Another example as to why Americans are truly more badass.

I actually like Irish accents more than any accents.

Any person's voice can be annoying or sexy no matter what accent really. So I don't understand why there is a competition or comparison. What matters is what the person's saying really but @ that pic: lol

The concept of an "American accent" annoys me since America is so wide spread (due to all the Manifest Destiny crap that made us pretty big *******s when it came to territory) so we have several accents. It is like saying someone has a European accent.

That being said, I did still find this funny.

Quietly thinks Boston and New York accents are super adorable.
Not so quietly regrets awful mixture of accents gained from parents from the north and south of the USA.

Being American, I have no clue how an "American Accent" sounds to someone with another accent...So, I'll have to say, I've always loved the British accent :D

    Russian accent beats everything.

I'm from Boston, and my accent really comes out when I get mad, or really happy. xD

    South African FTW!!!

The British accent is more wide spread then many foreigners to the country believe. We have:
    - Posh
    - West Country
    - Northern
    - Welsh (sub catergories)
    - Scottish (sub catergories)
    - Northern Irish (seriously, it's different from other parts of Ireland)
    - Liverpudlian (sp?)
    - You have different London based accents: North, South, West, East, Cockney
    - Gangsta (innit bruv)
    - Jordie (Cheryl Cole...)
    -Yorkshire
    - Etc that I can't be bothered to think of...

But to America, we sound like a mix Posh Cockneys which I don't even think exists. They kinda just merged together.

All in all, we had it first! WE WIN!!! : D

I'm American but I really want a British accent. Seems more classy in a way. -Hides- I mean no offense when I say that it's just the way I feel. ^^

Apparently I have a really upper-class English accent.... which makes no sense since I'm Welsh.

But French accents, American accents (srsly I love them, Spanish, Italian... oh and the Valleys accents from Wales, the really pronounced ones. And Canadians. ^_^
