~Bleach: War of the Masked~

Daichi instinctively closed his eyes tight at Raitoburaindo, hating the fact that he now had a few seconds where he couldn’t see what was happening. True he had his other senses trained well enough to still have a good idea, but he hated missing any amount of data. However there were more pressing matters to attend to. The fact that Arashi was able to do such a move meant that Masa was having trouble with Sanosuke. Daichi placed a hand on his sword and waited for the moment the light faded enough to attack. Once it did Daichi flashstepped behind Sanosuke to perform a Senka. It wasn’t perfect since his vision wasn’t entirely back nor was his flashstep at the prime level to pull it off. But he was working with the element of surprise. Furthermore Daichi had sheathed his blade without sealing it so it now charged with fire from the strike on Ryukason. He doubted he would pull off an effective Senka in these conditions but it was an excellent method for pulling off a backstab anyway.

 

Somerie braced herself for impact as the man suddenly made a move to inflict his blade's torment upon her. Running forth she charged towards him as if in a joust, her blade out at her hip and reflecting the light deep within it's blade of mirror and glinted. With one quick and sharp move, Somerie collided with him. The thin edge of her sword glowing blue with power as it came in contact with the blood dripping from the man's sword, causing it to fly out in different directions. Somerie however, who did not know the full extent of Virem's powers or would not want to find out tried to avoid getting the blood on her body.

 

Kyo's mouth erupted into a horrifying, deep, roaring laugh as he brought his right hand back, slashing Arashi's hand. He then let go of Arashi's sword and stepped forward, not flinching as his opponent's Zanpakuto left his body. He turned around as white particles started gathering around his face, centering around his pitch blue eyes. "Is that it, Captain?" He asked, curiously as he tilted his head to the left. He raised one sword as the wound on his chest closed up within seconds. "I'm disappointed, really, but...there's no doubt it. You're something else," And with that, he slashed Arashi's chest. It wasn't a fatal blow, just enough to stop him from fighting from now on. Arashi had piqued his interest, he wasn't going to kill him...not yet. "Now for my little brother..." Before Hanzo could find out if his attack would have been blocked, dodged, or if it would have landed on Hatsu, Kyo had appeared in between them blocking both their swords with his two. "He's mine now," he whispered as his mask finally finished forming without a single finger raised to his head. "Take care of the new guppies," he ordered Hanzo as he gestured to Ryo, Lex, and the two girls that had appeared with them.

Hatsuharu was confused. He hadn't much time to react to Hanzo's attack, but he had still tried to slash in response, only to have Kyo appeared, hollowfied, armed, and blocking their attacks. "Kyo!" He yelled, his actual target was finally his opponent. He screeched as he poured Spiritual Energy into his sword, despite it still being sealed, it was going to cut his brother.

Daichi's sword cut through Sanosuke's robe as an expression of shock appeared on his face. However, moments later, Sanosuke's entire body faded away when he showed up behind Daichi. "Not expecting Utsusemi, were you?" Sanosuke grinned as he asked Daichi. He felt a sharp pain throughout his body after using Utsusemi as he wasn't too experienced in it. Maybe I should stick to Shunpo... he thought as he slashed his sealed blade at his new opponent. He knew he was at a disadvantage, having journeyed through Hueco Mundo, fought a Hollow, and then a Vizard, only to fight another Vizard, but he had to save Captain Sohma.



Kyuzo barely had time to react, slashing both blades forward. He sent more sand up to slow down the spears as he blocked them with his now-quartzed blades, but one of the spears impaled him, just over his right shoulder. "Ugh!" He yelled as he jumped away, breaking the spear against the wall. The disadvantage of having two swords is not having a free hand, he realized as part of the spear remained in his shoulder. Not wanting to show pain, he grinned at Ryukason. "Is that all you got?"





The girl actually caught Virem off guard as she tackled him. Oh...she's something else! He thought happily. He would have to savor his battle with her and not kill her too quickly. He tried to counter attack, but his attack was blocked by a newcomer: Soku. "Get away, she's my opponent!" He yelled as horns appeared on his head. Moments later, a full Hollow mask was there as he disappeared. Before anyone else could notice where he went, his sword was sticking through Soku's heart. "And I'm hers," he growled as he pulled it away. The Captain's eyes became lifeless and his body fell to the ground. Shouldn't have let your guard down around us, Virem thought, in tune with Bradnias.



Naoto and Yuki both entered the room behind Lex and Ryo, after being separated from each other for so long. Just as she entered, Yuki saw her brother being brutally cut down by Virem. "Soku!" She yelled, distraught.


OOC: So I guess we're all stealing Arch's "~Hollowfication Post" system xD Anyway, that's one character that needs to be killed off...killed off..albeit in a hurried and sloppy post

Sanosuke's captain haori turned to ash due to the flame properties that Tetsujin currently possessed. Since Daichi only managed to hit an image and not Sanosuke himself, Tetsujin still held the fire attribute. "Clever. I didn't think you were paying enough attention to notice me." Daichi stood still and stared at Sanosuke for a moment. Was it worth using his Bankai? It would be a good chance to obtain a great amount of data at once, but he would also be granting the enemy information about him that could be useful as a surprise later. Although Daichi believed he was above the Seireitei the difference wasn't so vast that he could beat a Bankai with a Shikai. But then again he couldn't remember Sanosuke's Bankai in the records. Did he not have one or did he choose not to use it? "Bankai" Seven snakes materialized around the hilt of the Zanpakuto and coiled their way up Daichi's forearm before finally sinking their fangs into his arm near the elbow. Simultaneously the blade lost the fire element and morphed into the new shape for the Bankai. The blade's material crumbled to dust leaving behind the glassy form, the dust then recollected on the other side of the hilt and formed the dual blade. Daichi closed his eyes for a bit longer than a standard blink and when they reopened he had snake eyes "Kanzen Chishiki no Tetsujin" Daichi said with a slight hiss. The final decision was mostly to end the mental debate so he could focus.

OOC: I just changed the name of my Bankai slightly for better grammar. It's nearly identical though (the only word added being "no")

Ryokason saw how he was acting wanting to show pain, "tell me how long have you train you not good whit two sword" Ryokason said to him mocking him he turn one blade upside down and pointed at him " i hope you can live from this attack oh to be clear i still don control it well" the energy gathering around Ryokason what getting heavier and dense "zero wrath flame came out from his back the flame was not hot but ice cold and attack Kyuzo and all the surrounding place attack was sent to all direction to all people around friend or enemy did not mater

Somerie gasped in horror when captain's attempt to stop the man wasn't enough. The blade went through his flesh as if it were air but his fall wasn't as light, it was a loud thump against the ground that shook Somerie's heart and for a moment she felt numb and shocked at seeing this man, a man of his status be struck down so quickly. Somerie grit her teeth in disbelief as she gripped the sheath of her zampaktou and ran forward with a feisty advance.
" You are going to pay for befalling a captain so dishonorably like that !!! Prepare to get burnt alive !!"
She said as she waved her blade through the air and it caught fire with a smoldering bright blue as the air around began to change in humidity, making the air become wavy. She brought her blade down stronger then she ever tried before and clashed with him again and began pushing him back.

Ryukason grinned zero wrath went berserk attacking Kyo,sumerie,virem,daichi " guys watch it a lost control of my attack again get out of the way" this was not the first time that happen when he was training whit los lobos it happen too

 

Hanzo stopped just as he felt his blade make contact with Kyo's. As if the sword knew its owner's commander the teeth on his zanpakuto stopped moving and he planted his feet on the ground in full stop. "Yes sir!" He replied to Kyo before seemingly disappearing again and standing in the middle of the battleground scanning for opponents. Her! Kill her! The one who just entered...haha her friend just got slaughtered, she should be easy pickings! Kill her and feed me! Almost automatically Hanzo craned his neck towards Yuki, his eyes narrowing in satisfaction. He darted towards her with more force than ever, a small wind left behind him. He blew past Masa in a flash. "You killed the other, this one's mine!" He said cockily before stopping in front of Yuki bringing up loose earth with his sudden stop.

Yes, kill! Kill Kill Kill! Hanzo smiled insanely and found himself chanting along with his zanpakuto. "Kill..." He said softly before he pulled back his sword quickly and grabbed the hilt with both hands. His tongue hung out of his mouth, he was dying for contact. "Eat! Eat! Eat!" Each time he said this the teeth of his zanpakuto moved faster and faster, whirring loudly. He whooped loudly and pushed the blade forward with all his power, stabbing straight for her gut. At first the contact was rough, what with the blade's teeth sawing away at her flesh. But then it was smooth and easy, like wet tissue paper. He tore through her gut and pulled the sword back out, causing a nice spray of blood and other..."chunks". He pulled back again and thrusted stabbing her again in her chest. Her spiritual energy flowed into him quickly and blood coated the blade. He pulled the sword out once more and flicked it off onto her corpse, the blade once again being clean. "That was fun wasn't it?" He said to Masa, tilting his head.

Release me, hurry! Raiya demanded of Hatsuharu as she made contact with Due. The shark had been her rival ever since Kyo defected, but she felt different when meeting his blade. "RAIYA! Surge into the heart of the fearful!" Hatsuharu yelled and his blade erupted with electricity as it changed from a steel color to a golden one and a chain erupted from the bottom of the hilt. "You're finally mine!" He told his brother as he slashed, but missed when Kyo backflipped away laughing. "Come here!" He slashed again, the chain flying towards Kyo. Right now, there was no other people in the room. Just Kyo and Hatsu. Brother and brother.

"This old move? Again?" Kyo asked. One of his brother's favorite moves was to use the chain to bring his opponent closer. Kyo simply jumped over the chain. He was pleased to see it make contact with the wall. Before Hatsu could pull it away, Kyo ran forward and slammed Due's tip into one of the chain links, using it like a stake to keep the chain in place. "Are you going to let me rid you of another Captain?" Kyo asked with a grin as water poured from his crossguard and covered the chain. The water fell into each of the chain links that it covered and burrowed into the wall before turning to ice, keeping Hatsu's chain in place. Letting go of that one sword, Kyo ran forward again, slashing his other blade. "I guess you really don't care about your Captains, huh, Hatsu!?"

"Maybe you didn't notice the haori," Sanosuke grinned as he waved one hand over his attire. "I'm a Captain. You have to do better than that to catch me off guard," he told his new opponent. His body still ached due to using such an advanced level of hoho, but he didn't have a choice at the moment. He could feel the spiritual pressure of three disappear behind him. Damn! Were those my guys? He wondered. Deciding he had to end this quick, he waved his Zanpakuto in a circle. "Say good morning, Miroku!" He yelled as his sword turned into its staff form again. It was a gamble, but he had hoped he cut down Masa enough to release his shikai again. Once Daichi got his Bankai out, Sanosuke became worried, but his face didn't show a single trace of it. "Do I worry you so that you're bringing out your bankai? I don't need bankai to finish you," He said, albeit in a nice tone. Truth was, he didn't have one. His own Lieutenant did as she was supposed to be his own Captain's replacement, but he beat her in a duel and took the position for himself. His comment was a bluff as he didn't deny or confirm having a bankai, just that he didn't need one to finish Daichi...or so he hoped. "Well...I'm tired of snakes. I'm unimpressed!" He yelled as he whipped his staff behind him, assuming a battle position.


No! In a rare moment of nobility and heroics, Kyuzo flashed stepped behind Ryukason when he initiated Zero Wrath. He dropped his swords as he tackled his opponent from the back. Kyuzo successfully managed to draw the entire attack to himself. Unfortunately, his body couldn't take it. "Damn it, you...freaking...vizard..." He whispered as he fell backwards, dead.





"Why are you angry?" Virem asked, confused as Somerie attacked him. He could feel the heat as he was pushed back. He could have easily blocked, dodged, and counterattacked, but he was caught off guard by her anger. He stared at her through his mask before asking, "He wasn't your Captain, was he?!" He realized that might be why she was angry. "I'm sorry! I didn't know! I should have killed you first so you wouldn't have had to see your Captain die! But he was rude!" He was being pushed farther and farther away from Sohma's, whom he was supposed to be guarding. "He interrupted us!" With every hit of Somerie's blade against his, blood splattered to the floor, but his blade didn't seem to lose any red cover. He could hear Bradnias begging him to stop apologizing and kill her already, but Virem didn't want to kill the pretty girl while she was angry. "Stop attacking me!" He yelled suddenly as a Cero started charging in front of his lips.

Virem fired a normal Cero from his mouth with a roar. It flew straight at Somerie. She shouldn't be mad at me! He interrupted us! He thought as the Cero escaped his mouth. However, before it could hit her, the Cero split in half as if it had hit something else, and both halves flew by Somerie. It only took a second for the prodigy to figure out someone else was interfering, but he wasn't sure who. "She is my opponent!" He yelled angrily. "Leave us alone!" Once again, he flew towards Somerie, waving his sword at her.

" Arashi, please stop don't try and defend me, get out of here before he harms Captain Sohma and maybe you as well !!"
She said desperatly trying to keep Virem's attacks at bay with every possibly defence she could put up. Somerie felt a strange feeling of rage building up inside of her everytime she took a swing at the man. Once again on the ground beneath the two, the blue pentagram appeared but this time it seemed to be spinning out of control, stirring up the air between them as suddenly the pentagram exploded in a rage of fire that rose up all the way into a cyclone formation.
"Somerie you idiot !! Control your rage. . .!! Somerie . . .!!"
Screamed her Aozora Onee in her mind as the explosion created by the burst of power sent Somerie flying back into the wall behind her, causing a crater in the wall behind her.

"Oh now i see if she get angry she lose control of her power she is truly like flame uncontrollable" Ryokason stab his swords on the ground freezing somerie feet to the flood " virem stop she already loss control of her power she can't fight anymore now let take that guy to Kyo so i can change my clothesplease" he look at him whit big poppy eye "pleashh virem let go let train so you can show my how to use bankai and cero please" he try to get virem to stop fighting her she was a good opponent to fight him a full power.

Yamata had survived Sasukes attack "Mustn't want me dead yet" he thought as he looked at his fried arm from Sasukes attack..."The fourth will have fun with this one" he thought as he panted...

3/4 of Sasukes Hollow mask had been taken out along with breaking numerous bones in his left arm...but he was still strong. High speed generation would fix that soon...He and Yamata were face to face in the aftermath...He had definitely chosen well in picking him as his successor....

His Zanpukuto had just came back to him as Sasuke had used sonido to come right in front of him and grabbed him by the face and threw him back into the swallowing abyss that was the battles of his comrades. As he fell to earth he almost went head first into Virem except he twisted slightly to miss him and land on his feet. Sasuke had followed him down flaming blade beared. With his good arm fried he had to bad hand this one. He flipped his blade to his other hand and it grew in length to almost impaling Sasukes heart as he beared down on him.

As Sasuke came down, he drew his palm across his face to recover the rest of his mask. As Yamata's blade came out to meet him, he spun out of the way and sent a burning slash down on top of Yamata, but where Yamata had stood there was an ever burning scar.

"This is interesting to say the least" he said to Sasuke as he panted standing just meters from where virem and Somerie were fighting. "Keep it up Somerie" he smiled with a smudge of blood from his fried arm, which he had lifted with much anguish to brush away sweat, obscured made his hair seem like it had red highlights.

 

OOC: Yes it was, but no relation to the song. I was just listening through the album at the time and it was a nice description.

The snakes started tensing into a tighter and tighter coil around Daichi's arm "Any battle to the death between two captains should come to this" Daichi stated purposefully implying a position as captain despite being a lieutenant when he defected. "Come now. Surely you've saved you Bankai for such a time as this? Not only are you in combat with multiple formidable opponents, but if you fail to act quickly your colleagues will die. Three have died already. I would of thought you someone to have cast off restraint by now." Daichi held the blade up horizontally in his battle stance so that he could easily attack with either side. Daichi had no vested interest in the battle and didn't care how long it took to end. He only stepped in because Masa was too drained to continue.

 

With Ryo prepared to fight and his new allied comming from behind, Ryo ran forward ready to engage in battle but immediately stopped the moment he head the sound of blood spilling behind him. Stunned, Ryo slowly looked behind him to see the two girl soul reapers being slain. With great anger he looked over at the two soul reapers responsible for their deaths. "damn you" Ryo yelled as he drew his zanpakuto "Arise Bukishukun" Seth commanded as his zanpakuto disappeared and reappeared as a pair of Jet-black gauntlets that covered Ryo's hands. He immediately ran forward towards the two assailants
