~Bleach: War of the Masked~

Ryo took his chance and immediately jumped off the hollow's shoulder and into the air. As he was in the air he pointed his zanpakuto downwards and let gravity do the rest of the work as he fell downwards and stabbed the hollow in the forehead. "finished" Ryo muttered calmly as he put his legs on the hollow's face and pushed away, pulling out his zanpakuto as he did. He gently landed beside Lex and watched as the hollow's body fell

 

Soku watched the fighting from a distance mildly amused. he remembered his first time in Hueco Mundo and what he felt like back then.

He continued to over the look the scene, he had no intentions of fighting anymore than he had. "they need to get there feet wet" he thought to himself. "Hueco Mundo is hell the deeper you get in...and we are gonna have to go deep" he turned his head to admire the cresent moon hanging high in the night sky. when he felt what he had been waiting for...

"Soku" a voice spoke behind him. and as he turned around he saw his sister Yumi appear.

"Soku i have ran a 20 mile radius around where we entered Hueco Mundo...and i was unable to find any sort of clues...im sorry" she gave him a defeated look.

"its ok Yumi" he said and patted her on the shoulder " if they were out it the open we would have found them by now...we will find them."

she nodded and they walked towards the rest of the group who were finishing up there battles.

 

Shortly after the downfall of the hollow, 4 more Goat hollows appeared around Lex and Ryo.

How DARE you murder our brother! One of them growled.

Lex stared at them with confusion. "Brothers?...can Hollows have brothers?"

BIC: "I just the pack has arrived" Ryo said placing his zanpakuto over his shoulder and began tapping it on his shoulder as he observed the hollows ahead of him

 

"Well, let's take these hollows down" Lex said smiling. Lex summoned a gust of wind that separated the pack of Goat Hollows into two groups. "I'll take the ones on the left, you take the right, ok?" he said quickly. His Zanpakuto changed into its scale form. It was much longer and heavier than the feathered sword. Lex gripped the sword with both hands.

 

Somerie jumped down from outcrop, pulling her sword from her silk laden sheath and suddenly a rush of blue flame came descending from a area in the sky behind her and surrounded the hollows, when they tried to escaped the fire would smolder their feet, they were good at climbing and jumping through the rocky cliffs but they were not good at jumping over things unfamiliar to them, flames, the wind that Lex produced caused the fire to grow stronger.
" Hurry up quickly, now that they are cornered, hurry slice at their masks."
She said as she landed nearby Lex and Ryo, getting into a battle stance as she shot off again to take one of them down.

 

Sasuke Swiftly glanced back as he threw the empty bowl onto the ground of the Dangai. "He probably has something "interesting" in store for you if he called out a favour from me besides getting one of the lessers to give you the message" he said as he made what could be distinuished as a smile. He just stood in his position waiting for Negación to Pull him back to Hueco Mundo.

 

Accepted. But next time, wait until you're finished with the form before submitting it and wait until I accept it before posting as a new character. That goes for everyone.

"That's it!" Hatsuharu yelled as he unsheathed his Zankaputo. "I have a message for Kyo, then. Make sure you pass it along, noodles," he said as he flew forward, "Tell him I'm on my way to kill him!" He slashed Raiya forward, but he went straight through Sasuke as if he was a ghost. Once again, Hatsuharu couldn't breathe. It was as if he was falling through curtains. He could feel Yamata's spiritual pressure behind him, falling with him. Making sure not let go of his blade, he kept moving forward through the thick air.

"See you soon, little brother," a voice chuckled through the air, but Hatsuharu couldn't tell where it was coming from.

Count on it, the tattooed Vizard thought. "Holy-" was the only thing that escaped his mouth as he reached the end of the "curtains" and fell through the air. He managed to flip and land on his feet, landing on sand. "Where are we?" He asked as he looked around at the gray desert. It couldn't be...Hueco Mundo?

"I wish I didn't have to do this," Sanosuke admitted as he landed on top of the final Hollow's neck. "But you did attack us...and I am a Shinigami," he apologized as he brought his sword through the Hollow's neck. "I am sorry for invading your territory, it wasn't my intention. Now pass on," he said solemnly as he beheaded this Hollow as well. He looked up to see Soku talking to a girl with a badge. His Lieutenant?He thought as he fell to the sand as the Hollow faded away. Before he could ask, Hatsuharu's and Yamata's Spiritual Pressure appeared in the distance behind him, causing him to turn around. "Hatsu?"

 

Yamata Felt himself fall through the air but was prepared and landed on his feet. "Hueco Mundo...Always lovely this time of year, you can feel the energy in the air, quiet literally" he said as he looked to Hatsu. He finsihed his noodles and spoke "Next time, I don't care what someone says, that you lose it i will take you out of there. You mightn't have noticed it but at any moment during that conversation that Sasuke could've killed you and in some scenario's i wouldn't have been able to save you. I understand your a Vizard and are capable of great things even considering your power level but that guy was born a Vizard. He could've beaten you when he wasn't even a shinigami let alone what he can do now after many years of his powers growing" he slaps Hatsu at the left side of the head. It was an annoying gesture but one he'd understand."Be more careful next time...".

 

Ryo stood there unflinchingly as the fire surrounded them and clenched the handle of his Zanpakuto with his right hand and jumped forward slashing the hollow's face and immediately turned around and slashed the second hollow that tried to sneak attack him from behind

 

Somerie finished off her chosen Hollow, leaving only one left after Ryo took down a couple others. The beast only growled and looked as if he were going to charge again but this time he looked left and right and scuttled off back up the rocks and over the cliff of rock out of sight. Somerie however wasn't sure if the hollow had just given up or was scared away by something worse. She did not sense anything nearby that could scare the goat-like hollow away so she shrugged and began walking down the road, shaking off the incident as if it were small a nuisance as to tie one's shoe.
" Do any of you sense any familiar spiritual pressures? I don't think they landed too far from us especially judging by the location of the entry point."
She said as a small lizard-like hollow the size of a cat crawled up atop a boulder and watched them as they went by, it knew well it wasn't wise to attack such people after witnessing them taking down that pack of goat hollows, but it still seemed curious and began following them. Somerie didn't notice it's presence though since it's spiritual pressure was so low.

 

Lex stabbed the ground with his scale sword. Immediately, four boulders rose to the sky, then came back down crushing the remaining hollow. He turned to Lieutenant Somerie. "No I have not...." responded Lex. He then lowered his head and lost himself in his own thoughts.

 

Soku and Yumi flashstepped closer to the rest of the group.

"Alright everyone, i think we have had enough fun here...we all have a job to do...so lets get on with it"

 

Naoto perked an eyebrow and stood up straight as soon as she felt her captain's spiritual pressure, along with Hatsuharu's. She momentarily closed her eyes before opening them once more to look around, seeing the last bit of hollows leave. She sighed out, sheathing her zanpakuto as she stepped closer towards the ground. At least those hollows didn't stick around for too long. Naoto looked towards thegirl that had suddenly arrived, but quickly realized she had a badge of a vice captain. Didn't think they sent so many people on this mission.

 

"Don't you dare talk down to me," Hatsuharu said angrily as he took a step towards Yamata. "You think that poor excuse for a Shinigami could kill me?" Normally Hatsu wouldn't have talked back to a Captain and would have responded to such words with sarcasm, but heeded the advice nonetheless, but his brother's involvement in this situation set him off. "You have no idea what I'm capable of," he told Yamata as a faint screech started building up in his voice, the sign of his Hollowfication. In the back of his mind, he could sense Sanosuke's presence and others. He could also hear Raiya trying to calm him down, like she normally did when he started acting rash. "I will take down my brother and if your Captain gets in my way, he's going down, too," Hatsuharu's fist was clenched as his other one returned his blade to its sheath. "Let's find the others," he then said quietly as he turned around. As he started walking, he immediately knew he shouldn't have said those things, but still did not regret them. I'll apologize later, he promised to himself, even though he knew the apology would be half-hearted. That wasn't very smart, you know, Raiya told him silently. Shut up, bird, was Hatsu's reply.

Behind him, in the opposite direction of Hatsu, Sanosuke could sense Somerie. He didn't even begin to think that his Lieutenant would have arrived in Hueco Mundo as well. What's going on here?He wondered to himself. He moved his head from left to right, wondering which way to go. "Let's stay here for now," he ordered everyone. "It seems Captain Noorochi and Ha-I mean, Lieutenant Tiburon survived and made it here," he motioned his head to the left, "My Lieutenant's group also seem to be here," he motioned to the right, "Since we're in the middle, it's best to let them come to us." As he finished talking, he resheathed his blade and watched the Hollows leave, wasting no extra thought on them. "Is this your Lieutenant?" He asked Soku, but didn't look at him, his eyes still on the fleeing Hollows.

"Hehe," Virem couldn't help but giggle as he looked down from the dark sky of Hueco Mundo. His Spiritual Pressure was completely hidden, only a select few among Los Lobos had the ability to detect it. Directly below him was a large group of Shinigami who had just finished fighting some Hollows. "That one...he looks like he's in charge!" He exclaimed, pointing at Sanosuke. He spun in mid-air, turning upside and looked at Somerie's group. "Ooo~ She's pretty, huh, Bradnias?" He inquired aloud to his Zanpakuto, which remained silent. He then turned his head to look at Hatsuharu and Yamata. "And that must be Kyo's brother!" He said excitedly. "I guess Sasuke did what Kyo told him to already!" His words were aimed at his Zanpakuto, but the spirit couldn't care less about Sasuke's message or who was in charge or who was pretty. Enough! Bradnias yelled in his head. Forget Kyo's message, let's tear them into pieces! The Zanpakuto yelled, thirsty for blood. "Alright!" Virem replied anxiously as he spun around and grabbed his hilt as his eyes turned a dark red with black pupils. He pulled out his blade just a few inches and fell a few feet before stopping immediately. "Actually..." he said, saddened as he pulled his blade back and floated higher into the air. "Kyo told us not to make contact with them yet..." Bradnias roared in his head, angry that it was so close to feeding. "Maybe next time, Bradnias!" Virem said cheerfully as he disappeared into thin air.

 

"Lets just hope you'll of the power necessary to defeat them by the next time you confront them" he smiled as he body flickers behind him and touches the hilt of his blade just to take his hand off it straight away. "When you can stop me from doing that, then you might stand a chance" He said to Hatsu. He breathed in one big gulp of the air feeling lightly more energetic."So i can feel some of the teams Reiatsu in the air...since the wind is blowing from the South i suggest we start there" He told him...

Sasuke had gotten his usual lift and put himself on what he called "Hollow Canyon". It was about 1KM long, the site of many a hollow on hollow battle. It was a canyon in which he intentionally released Reiatsu so that Hollows would swarm to it and try and eat the source. He didn't release enough to kill hollows just enough to get them to swarm. He Was at the highest point at which you could look down on the canyon to what could be mistaken for a swarm of insects as they walk and crawl over each other. The sronger hollows were at the bottom eating what came down..."Poor Souls" he muttered without a semblance of sympathy. Suddenly Sasuke let out what seemed like a sort of Hollow like roar directly into the air and a Cero comes from his chest and destroy's the chunk of cliff below his feet, taking out a clump of hollows directly under him.His Expression hadn't changed "None of you are right" he said as the Zanputou on his back changed to his Shikai and his body became engulfed in flames...

 

"mmhmmm" said Soku also staring at the Hollows.

"she is also my sister so you better be nice" he said with a playful grin

Yumi made a face "SOKU!" she yelled "this isn't the time for that crap"

Soku couldn't help but smile, and he had to. if he didn't he would let everyone know what he was thinking. that this whole thing was starting to look very bad. why couldn't they feel anything other than normal hollows? a giant group of shinigami pop up in Hueco Mundo and nothing? he was starting to get a nasty feeling in the pit of his stomach. the feeling you get right before a huge storm

"Soku" Yumi said softly, " i know your nervous, but if a Captain shows his fear it wont look good for everyone else"

"i know i know, but you also know that i am very good at Kido, so my ability to sense things is a lot higher than your average captain, and i feel nothing Yumi"

"give it a little more time, the spell probably hasn't taken its full effect yet"

Yumi was talking about the new type of Kido Soku was working on in secret. this new Kido was suppose to (in theory) merge with ones ability to sense spiritual pressure and amplify that to be able to sense not only very small traces, but different kinds as well.

"Maybe its not working Yumi...i knew is shouldn't have tested it during an important mission like this" Soku's face fell slightly.

"Give it time" Yumi said as she placed her hand on her brothers shoulder.

 

Somerie barely even flinched when Captain Arashi made his appearance. She acknowledged his entrance quietly as she paced a little bit past him, sliding her blade back into it's sheath since the battle with the goat hollows wasn't so long ago. Somerie then stopped and turned to face him, watching him observe the sky above.
" So, Captain , since you are still a live and kicking does that mean the others are doing well? Us three are the only ones that fell into the same location together."
She said as she waited patiently and attentively for his answer, but when he changed the subject to the luminous beauty in the sky she thought nothing.
" Indeed, when the sky sheds her veil of day for the cloak of night, it makes the hollows more active. Either it provides them better advantages with hunting, provided at night or maybe even how beastly they are even hollows enjoy such a gem."
