~Bleach: War of the Masked~

Yamata looked on his arm and with a carefree look and mimicked surprise and said"Hey look i do have a captain Haori...so i guess i am a Captain...May i just say that the people of the fourth are essential for the Gotei 13...but i'm not with them. I'm the 11th division Captain, Sasuke over there was my former captain and i regret to see i'm so inferior to him at this point in time...but i guess since i can't have him yet i'll have to settle for you Vizard. I'm sorry to disappoint you but i have no intention of releasing my blade in any shape or form, your not nearly strong enough for me to do that" he smiled Sadistically. "I'm afraid all i shall grace you with is my superb physical abilities and my kidou" he said as he put on hand behind his back , leaned over and waved his arm across in front of himself gracefully and quickly enough that a streak of dust followed his hand.

"Naive as always" Sasuke said as he smirked what what could be a symbol of true merriment.

 

"oh and daichi is keeping and eye on them but am worry that they kill him daichi is going whit them but still he could die" he said to kyo and sit down on a branch

 

"Eleventh Squad?" Virem exclaimed with glee. "So you must be a great fighter!" His tone almost sounded like admiration. He grabbed his sword and quickly pulled it out, waving it in front of Yamata. "Well then," he said with a smile, "Don't disappoint me." His tone and expression changed instantly. "Blood spoils if tasted with disappointment," he said calmly as he reared back, but before he could attack, he heard Masa. It's true...Kyo wants his little brother to reach him in once piece..He thought with disdain. Before he did anything else, he turned his head slightly, looking at Hatsuharu.


For the first time in his fight, Hatsuharu looked at the Vizards behind him. He could see Yamata, but the other two he had sensed were leaving. However, Yamata looked as if he was about to fight someone. Someone with bright red hair and red Shinigami clothing. Hatsu couldn't sense any spiritual pressure from him. At the same instant, the red-clad Shinigami turned his head to look at him and flashed him a grin, a fang showing among his teeth. The look in the Shinigami's eyes could only be described as pure hatred and Hatsuharu felt a shiver in his spine, something that surprised him.

"I'm sorry, Captain," Virem told Yamata as he slowly turned his face back to him. "We can't be here, right now. But I'll gladly you rip to shreds somewhere else," he told him politely as he raised his sword. In the blink of an eye, Virem collided with Yamata and the both of them flew through the wall.

"Kukuku," the real Kyo chuckled as he leaned back against the tree, directly under the branch where Ryukason was sitting. His arms were crossed and his eyes had a devilish glare to them as he took in his subordinate's words. "Worry your little white haired head not," Kyo assured him as a loud groan was heard from the room next to him. It was Captain Sohma, finishing his torture. The next round was bound to start soon. "Daichi will be just fine~" he continued. He knew Daichi could take care of himself. "As for the Soul Reapers, let them come. It's all part of the graaanndd plaannnn, you see?" He emphasized the last part of his statement as he looked up. "If we're lucky, maybe the others will rip them all to pieces. Except Hatsu, of course," He grinned at the idea of seeing his little brother. He should be fighting someone disguised as Kyo at the moment. He looked up, snapping out of his daydream to see the two Vizards from before bringing another Hollow to the door. He simply gestured for them to go in. Old Sohma must be getting full, he thought gleefully.

 

"Well if you said so but please stop playing game whit your brother is sad that he hasn't figure at that not you" ryusakon crossed his arms and look down to where kyo brother was

 

"Some type of hydra ability?" Lex asked Sanosuke. Lex was unsure what to do, if he kept slicing then more Anaconda hollows would appear. It must have a weakness...Lex thought to himself. For the first time in his life he wished to hear Serpiente's opinion. What do you think, Serpiente? Lex asked in his head. I'm unsure about this one, kid. Lex laughed. Serpiente rarely called him kid, it was usually witty insults or some kind of lecture. Well, if we can't slice it.......then how about CRUSHING it. Serpiente said with a cold laugh. A shiver went down Lex's spine. Serpiente had a cruel sense of humor, and it scared him sometimes.

 

"Don't make me fucking laugh" said Yamata as his face suddenly changed from happy and carefree to slightly insane as he used shunpo from being under virem in the push to the wall to grabbing vvirem by the side of the face and throwing towards the ground. As he went down Yamata pressed the souls of his feet against virems and as he was about to reach the ground he jumps to slam virems face right into the ground. Mid-air Yamata exclaims "Who needs a Cero when i have this. Raikōhō!!!!" and a magnificent bolt of lightning is sent down at Virem.

 

Kyo couldn't help but let out a ferocious laugh at Ryukason's comment. The laugh echoed loudly, overwhelming the groans of the prisoner and the dying roar of the Hollow in the next room. "You're bringing...tears..to...my eyes...Ryuka..son," Kyo managed to spit out as he struggled for air. After a few seconds, he wiped his eyes and looked up. "Don't worry about Hatsu, that little guppie thinks he's a shark," he commented, "But he can take care of himself...and he's smart." Kyo waved a finger around in a matter-of-fact gesture, "There's no doubt in my mind that the bird-brain knows it's not me. He might not like me..." Kyo crossed his arms again and looked straight at Ryukason, "But he knows me."

Hatsu! Attention! Raiya's voice echoed in his head, bringing Hatsuharu out of the daze Virem had left him in. He turned his head just in time to see Kyo's image slash. Not having time to block, Hatsu flash-stepped backwards, but the blade still made contact. "Augh!" He fell back, but quickly reverse somersaulted to his feet. He looked down at this torn Shinigami uniform and the blood pouring onto it. It wasn't a deep cut, but it was long. "Damn it...first you try and trick me," Hatsuharu stood up and raised his blade, the chain on his left arm quickly unwrapping itself, "Then you have the nerve to cut me?" The chain aligned itself with his blade, giving him an extra long weapon as the chain stiffed. "I'm going to kill you, you GOOD FOR NOTHING IMPOSTER!" At the end of his sentence, once more Raiya's screech could be heard as if he was Hollowfied when he wasn't. He dashed forward as his yellow spirit energy quickly enveloped the blade. "Relam Trueno!" He slashed it, the chain covered in electrical reiatsu.

Kyo's impostor could feel the amount of spirit energy in the attack and tried to dodge it, but the chain was too fast. "NO!" He yelled in a voice unfamiliar to Hatsu as it slashed across his chest, in the same direction as his attack on the Hatsuharu himself. The chain wrapped around his body, from his shoulder to the opposite rip cage and back again as he felt the surge of the electricity. A yell broke through his mouth and the mask broke, but revealed his own mask underneath: a simple skull with intricate black designs. One of his blades disappeared as the other one turned into a normal looking katana.

Instead of screaming in pain, Virem simply laughed as he disappeared from under Yamata after his kido attack. He reappeared several yards in front of him, slightly hunched over and with a large grin on his face as blood dripped from his lips. He let out a small chuckle and addressed the captain, "That was pretty good, Mr. Eleven." Virem could hear Bradnias laughing in his head and it was obvious why. We can go all out, Bradnias! He thought happily. We're far enough from Hatsuharu that Kyo can't get mad and we have no orders about this guy! We can rip him limb from limb! He could hear Bradnias laugh in agreement. "I didn't think you would use a kido! I remember the eleventh division...I thought they only believed in sword combat? I bet your squad members think you're a disgrace!" He said it with a laugh as he unsheathed Bradnias, a normal looking sword. "Of course some must think you're something special alright, but either way, I'm going to thank you," He nodded as he held Bradnias horizontally under his face, letting his blood slowly drip onto its steel. "You're letting me awaken my best friend," he said in a suddenly ominous and cryptic voice. His blood quickly expanded, covering the entirety of Bradnias. "Come on out, Bradnias...DRINK AND COMMAND!" As he yelled it, the blood blew away from the blade, revealing its new form: The sword was now as long as Virem was tall with the handle transformed into a bandage-wrapped bone. The blade was pure white and covered in red designs that seemed to slowly pulsate. "This is Bradnias," he said, once again in an ominous tone but with a smile. "But he's had his fill of my blood. Now he wants yours."

Maybe crush it? Sanosuke thought as he jumped to the side, waving his staff so the whip would hit one of the snakes that lunged at him. But it might just regenerate aga-He didn't have time to finish because the Hollow instantly appeared in front of him and tackled him with his head. "UGH!" He said as he flew back. He flipped through the air and landed on his feet, albeit on a wall. It's quick! Must be an Adjuchas at least...He thought to himself. "Lex! Can your Zanpakuto smash it flat? Or burn it?" He wasn't sure of Lex's abilities, but he had an idea.

Daichi kept his pace but turned his head back. "Surely you can't be tired yet, Captain Zanshou. Is it that you still don't trust me?" Daichi asked. All this talking felt unnatural to Daichi. It was easier for them to trust this sociable facade he put on, but there was a reason that the captain didn't remember him well; Daichi hardly ever left his lab back in the soul society. He was in no hurry to end this charade, it would provide valuable data for him as well as a leverage point for Los Lobos. But he would be much more comfortable once this was over with.

 

Hanzo leaned back upon the tree whose branch he was resting on. Los Lobos had been similar to his Soul Society experience except for one detail...he did more in the Soul Society! He hadn't been assigned any particular objective, just don't interfere with Kyo. At the same time it gave him a sense of freedom. When will I eat again? The voice was of course familiar. It was demonic and guttural yet loud in his head, like a thousand voices all compressed into one. "When the time comes, Beast." The silence was broken again as the zanpakuto spoke, If you don't feed me I'll have to drain you. "Calm down Kurt Cobain, we both know you can't drain me unless you're released."

He closed his eyes for a moment but opened them up again quickly, he sensed someone just passing him. He turned his head to just barely see Masa and even farther, Daichi and the others. Is it feeding time? "Not necessarily...but it wouldn't hurt to do some reconnaissance..." he replied. He slowly stood up on the branch and stretched, he put one foot forward and flash-stepped a few yards behind Masa simply observing.

 

The aura around the scale sword began to darken with excitement. CRUSH! CRUSH! CRUSH! The words echoed in Lex's head. Serpiente stop that! You'll go unstable and break our- Immediately, all the power of the feather sword rushed into the scale sword. What are you doing? Trust me on this, okay? Lex nodded and lowered his sword slowly to the ground. He tapped the ground with his sword once and then the dark aura seeped into the ground. A monster made of stone rose from the ground slowly. It looked slightly human, except for its claws and a bowl-like head. The monster was engulfed with the same aura the scale sword was. "Uh, What the heck is that!" Lex shouted. Its a Golem! Serpiente hissed excitedly. He is a crushing machine, I created him using an ancient technique used by earth zanpakuto. Lex looked at both of his swords. Both of them looked dull and weak. This technique is usually used as a last resort....but I think this was the right time to use it. Lex sighed. I wish you could tell me these things before you do them.

 

Hanzo gave a knowing, silent nod to Masa letting him know he knew to lay low. He studied Daichi and the others, his eyes quickly moving to scan them. 'One's a captain...he's either not as strong as he looks or he's hiding his spiritual pressure, the girl seems to have some underlying strength, and of course...Daichi.' Hanzo thought to himself as he looked the group over. He was waiting for something...he didn't know what, but he could feel the tension. They were getting closer and closer to Kyo's battle, maybe today wouldn't be so boring after all.

 

He landed looking towards the ground."Its funny you would bring up the fact that i use kidou...everyone seems to do that.The only person who didn't was him" and he pointed above him to see Sasuke standing mid-air watching the fight. "Some may think i'm a disgrace to the division but they don't say that....do you know why..." and he looked up to look at Virem with a look of insanity and said "Because they fear my kidou just as much as they fear my Zanpukuto" he said as he pushed his sheath with his blade in it just below his back. "The reason i don't release my blade is because my physical abilities and kidou are enough. My blade will be a special treat for you if you be a good little vizard keep up a good fight" he said as a smile broke across his face.

"As Naive as usual..." Sasuke Sighed.

"Lets get this started" Yamata said as he used shunpo to appear right in front of Virem and pressed his calm into virems face and then whispered "Tenran" as a vast tornado was about the come from the palm of his hand.

 

Somerie surveyed the area from the tree tops, only spotting smaller hollows running for cover or just following the group because they were interested, nothing really concerning, but she kept a eye on Daichi's whereabouts, watching for any mishaps or strange behavior that would indicate trouble. Suddenly she sensed that strange spiritual presence again, one she thought she recognized before, was it a menos? No it couldn't be, it's pressure was too irregular because to her the spiritual pressure of a menos was more rounded in her mind's eye, this one had spikes going out in all different directions. She called down to make sure everyone else was still fairing well down on the forest floor.
" Are you doing well down there? There's nothing fishy going on down there . . . is there?"

"It's time," Kyo said as he closed his eyes. When he opened them, they were pure blue, no pupil or iris showing. It was a trait unique to Kyo within Los Lobos and every other known Vizard. He could access his Hollow powers without donning a mask. That and the Hollow powers he could use that other Vizards couldn't were the main reason why his superiors placed him in charge. However, no one knew how he could do this. It was Kyo's trump card. And he made sure no one else knew how he achieved this level of power. He pushed himself off the tree and walked past the door leading to Sohma's prison. He walked all the way to the adjacent wall, where a tube-like structure was sticking out. He smiled and narrowed his bright blue eyes as he approached it. The tube was part of a system of tubes that ran all through the underground of Hueco Mundo, reaching the branches of some trees. Kyo raised his face to the tube and opened his mouth. "AAAHHHHHRRRRRRRHHGGGHHH!" He lout a deep, but horrifically loud roar, his Hollowfied voice ringing through Hueco Mundo's Menos Forest. The echo reached all corners, reaching every Shinigami, Los Lobos or not, in the Menos Forest. Those in Los Lobos knew that this was the signal to meet back in Sohma's room. It was also the signal for Hatsuharu to hear, and hopefully follow. "They'll be coming anytime now," he said in a monstrous voice as he turned around. The blue around his eyes turned back to white and his iris reappeared. "Let's go, Ryukason. It's almost time," he gestured for the other Soul Reaper to follow as he opened the door to Sohma's room and entered, waiting for the others.

Virem's smile didn't disappear when the wind from Yamata's attack disbursed. "They fear that?" He asked mockingly. He was no longer in front of Yamata, but behind him. Yamata's attack wasn't quick enough. He raised his blade as Bradnias' hunger seem to physically pour out of it in the form of dripping blood. "The Captain-Commander himself struggled to hit me with his Kidou. I doubt you could land one!" The blade stopped inches away from Yamata's skin when Kyo's roar reached him. In his head, he could hear Bradnias scream in anger. The blade continued to pour blood, but it stopped moments after. Before Yamata could turn around, Virem jumped through the air. "DAMN IT!" He spoke Bradnias' anger, not his own. He listened to Kyo's every word without hesitation. "Bradnias will be waiting for you, Mr. Eleven!" He yelled angrily at Yamata. "He wants to show you exactly weak you are for the so-called Captain of the Eleventh Division," he mocked as floated into a hallway. "But only if you're strong enough to sense my spiritual pressure and follow it~" As he said it, he let loose on his personal shroud. The shroud hid his Spiritual pressure from all but those who knew it personally, no one in Soul Society but the Captain Commander could feel it. Only a select few in Los Lobos, including Kyo, could do it. But now he let Yamata in on the secret. He disappeared, leaving Yamata to follow him.

Hatsuharu pulled Raiya back, her chain whipping around his back and wrapping itself around his left arm. With the illusion of the Vizard's shikai gone, Hatsuharu got a more accurate reading of his spiritual pressure. It was Hollowfied for sure, but it couldn't have been more than a seated officer's.

"Argh!" The Los Lobos fighter roared. His Shikai couldn't mimic sounds, but it could mimic appearances perfectly. Once he donned his mask, even his spiritual pressure would be difficult to discern. But Hatsuharu knew that he wasn't Kyo early on? "How?! How'd you know I wasn't Kyo!" he demanded to know before raising his blade and lunging forward.

Hatsuharu let Raiya drop as he raised his forefinger, "Byakurai!" He yelled it as a constant stream of white lightning launched from his finger, impaling the other Soul Reaper and pushing him to the wall. Hatsuharu smiled when Byakurai's current disappeared after his opponent's mask shattered. "That's easy," he said quietly as he approached the wall where his enemy was pinned, Raiya dragging on the floor behind him. "One, you don't act like my brother at all." His fists clenched as he got closer, "Two, not a single time did you use a water-related ability even though you were impersonating his Shikai." He could feel his fists tighten as they started to shake, his steps echoing in the cave. "Three, you don't even fight like him," he finally reached the other Shinigami as he opened his palms. "And finally, I KNOW MY BROTHER!" He yelled it as he grabbed the Soul Reaper by his clothes, blood pouring from his chest onto Hatsu's hand. He lifted him against the wall and closed the distance between their faces. "I'm going to ask you once. Where is my brother and where is my Captain?" Shortly after he said it, Kyo's roar reached him, surprising him to the point where he almost dropped his opponent.

"ha...ha.." The Soul Reaper could barely breathe as he started to lose consciousness, his lifeforce nearing its end. "The one-eyed man is waiting," he chuckled, despite his labored breathing. "Follow your...brother's...roar..." He raised a hand, using all his strength to do so and pointed behind Kyo, to a small tunnel.

"Holy sh-" Sanosuke couldn't believe his eyes. Was Lex really just a tenth-seat, with abilities like this? The snake lunged at him and he ducked, slicing its neck with his blade, but making sure not to cut its head off again. "I know what to do!" He grinned excitedly. He raised Miroku and started to spin it quickly, pouring all his spiritual energy into it. "Here we go, Miroku! Make this Hollow say good night!" A strong wind started to encase his staff. Before long, it was a wide, but flat tornado. The Hollow hissed and lunged again, but Sano ducked and the Hollow landed on his staff's wind.Hi-ya!" It took all his strength, but he pushed upwards, the tornado grew and blew the snake into its twin, knocking both of them down. "Lex, crush them!" He yelled over both snake's hiss. For a second, he thought they said "Sssanosssuke"



OOC: Anybody with a Los Lobos member, Kyo's roar means it's time to start going to Sohma's room. Anybody else...you have no idea what the roar means >>
Also, I'm going to start killing off certain characters if they don't post soon.

 

Daichi couldn't help but cringe slightly, he hadn't calculated Kyo calling for them in the middle of this. Kyo wanted all Los Lobos, if Daichi was an exception he would have been told. Had Ryukason delivered the message? And what was he supposed to do with the Gotei members he had with him? With no time to weigh his options Daichi just did the first thing that came to mind. "I've heard that before. It causes the Los Lobos members to gather. I couldn't go after them before since the would overpower me alone. But with you here we might stand a chance. We need to go now, we might not see a chance like this again." Daichi picked up speed as he went towards Sohma's room, purposely not giving Somerie or Arashi time to think.
