~: Camping Trip :~

"Oh," Rhone knew what she meant. "I guess it does seem heavy, then." He looked around as their cabin came into view. "That's ours right there," he said, pointing with his free hand. "You're about to have a roof over your head and a nice, comfy bed to sleep in," he said, half-smiling.

 

She smiled a little. "Are roofs usually sturdy?" She watched it apprehensively. "It looks like it might cave in. The barn was bigger...." and had more rotten beams. This was good. She just had a hard time trusting it.

 

He frowned a little bit at the word barn, but quickly got rid of it so she wouldn't see. "Most roofs are, but that does look raggedy...but don't worry. You have the bottom bunk; if it falls, it'll crush me first and my body'll keep it from falling any farther," he joked.

 

She smiled a little more, shaking her head. "But you're so nice, I wouldn't want it to crush you." She took his hand again, pulling him toward the cabin. "Let's look!"

 

"I wouldn't want to crush me either," he laughed, letting her lead him into the cabin. He almost tripped over a rock and then again on the one step to the cabin. "Anxious to see it, aren't you?" he asked.

 

She slowed down going up the stairs, then smiled. "A little. I've only ever seen my Papa's house." She opened the door, stepped inside, then stared. "You have all this?" It was soo big compard to her home.

 

Rhone didn't think it was much but he nodded, anyway. "He pointed to the top bunk on the bed to the right, "That's where I'm sleeping." His bag was visible from the doorway where they stood. He just realized the bed seemed ugly to him, he gave himself a mental note to put his pillows and sheets on as soon as he could.

 

She slowly went over to the lower bunk and touched it, her eyes wide. "What's it made of?" She asked wonderingly, moving her hand over it. It was very soft, gliding under her fingers almost like air. The bed did look sturdy, like the roof. Maybe it would be okay..

 

Rhone stood in the doorway as she touched the bed, watching her. "I really don't know what it's made of. Is it comfy?" He asked, putting his hands in his pocket, "I didn't really feel it when I came in." As he watched her feel the covers, he wondered what the mess hall had to eat, he was getting a little hungry.

 

Not turning, Aly had to smile a little. "You can go eat if you want." She sat gently on the bed, squealed happily, then bounced on it a little. "I'll stay here, I want to take it all in. Besides, I'm not hungry." She looked up at him, smiling a little. "Go ahead."

 

Rhone hesistated. He didn't want to leave her there, but he thought of an excuse right away. "Well first," he started as he walked towards her and climbed the wooden ladder to the top bunk, "I should unpack." He looked over the edge of the bed and saw the top of her head and then opened his bag.

 

She smiled up at him, her eyes brighter. "I won't run out the door the moment you leave, you know." she murmured, lying down on the bed. It was so soft. She just couldn't get over it. "I'm almost never hungry, just to warn you." She winced as her back twinged, then rolled onto her side, listening to Rhone above her.

Ken oppend his eyes he rememberd the night before the food was good. He looked over to see Tyler still holding on to his pillow like an mother to her child he smiled. Then he looked around to see Mizore sleeping peacefully unlike them he could not go back to sleep the sun was blinding him. Ken sat up and stood up he yawned as he oppend the door an smile spreaded across his face as the birds chirped and the slight wind went across making the grass sway in the sunlight.

 

OOC: Sorreh, it was my birthday two days ago and I couldn't get on yesterday. While the other two talked, Jasped had ventured into the cabin and fell asleep on the bed. He only woke up when Rhone jumped on his bed. Jasped instantly sat up, forgetting it was a bunk bed till his forehead connected with a crossbeam under the top bunk. He sat there frozen, his eyes wide and his forehead against the beam, then fell back and held his forehead. "Owwww! Stupid bed......" He said, rolling out of the bed and stood up. "That hurt." He said, rubbing his forehead.

 

OOC: Happy late Birthday, then!
BIC:Hearing her assure him that she'll still be there when he returns brought a smile onto Rhone's face for a reason he wasn't sure of, but it quickly when a loud thud surprised him, making him knock his bag off the bed and onto the floor, some of its contents spilled out. He looked towards Jasped, he was rubbing his forehead and figured out what happened. "You alright?" he asked, trying not to laugh.

BIC: Aly jumped, then turned toward the noise, her eyes wide. "Are you alright?" she asked, hearing Rhone voice the same question. His bag was spilled all over the floor, and Jasped was rubbing his forehead. She got up, used to years of service, and started cleaning up the spilled items, keeping her eyes downcast.

 

Rhone threw his feet over the edge so he was now sitting on the edge of the bed and looked down at the sudden movement from under him and saw Aly picking his clothes up. "Hey, Aly, you don't gotta do that," he said, quickly.
