacking her to shut up. Her back twinged when she tried to curl up tighter, and she winced, then made her way to the corner of the bunk bed that was against the wall. Facing the slightly wavering doorway, she curled up like a puppy might, closing her eyes again.

 

Ken walked back into the cabin he saw that Tyler was awake and Mizore was as well. He leaned against the wall and sighed he hated being bored he wonderd what there was to do. "so what do you guys wanna do" Ken asked the two with an smile.

 

"I'm not sure...do you see any camp counselors or adults out there?" Mizore climbed down the ladder from the side of the bunk bed and walked up to the door after she stepped on the ground. "Or...do you think this is some kind of joke they're playing? They wouldn't seriously leave a bunch of teenagers alone at a camp, right?" She turned ahead to Ken and Tyler.

 

"If it's a joke, I don't find it funny."

Tyler rested his head on his hand and looked over at his two roommates. Things seemed to be getting boring around here. He had to think up some way to entertain himself. Maybe he should ask them something.

"So Ken, Miz, what do we do exactly at camp?"
