~Bleach: War of the Masked~

Daichi had to resist smiling. Ryusakon could not have come at a better time. Especially since Arashi put an end to the copycat game earlier than most did. Daichi would have to remember that spirit particle manipulation and try and solve it later. He had heard of such a skill but never saw it in action. For now though the plan had changed.

Daichi was not fast enough to dodge all of Arashi's needles due to the lack of space and warning, but did narrowly dodge two, leaving one each to hit is arm, shoulder, and stomach. Daichi then flashstepped to Ryusakon's side to deliver a slash to Ryusakon. It would now be harder for Arashi to see Daichi as an enemy when Daichi showed less hesitation in attacking a known enemy than he did. Ryusakon would doubtless talk to Daichi showing that hey were fellow members of Los Lobos, but actions spoke louder than words.

 

"Whoa," was all Sano could mutter at the sight of Lex's power. His Spiritual Pressure is fluctuating...what's this power?He wondered to himself, but the sound of a hiss behind him made him turn back around, Miroku's unreleased staff form in his right hand. "Yo, Lex," he started with a smile, "That's a pretty nice power you have going on there. Let's put it to use and end this quick!" As he said it, the Hollow lunged at him baring its fangs. Sanosuke barely managed to jump to his right, but the snake-Hollow's tail was right there waiting for him. "Ugh!" It hit him square in the chest, knocking him against the wall. "Lex, get ready!" He yelled through a grunt as he pushed himself off the wall and raised Miroku. "Hey, scales!" He called out to the Hollow as he slowly started spinning Miroku above his head, a strong breeze forming around it. "Get ready to get blown away..." His grin was evident as he met the Hollow's eyes as it hissed.

"You'll taste good, Soul Reaper."

Hatsu's Zanpakuto was starting to push Kyo backwards. "What's wrong? Can you not handle it anymore? ARE YOU THAT WEAK AFTER ALL?" He yelled as he finally got Kyo against a tree, but his brother only grunted without laughing or speaking. Instead of attacking again, Hatsu simply jumped backwards, flipping through the air and sheathed Raiya. I'm going to blast a Cero right through his heart!He thought as he raised a hand to his face. Don't! We don't need that, Raiya assured him, her bird-like shrieking ringing in his mind. Bring me out instead! Hatsuharu scolded, but realized what she was doing and agreed. "Ready, Raiya?" Hatsuharu asked as he grabbed her hilt and assumed a battle position. "Surge into the hearts of the fearful...Raiya!" A golden chain exploded from Raiya's hilt as the sheath turned into pure electricity. Hatsu whipped Raiya, taking in her released form as he pointed the tip towards his opponent. Her once silver blade was now golden, with the middle section still missing. The golden chain quickly went around his back and wrapped around his left arm. Small amounts of spiritual energy was tracing around the whip and blade, resembling electricity. Let's take this impostor down, Raiya told her weilder, who simply nodded with a strange mixture of a smirk and scold on his face.
"Shut up, old man," Virem rudely told Sasuke. "You're nothing but a failed experiment," he told him as he took a step away. The boy's sudden rudeness was due to his personal feelings at Sasuke. As far as he was concerned, Sasuke was a failed experiment while he was the success. "I'll take this guy down and Bradnias shall feast tonight!" He said as he disappeared, only to reappear in the air in front of Yamata with a boyish smile, a fang showing through. "Hi there," he said simply as his expression turned menacing, "I hope you don't mind if I tear you to peaces!" He grabbed Bradnias' handle, waiting for Yamata to answer him.

 

You heard the man! You know what to do! Lex nodded in agreement. He jumped up into the air and threw his scale sword into the ground. As the sword touched the ground, giant spikes rose from the ground and impaled different parts of the hollow's snake-like body. The hollow was paralyzed and groaned in terrible pain. Lex moved his feather sword softly across the hollow's upper body. At first, nothing seemed to happen ,but then a giant gust of wind sliced through its neck. "A cold-blooded death for a cold-blooded killer, seems fitting" Lex said softly.

 

Sasuke stood up and in a dramatic gesture, as loud as possible "We are all but Failed Experiments, us being two which are the greatest failures of all" he said as he thought "The main difference between me and you, Virem is that i shall become whole or for a better word ...." he thought as he looked for an Adequate word...All he knew is that Yamata wasn't going to be taken as easily as Virem thought...

Yamata felt slightly surprised since he was mid-air but he just smiled back "Its funny i would've said the same about you". He put his sword to his shoulder and went to kick the person first to see what he would do.

 

ryusakon cough of blood and wander why daichi strike him "ah what that hell daichi you i came here to help you betray los lobo to safe the trash fine them i make regret that decision later.
He said to daichi as hi flash step out of rage of them and took out shion and natsu and release them "salgan a jugar niñas" the area around him turn white a fog could be seen surrounding him "now let me show you my ice hell daichi"'

 

Daichi's blade disolved one more and filled this time with fire until the blade was a uniform red. "If you're here to help then what were you planning to do with her? And how can I betray a group I was never a part of? Your tricks are transparent and we will not fall for them." Daichi said to Ryusakon. He had hoped Ryusakon would flee when he attacked. Doubtless this was not going to turn into a long discussion with at least one of the higher members of Los Lobos.

 

Virem was surprised when the kick landed and pushing him several yards back, almost hitting a wall, but stopping just in time. To his right, on the other side of the wall with a gaping hole was Sasuke and Masa. To his left, almost completely oblivious to them was Hatsuharu fighting who he believed to be his brother. His face almost immediately turned into a frown, but his hand stayed on Bradnias' guilt. Virem wasn't surprised that the kick landed. He could have easily dodged it and possibly have torn off Yamata's leg in the process, but the kick had caught him off guard because that wasn't at all what he was expecting: a simple kick. He slowly started floating back towards Yamata. "You're a Captain, right?" He asked sorrowfully as his eyes drooped. He was expecting so much more from a Captain. The strange way he floated gave him the appearance of a red ghost with his dark red clothing and bright red hair. His expression would have made the most cold-hearted person feel for him. He felt as a child who was promised a new toy and then denied it at the last minute. "What squad are you from? The fourth?" He asked him as he closed the distance, leaving only a few yards between them. Maybe that's was why Yamata had kicked him instead of something more exciting; he was part of the healing squad.

Kyo let out another laugh, but this one was different from before. He raised both his blades and beckoned Hatsuharu forward.

"Here I come!" Yelled the angry Lieutenant as he rushed forward. He raised his left hand and whipped it forward, lashing the chain towards Kyo, but Kyo dodged it by flash stepping to the right. Just what I wanted! He quickly turned course towards Kyo and, in an instant, was in front of him. One quick slash of his blade made Kyo's blood spill on the floor. "Where is my brother, you worthless impostor?" Hatsuharu asked, but instead of an answer, he got a series of slashes from Due and more laughter. He managed to block the first few slashes, but a few got his arm. Kyo or not, he is a Vizard and he's using his Hollow powers, that's for sure. He thought as he considered donning his mask, but Raiya disproved of the plan in his head.

"Lex, behind you!" Sanosuke yelled as he slashed his staff forward, causing a tornado-like whip to lash out instantly. The Hollow's head, which landed behind Lex had started to float and was about to attack. Sanosuke's tornado hit it, causing it to fly back. "What the?" As he prepared to attack the snake head again, the snake's body started to sprout another head. The floating head followed suit as a new tail began to sprout.

 

ryusakon look at daichi in the eyes he did not said a word but the message was clear....what that hell are you trying to do you where to keep and eye on them... "what is your answer" he said to daichi

 

"I have no answer since you asked no question." Daichi said. Daichi kept a battle stance but did not attack. Although for Daichi this had to do with him not wanting to fully engage a teammate, he wasn't worried since many soul reapers held back simply to avoid unnecessary battle. "Seeing as you seem to be of Los Lobos, I do have a message. Tell the others what you have seen here. Other soul reapers have arrived and with them I will find you" Daichi hoped Ryusakon would be able to read through the lines here and get the true message. He hadn't needed to work with any member of Los Lobos under pressure so he wasn't sure how they would react.

 

Somerie was nearly caught off guard by the attack and almost had her sword drawn till her attacker had been put off course. She stood there unsure on what just happened, was she going to get attacked or not? So while the two bickered off on their conversation, completely ignoring her she decided it was time that she got in on this fight since she had been provoked. Somerie pulled her blade and in one lightning quick step a burst of blue fire engulfed the area around them in the shape of a perfect pentagram with them in the middle of it, then it began to spin making the fire even hotter.

 

ryusakon look at sumerie and rise his reiatsu freezing the area stooping her attack and withdraw shion and natsu and got the message daichi "well is that a challenge will be glad to kill all the soul reapers that come here but will you last here " after he said that he flash step out of there to and make his way to kyo and report what happen

 

Somerie looked unamused since her opponent had gone and also the ice that now covered the area worsened her mood. She sighed and clapped the side of her blade to the inside of her palm and spun the blade around at a high speed and then the flames returned and melted the ice into water that then evaporated into a thick cloud of steam.

 

With a flick of his wrist the original blade returned to Daichi's zanpakuto. "You don't owe me anything. You should never apologize for being cautious. I'm just glad that he showed up when he did. A fight with you would have been far too taxing on me considering the current predicament." He said as he sheathed his sword adding in his head, 'Besides, this has all been excellent data.' Daichi followed over to Somerie. "Truly sorry Ms. Hanazono. Had I not been here to distract Captain Zanshou you would have been better protected from the stealth attack."

 

Somerie only smiled a fake smile and slid her blade back into it's sheath and watched him approach, she couldn't trust him, to her he was a wolf in sheep's clothing, even if she did approach another unfamiliar soul reaper wearing a kimono just like hers she wouldn't attack, now matter how fun she thought it would be.
" I'm fine . . you two. . . just fine, we need to continue forward before something even more unexpected shows up."
She said as she locked her sleeves together and slid her hands inside again, a look full of suspcion upon her face as she jumped up into the air and landed on a branch above in the trees and turned around to speak to them.
"I will keep look out from above the trees if you still want to take the ground path, just to make sure nobody is sneaking up on us. If not, feel free to join me."

 

ryusakon was still ways to go but he wander will daichi be all right after sometime he get to kyo "kyo we got soul reaper coming here to fight."

 

" I will think that over sometime later, but not at this time. I have to keep watch and I need to focus."
She said as she jumped from branch to branch to the closest tree nesscery in order to keep up. Somerie kept silent not even talking a bit, listening in the empty, desolate forest for anything that may seem out of place.
"Whats the deal, he wasn't praising me this well earlier, he sure is a odd person alright, the man keeps changing his mind about everything."

 

Daichi tagged along at a middle height in the trees to try and fill in any gaps in Somerie's and Arashi's vision. Further more he tried to stay close to being at an even pace with them. People were generally less suspicious of someone in thier line of vision, but if he went ahead of them then it would look like he was taking leadership and taking leadership from a captain without being one yourself was unheard of. And of course he couldn't observe people behind him. The main thing that concerned Daichi in his plot was Ryusakon. If he misunderstood the situation then the rest of Los Lobos would receive the wrong information, which would hinder his reputation. This could easily be fixed with a Tenteikura, but he would need to find time alone for that and as it stood it could take days for that situation to come. But if he pushed for time alone it would make the two uneasy, defeating the point of him being there at all. There were no easy answers yet, but hopefully one would come before it was too late.
