~Bleach: War of the Masked~

Daichi was envious of Kyo. Kyo had found more information about Arashi in a few short minutes than Daichi had all day. Granted Daichi had been aiming to get more knowledge over time and was cut severely short by Kyo's call. Sanosuke's presence didn't pose enough of a threat for Daichi to join the fight, but it was enough that Daichi moved casually into the middle of the fight scene. He was prepared to dodge with flashsteps if necessary but he had calculated his route to minimize the risk of that. Should the favor turn against the currently fighting members of Los Lobos, Daichi would then be positioned to enter the fight again without a moment's reprieve.

 

" Oh great, of all people it had to be the sadistic and perverse psychopath guarding Sohma-san, I should of just stayed and fought alongside of the others. . oh well none of that matters now. . "
She thought to herself quietly and then shook her bangs out of her eyes and looked over at Virem with a determined look.
" My name is Somerie Hanazono, Lieutenant of squad eight, I hope your bite is better then your barking."
she said with a cheerful smile as she held her own zampaktou in front of her, the wind began to pick up as she readied for battle, moving her long hair through the air.
" I have come to save Captain Sohma from your grasp. I intend not to kill you, but remember I will do whatever it takes to get the man back safely."

 

OOC: Like mixt said it's a zanpakuto ability that allows my blade to take elements from the surroundings and use it as an attack. Hitokuchi means bite and it's almost like it's taking a bite of the ground. Lol, hope that makes sense.

Hanzo smirked back at Hatsu as he felt himself regaining Spiritual energy. "Yes, eat Beast! Eat!" He yelled out. At this call the jagged edges on both ends of the sword started to move. The front edges moved downwards, while the back ones moved upwards just like a chain. The edges on the blade began to move incredibly fast just like a chainsaw, making sparks fly from the blades grinding against Hatsu's own sword. "Still cocky now, boy?" He laughed maniacally, sparks flying past his face. He pushed his arms out, unlocking the blades and breaking from Hatsu's embrace. Hanzo then used his back foot once again to push off of the spike and follow after Hatsu, this time launching his right leg to kick Hatsu.

 

OOC: Oh, I only remembered the ability to drain spiritual energy so I assumed it was a kido but couldn't find it in the bleach wiki. That explains why xD that's fine.
BIC:

Masa's Cero flew through the center of Sanosuke's attack. It dispelled the tornado, but slowed down in the process. Sanosuke retaliated by raising Miroku in defense. The slowed Cero hit Miroku's handle, pushing Sanosuke back and sending smoke everywhere, but it didn't injury him too much. "Heh, you're right," he told Masa as the smoke cleared, spinning Miroku over his head, "But it'll be your body!" He couldn't help but grin as he got excited. He could see Kyo fighting his fellow Captain, but worried about that later. Up ahead was Captain Sohma, being guarded by a red-headed Shinigami about to fight his Lieutenant. Red Shinigami...is that the first Squad's... He had heard stories of the famed prodigy who defected from the First Squad with Los Lobos. "Somerie, be careful!" He yelled, only to be interrupted by a voice in his head. His mask broke! We're on even terms now, Sanosuke, Miroku told him. "Get ready to bow down before me, Vizard!" Sanosuke yelled at Masa as he twirled his weapon around. Masa wasn't wearing a Captain's haori, so Sanosuke should have the upperhand, considering his Captain status, despite his lack of a bankai. "Here I come!" He flew forward, twirling Miroku quickly so the bladed tip was facing Masa.




"Damn it!" Hatsuharu yelled as he realized his opponent's Zanpakuto's abilities. I guess it'll have to be long distance for this fight! When Hanzo kicked him, he spun around, wrapping an arm around his leg. Without wasting a single second, he raised his right hand to his face, still holding Raiya. He unfolded two fingers, making them touch the corner of his forehead. "Damn right, I'm still cocky! And I'll stay cocky when I," he pulled down, revealing his purple and white Hollow mask, his pupils turning purple as well, "Kick your corpse out of my way!" A screeching undertone was heard beneath his voice as he continued spinning and let go, sending Hanzo into the air. Hatsu fell from the air himself, but raised his left hand to his face. "Take this!" His hand flashed red once before he lunged it forward, sending his own fast Cero towards Hanzo as he fell towards the ground.

"It's alright," Virem smiled at Somerie as he raised his elbow to his face so his blade was pointing down behind him, "I'll kill you before you kill me." He bent his right knee and locked his left one, sliding out, giving him a strange battle position. "But it is nice to meet you, Ms. Hanazono!" Virem grinned, he actually meant that it was nice to meet her, even though he every intent in killing her and would feel no remorse whatsoever. "My name is Virem Viral! Former Third-Seat of the First Division! I was going to be Captain Commander eventually, you know?" He said it, hoping to impress her. "And this is Bradnias, he's the one that's going to..." without warning, he flew forward, not changing his polite tone as he brought down his blade, "Drink your blood!"





Kyo's clothes were cut again and he jumped back, revealing a slight scratch on his stomach. "I have to say, I wasn't expecting that," he said, shrugging as he raised Due in front of him. He held the blade straight and forward, parallel to the ground, with both hands. "You have no more Hollow mask? What a shame, what a shame, oh Captain, my Captain," he jested as his body began to glow blue. "But two swords? Not fair at all. Here, let me level the playing field!" His spiritual energy extended from his arms to envelop his entire blade. "Due, why don't you...RIP TO SHREDS!" In an instant, the blade's grew out, perpendicular to itself, making it a long T-shaped blade, with the top part of the T being the tip. Kyo spread his arms out as the blade blurred, becoming two, one in each hand. "What do you say to that, Captain?"

OOC: Haven't been on for awhile but then again thats life XD
As Yamata Entered there was chaos. Fight after fight after fight had broken, he wanted to finish off the fight with Virem and was about to make his way to strike him until Sasuke appeared directly in front of his face with something that very few people see....happy confidence. As Yamata Attempted to draw his blade, Sasuke, with the flick of his wrist sent his Zanpukuto and Sasuke slammed the palm of his hand into Yamatas forehead and slammed Yamata's Head into the ceiling.

As Sasuke felling down to the ground he said "I'm afraid it is time for a battle of killer intent my friend" he stated as he drew his blade when Yamata appeared behind him and a pillar of ice was rampaging at him but Sasuke swiftly drew his hand down in front his face to create a hollow mask and with the palm of his hand crush the pillar."Lets get started" his hollowifed voice echoed through the place in an exceedingly dark voice. He drew his Zanpukuto. "Cry Futsu-Nushi-No-Kami" he said as black flames caught to the air around him and his blade changed

Yamata jumped back from Sasuke and immediately said "Roar Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi!" as his blade changed slightly to become something slightly smaller. "I agree, lets do this" he exclaimed as he jumped into the air and suddenly his blade was the size of a skyscraper which broke the ceiling open directly above Sasuke. "DIE!" he roared as he slammed the blade down on top of Sasuke. An eruption of sand flew everywhere...

...all of sudden out of the giant cloud left from the colossal attack Sasukes Zanpukuto is driven into the skyscraper like zanpukuto and runs up the blade as flames burn the air in a spectacular black. As he reaches Yamata he draws back his blade and sends a torrent of black flames at him...

"You wish..." said yamata as he grabs Sasukes head from the side and slams in against the wall...

"I beg to differ..." said Sasuke and he uses sonido to appear behind him and grab him by the leg and throws him out of the opening he created and launches an enormous Cero after him.

 

OOC: It's fine, daxma xD but where is the ice in your post coming from? I didn't see anything like that in neither Yamata's nor Sasuke's abilities.


BIC:
Kyo didn't flinch as Arashi charged him, simply turning into the side to dodge the first attack and then effortlessly swinging his blade upwards to block the stab. "How fast are you?" He asked. Without waiting for an answer, he brought one blade down hard, hoping to stab Arashi with the horizontal tip like an ax. The other blade, the one in his left, started to drip water from its cross guard.


There was a metallic clang as Sanosuke's blade tip was deflected by Masa's own sword. Quick with his reflexes, Sanosuke jumped back and spun Miroku again, but felt his Spiritual Pressure decreasing. "What the-?" He looked at his hand and saw Miroku was sealed again. I see...so that's his ability? He realized instantly. This is bad, let's hope that's all he can do...He thought as he grabbed his hilt with both hands. "That's just fine," Sanosuke said, not showing a single hint of his confidence wavering, "What's a wind going to do anyway? I'll just stick to the old fashioned way of fighting...for instance," he flashed stepped forward, appearing above Masa with his blade over his head. "I'll just cut you in half, bro!" He brought the blade down with all his strength.



The third seat of the seventh squad, Kyuzo Benkei, finally made his way into the prison room where everyone was fighting. He had been separated by his group during the sand Hollow attack and had follow Kyo's roar to this room. "What's going on?" The blonde shinigami asked silently as he watched everyone fight. "It's pure chaos in here..."

"What are you waiting for?" A voice behind him asked. Sixth-division Captain Soku Nakamara walked out of the tunnel shortly after him. "It seems both of us were separated from everyone," he said as he drew his blade. "Standing around isn't going to help anything. Be an asset, not a liability," Soku looked around for his own opponent and his eyes fell on red-hair. Behind the Shinigami, he recognized his fellow Captain, Lanan Sohma, hanging from the wall. His red-haired guard was fighting Somerie, Sanosuke's lieutenant from earlier. Red hair? From the first squad...Just like Sanosuke, Soku remembered the stories about Virem. Realizing he might be too much for Somerie, he rushed to her side to help.


OOC: Black Star and mixt, either one of you can attack Kyuzo, but one of you should. I'll post as two more people who need to fight and have no one controlling them soon. Also, everyone, since you're fighting, be sure to not godmod. And check your opponent's abilities in the OC thread's first post to make sure they're not doing anything too godmoddish. It's hard keeping up with my own fights xD (all...six of them now...?)

 

Ryusakon saw Kyuzo and lunch ice spears at him at high speed "well let see if he can doges them."

 

OOC: The ice was a kidou he had used against the Sand Menos just previously.
Yamata corrected himself and enlarged his blade again to slash the Cero in half. Yamata felt the moon of Hueco Mundo washing him in its light. Yamata took notice for a second but in that second Sasuke already came soaring at him.

Sasuke soared out into the open and drew back his blade to slash it up in a flurry of black fire which lashed out at Yamata. At the same time Sasuke used Sonido to get directly behind Yamata. He grabbed Yamata as he blocked the flames with his blade and he threw him into the sand. As Yamata hit the sand with a thump Sasuke slashed a giant black fireball down ontop of Yamata. "Just a little bit more" Sasuke thought....

Yamata used Shunpo to dodge the giant fireball who's flames were untamable. Yamata Raised his blade above his head and its lengths increased along with its size. It towered into the sky as a testament to its own existence. Yamata made one lash down so swift and so fast it would've been hard to believe it avoidable, but and Yamata knew, this was Sasuke he was fighting. Sasuke stood away with a cut down the middle of Sasuke's face and half of Sasukes mask was gone. He was beat...he'd have to rip out his trump card now. Clouds roared in the sky where the moon usually hung..."Lets see if we live to fight again Sasuke" he told him.

"I agree" said Sasuke as he swiped his hand across his face and the piece of his mask which he had lost reappeared. "Let us see who deserves their life over the other" he said as he raised his blade into the air and the clouds roared out at Yamata as if to warn him of the impending attack. "I've never tried this particular attack while hollowified so this should be interesting" he said as he drew blade his blade. Both were hundreds of feet from the ground with the wind whipping around their faces.

Yamata felt a spike of fear in facing Sasuke but thats what he wanted. it would mean that he would stay alive in a battle with him. Yamata threw his blade directly up into the air and shouted "Crush him, Yamata no Orochi!!!" he said to his now irritated Zanpukuto and it grew to the size of a small town and came down onto Sasuke as Yamata felt Sasukes attack...

 

My post got erased because of this stupid laptop so I"ll post it again later xD
but daxma, please put the name of the kido you use in the post you use it. That's so I can make sure no one makes something up.
And edit your post. Itto Kaso is too strong a Kido and it's "forbidden." Besides, I don't mind the Eleventh-Squad Captain using Kido in here, but not something like that.

 

Lex's eyes changed and looked similar to snake eyes. He stood up slowly and stared straight ahead in a trance-like manner. Suddenly, his eyes changed back and his spiritual energy turned back to normal. What...happened to me? Lex asked himself. You shed your spiritual energy. Serpiente responded. Shed? You mean...like a snake sheds its skin? Serpiente laughed. Yes, shed...you shed your old spiritual energy into new spiritual energy. You are back to how you were before entering Hueco Mundo. Oh... Lex said with disappointment. This usually only happens when you are critically injured, but don't worry..the techniques we used in the battle with the hollow will come back slowly. Lex turned to Ryo. "Thanks for guarding me, but I feel much better...and ready to fight."

 

Kyo pulled his blade down, cutting Arashi's shoulder, as he stepped away. He swung both blades around his hands, simply for aesthetics, as water started to drip from both crossguards. "You're not the first to say that, Captain Arashi," Kyo said, his smile gone. "I personally find water terrifying. Have you ever experienced the sensation of drowning? Your lungs begging for air as you try to reach for it, but you just keep falling deeper and deeper and deeper into the depths," Kyo took his left Zanpakuto and pointed it towards Arashi, its two tips pointing left and right. "The pressure just keeps building, your breath can't be held any longer. Your lungs are going to give out and your body is about to be crushed by the chilling water, when suddenly, you can't hold it any longer and you breathe," he whispered the last word as his smile started to reappear slowly. "Your lips spread, your lungs thank you for your mercy, but you get no air. All you get is freezing cold water rushing down your throat, too fast for you to fight back by closing your lips. Your lungs can't take it and your life...ends." Kyo shrugged at the last word. "Now...imagine if there was a shark in the water, one you're going to feed with your life!" Kyo cackled. That's how he saw himself. He was the shark in the water torturing its victim by not granting it instant death until it starts to die in the water...and then he rips his victim to shreds.


Sanosuke gripped his weapon with both hands as he stepped back, giving Masa room to attack. "Vizard or not, released Zanpakuto or not, can you take down a Captain?" He asked, his confidence showing in his grin. "We're here to take Captain Sohma back. If you're in our way, then you'll be that casualty you were talking about earlier. So, I'll say it once," He raised Miroku so his hands were by his face and Miroku was pointing forward at Masa, "Move!" He ran forward and thrust his blade towards Masa's chest.



Kyuzo jumped out of the way, dodging Ryukason's icey attack at the sacrifice of his upper clothing: the spears had torn it off him by the sleeve. He pulled out two short katanas from his waist and released his Zanpakuto by saying, "Awaken, Tenrouken!" The blond Shinigami landed on his feet with two long katanas (See this) They started to glow before being the blade became a quartz-like substance and a shroud of gray sand covered each blade. Tenrouken's ability was to change forms depending on the environment and Hueco Mundo gave it this form. Kyuzo was getting angsty for a fight. "Well, let's go!" He called out as he ran forward and slashed one blade at Ryukason.

 

Ryo looked over at Lex unsure if he should be moving after getting healed but knew that the others will need their help "alright then lets go" Ryo said as he faced the door and ran in drawing his sword

 

Ryokason look exited to fight "well you use two blade too well let fight to are fullness" he use sonido to get as close to Kyuzo and attack him bought blade clash he use his second blade to attack kyuuzo from below.

 

"Now isn't that something," Kyo chuckled. His eyes didn't even wince at Arashi's attack, but it had blinded him. The fact that he was staring directly at Arashi when it happened definitely didn't help. He sensed Arashi appear behind him, but he didn't budge an inch. Whether or not he could was irrelevant, he just simply didn't want to. Arashi's blade went straight through the center of his chest. He felt the pain. He may have been powerful, but he wasn't invulnerable to pain. He chuckled to himself as the blade poked through in front of him. Arashi couldn't see since he wasn't facing Kyo's front, but Kyo's eyes were now all blue. "I hope you know," Kyo whispered, his voice deepening, "That now you're stuck to me." Without warning, he dropped his left sword and grabbed Arashi's blade with his left hand. "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NOW, CAPTAIN?" He asked with a Hollowfied, deep voice as he squeezed the blade so Arashi couldn't pull it out. He swung his right blade behind him, intending for the horizontal tip to stab Arashi.





Sanosuke was caught off guard by Masa, but Arashi turned things to his favor. When Masa positioned himself behind Sanosuke, Sanosuke turned around to defend himself, showing his back to Arashi. While the light still blinded him, he didn't get the full effect as his back was to it, unlike Masa. "It's over!" He yelled as he slashed in Masa's direction, squinting since he couldn't see that well from Arashi's attack.


Kyuzo managed to block both of Ryukason's attack, but had to jump back. He was realizing that Ryukason must have been a higher seat than his own third-seat. "You're not winning!" He yelled as he slashed forward, sending a blast of sand towards his opponent.



EDIT: I'm on my way home for Thanksgiving so I may not post again until Friday. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone~

 

The sand froze in the air near Ryokason "how nice but is that the best you can do you will die" he touch to frozen sand and it started to fall apart he use the moment to sent ice spear to Kyuzo by surprise

 

OOC: Sorry I haven't been on, been enjoying my week off from school.

Hanzo caught himself in the air shortly after the throw but didn't have enough momentum and remained upside down. He looked towards Hatsu just in time to see the Cero headed for him. Damn it! He's faster, he must have Hollowfied! Don't just sit here, counterattack now! Hanzo nodded to his zanpakuto and brought his hand to his forehead yelling, "Cero!", before extending his arm just in time for his own red beam to meet Hatsu's. The clash blew Hanzo back into a wall, mostly from the force of Hatsu's hollow powered blast. He fell from his place in the wall back to the ground, causing a nice cloud of rubble to come forth and surround Hanzo.

He slowly got up, his clothes now torn and ragged and scratches all over him but nothing too serious, and took a deep breath before speaking. His voice was different than before. It had an almost growl to it, as if he were an animal. Hanzo slowly felt himself losing his grip on humanity, his primal instincts were taking over. The cloud of dust settled and revealed an almost ape-looking mask on Hanzo's face. It was at that moment Hanzo felt a pang of emotion, hate, he wanted to tear Hatsu apart, no, he needed to. "Well damn boy, you've driven me to the edge! Don't stop now! Come at me with all you've got! He grasped his sword tightly in his right hand and pushed off of his left foot towards Hatsu leaving the ground crumbled in his wake. He was faster than before and as if he just teleported was a few feet from Hatsu when he pulled his arm back and slashed horizontally with new-found force at the boy.
