just making sure I have numbers right. Did I miss anyone?
"Masa!" Kyo welcomed Masa happily as he watched the fights unfold. "Masa, Sasuke...let's join in on the fun!" Kyo yelled happily as he saw Hanzo attack. "Sasuke...why don't you keep your successor busy? Masa, keep my baby brother busy for me. Virem, Bradnias is going to have to wait before feeding. Can you guard Sohma for me?" It wasn't a question, but he always spoke politely to Virem. Virem looked up to him as an older brother, and that could be useful in the future. He unsheathed his Zanpakuto and dragged it across the ground as he walked forward. It was a long katana with a hilt as long as his forearm. The entire blade was almost as tall as Kyo himself. "Sohma's bleeding, isn't he? Brandias can taste that." He eyed Arashi as he jumped forward, before Virem could object. Everyone else could go for who they wanted. Sohma and his brother were the only special ones. Except for Arashi. He wanted to taste another Captain's blood. "Let me introduce myself!" He yelled to Arashi as he neared him, eyeing the area below his feet. "I'm the one who's going to tear you to pieces!" He let out a loud laugh as he assumed a battle stance, holding Due against the ground in one hand. "Bring it on. Show me what your mask is capable of!"




"You're not my Captain," Hatsuharu told Arashi sternly right before Masa appeared. It was only by pure luck that Hatsuharu managed to keep Raiya released. Unfortunately, he did this by spinning around, as he didn't have time to dodge, causing Masa's blade to hit his back. Moments later, he found himself dodging a rock attack from the newcomer Hanzo. "Damn it..." Hatsuharu muttered as he grabbed his chain whip and spun it around in his left hand. Kyo's going to have to wait...Raiya told him and, against every fiber of his being, Hatsuharu agreed. They had to thin down these numbers first. Sano...where are you? Hatsuharu wondered as he laid eyes on Masa. "Try to hit me again, you skully bastard!" He yelled angrily as he whipped the chain towards him, making it extend longer.

Sanosuke ran several scenarios through his head before hearing a roar in the distance. "Come on, Lex," he said as he helped Lex forward. "Ready to fight or not, we can't stay here." He grabbed Lex's arms and flash stepped away. After several moments and more flash steps, they ended up outside a door. The sounds of battle could be heard inside. "Lex..." Sanosuke wondered what to do with him. "I can't leave them fighting Los Lobos by themselves. Can you stay here? If you need help, call out for it and we'll come."

 

Daichi sheathed his sword and walked over to stand over Sohma with Virem. He didn't want to fight much yet and at least this way he could be of some use. Truly though all he wanted to do was observe the other battles. There was little point in him joining the battle. His calculation of only one or two people being needed after Masa's strike may not have accounted for Arashi's mask, but he also assumed that Kyo would not join this battle. And those two variable's hardly seemed equal to him. Now that Kyo had hit the feild they could consider themselves lucky to leave this place alive. But his knowledge wasn't all encompassing, there could be other factors to change this battle. But Daichi found it hard to imagine much to be significant enough to change the situation.

 

Somerie however was hoping she could stay behind and help fight but it not look like Hatsu wanted any part of deed of going to fetch Sohma. Somerie sighed and lowered her blade as she turned her heel in a attempt to start running to complete the deed, but before she took off running she responded to Arashi's command.
" Fine then, take them on, I will go see if I can find Sohma first, his spiritual pressure shouldn't be hard to pinpoint. The others will arrive and help you, I will try to make it back as quick as I can with Sohma in tow."
She said as she flashstepped off following the spirtiual pressure of the man, wondering why he was seperated from the group in the first place. In only a few minutes Somerie found her way to Sohma's position, but found that he unconcious and that he wasn't alone. . . now this would get complicated for Somerie she would have to perform a rescue and a defence mission at the same time. She flashstepped and hid behind a pillar or rather a buldge in the wall, she knew the disturbance she caused with all the flashstepping around only caused a small breeze in the air but still she had to be careful. She watched Virem from behind the pillar and edged out slowly towards Sohma while Virem's back was turned, he seemed too busy with watching the fight and enjoying it to actually be watching over Sohma. But when she saw Daichi walk over to Virem she flew back behind the pillar in almost a whip-like reaction.
" Damn now theres two, I was hoping to jump the guard and overtake him by suprise. that Daichi guy is starting to really get on my nerves."

 

Ryukason appeared behind sumerie and slash the back of her clothes"i said we have unfinished work now be a good girl and die for me"he said to her as he flashstep away from her "now let start this" he left he have pride not to kill her like that.

 

Somerie nearly had the wind knocked out of her when there was a surprise slash at her back, she gripped the side of the wall, holding in the pain. She was bleeding from the back, but she shook that off, she had to complete her orders and save Sohma. Little did Somerie know that the scent of her blood would fill the air and make things much more complicated.

 

Ryukason went back and stay in the air and watch what sumerie will do whit that injury "you know for me to kill a cute girl like you is so not right well how are you going to fight" he said as he look at her from the air.

 

After hearing a loud roar and sensing a huge gathering of soul reapers, Ryo ran as fast as he could towards the area without pause. damn it how could I have gotten separated from those two so easily Ryo thought to himself as he recalled how he got separated from Arashi and Somerie. Up ahead could be a trap...it doesn't matter I have to help those over there Ryo thought as he ran. Ryo continued to run until he noticed the captain of the 8th squad and Lex. "Captain Sanosuke! Lex!" Ryo yelled as he ran up to them

 

Masa pulled Hatsu, but he didn't mind. At first, it had pulled him off balance, but then he embraced and lunged forward. Now's a good time for your mask! It seemed Raiya had changed her mind. Even she could tell that there was little chance of winning against Kyo and his personal squad of lackeys, especially if one could seal Zanpakuto's and had a Hollow mask on. No, it's for Kyo! He had noticed the effect Masa's blade has on Arashi's, but didn't think much of it. If it sealed Raiya, he could take Masa. He would Hollowfy, though, if things got grim. He charged Raiya with a good amount of spiritual energy before swinging at Masa's own swing. "Get out of my way!" He yelled as he brought it down.



"Oh?" Kyo was surprised when the Cero seemingly came out of nowhere. It hit him square in the chest, causing his torso to swing back, but he stayed in the same position. He immediately grabbed his sheath with his left hand and swung it over his right shoulder, moving his head out of the way. Through the smoke cut Arashi, his blade landing right on Kyo's sheath. The sheath slightly budged, digging into his shoulder, but Kyo simply grinned. "Color me jealous, Captain. No battle stance? Even I can't do that!" Kyo genuinely was envious. His own Cero took too long to fire. He swung both arms over his shoulder, as if lifting something over it, but it was an attempt to push Arashi back and cut him at the same time.





Guard duty? Us? HE PUT US ON GUARD DUTY? I WANT HIS BLOOD!!! Bradnias' anger was so prominent, that Virem couldn't help but let out a low growl towards Kyo, even though he adored the Vizard. What Kyo says is what we do! We'll drink soon! He promised Bradnias in the tone of a child making a feeble excuse to a parent. "Here, drink this," he raised Bradnias to Sohma's face, where blood dripped onto the blade. The blood thinned and then disappeared as Bradnias absorbed it, but it wasn't enough, Virem knew that. "Daichi...more people are coming. I can feel them," He told the other Los Lobos member as he looked at him. "You can only have one. The others...are our meal!" He growled the last word as his eyes narrowed and then flashed his peculiar fangs.

"Ryo!" Sanosuke gasped at the sight of the Third-Seat. "Where have you been?" He asked as he laid Lex against a wall. Is there really time for that? A timid voice asked him in his head. "Actually...there's no time. Stay here and guard Lex! Can you do that for me?"

 

Ryo looked over at the injured Lex and then over at Sanosuke. As much as he wanted to fight he knew it was a better option for Sansuke to go and for himself to guard the weakened Lex "Don't worry. I will make sure to keep him safe" Ryo said assuring the captain

 

OOC: Uh star, I thought you said you flashstepped back to the others ~_~, you didn't stay behind and kept beating me. . . Stop going back and forth, its kind of confusing .x.So I'm just going to act like it didn't happen since Its kind of unrealistic. . . o_o;

Somerie dabbed the blood off her back with wrapped herself up bandages she had stored for emergencies in her kimono and began to flashstep towards the area where she ment to try and rush Virem first. With sword in hand Somerie jumped Virem, slamming the side of her blade into his middle back to see how he would further react.

 

OOC: Actually Love, Sohma was in the same room as the others. He was part of the bait. Of course this is where it turns out that I missed a post or something...

Daichi didn’t even look over at Virem. “I’m a scientist not a fighter. You can have as many of them as you like. And I can take what I have to. And I can sense them just fine, I don’t need you telling me what to be observing.” He said this with a cool even tone that sounded just as clam as someone saying the moon was beautiful tonight. Daichi also had no trouble sensing Somerie but he didn’t show it at all; she was already engaged with Ryukason so there was no need for Daichi to respond as well. Unless something changed the odds Daichi should barely need to lift a finger, just watch the events unfold and collect data.

Ryukason look at daichi and virem ...i know daichi is not going to fight so how long will she last again virem...

 

OOC: Yeah, Sohma's in the same room hanging from a wall.



The moment Somerie's blade made contact with Virem's back, his head snapped to the side. He quickly turned around and stared at her, a grin quickly appearing. "Oh, it's the pretty girl I saw earlier," He said excitedly. "Daichi, you can have the other ones. I want her; I bet her blood tastes as pretty as she is!" Virem couldn't help but get giddy as he gripped Bradnias with both hands. Blood starts dripping from the blade, but instead of falling to the ground, it would stop halfway down and simply hang. The blood then started to twirl. Bradnias seemed to have live dark red strings hanging from it. "I'll fight you! My name is Virem!" He introduced himself politely and spread his legs with Bradnias held in front of him. "But I have to kill you right here, ok? I'm supposed to watch him," he gestured towards Sohma with his head. His tone was a mixture of glee and politeness, which was offsetting with the nature of his words.

"Heeee," Kyo squealed and then held his hands out to his side, letting every arrow hit him. Most of the arrows didn't even break skin, only damaging his clothes, but a select few were sticking in his body. "A Shinigami who not only has Hollow powers, but can use Quincy abilities? Oh my," Kyo slowly started walking as he spoke. The arrows in his body began to dissipate, leaving only small amounts of blood on his skin as the wounds began to close. "I was right, you are special. It was a good thing I picked you to fight," Kyo cocked his head from left to right with each step. He was beginning to think he should let Arashi live. He was something special, all right, maybe more than his brother..."Oh wait...I wanted to show my Cero!" Kyo remembered as he stopped. Without donning his mask he let Due's sheath drop to the ground and held his left fist out in front of him. "It's not as glamorous as yours," red energy began to gather horizontally in front of his fist,"but it gets the job done!" The Cero released in a wide arc, powerful enough that Kyo's clothes flew back as if he was hit with wind. The Cero headed straight towards Arashi with Masa and Hatsuharu fighting in the background.

"Ugh!" Raiya's chain disappeared in a flash and Hatsuharu found her sealed state covered in its sheath, since the release was reversed. Being a fighter who favored speed over power, he was able to move fast enough to block most of Masa's attack, but he didn't have time to unsheath his blade again, leaving him with a covered sword. "Think...again!" He responded by holding Raiya vertically to block one of Masa's attack and quickly dropping to a knee, the speed was enough to unsheath Raiya, giving him time to lunge forward and stab Masa. But before the blade could make contact, a flash of red caught his attention. Cero?! Stopping his offense less than half a second after initiating it, he jumped into the air to dodge Kyo's Cero, but kept his hand firmly on his blade to attack Masa.

Ryukason saw the cero and hear what kyo said "wow so that guy use Hollow powers, but can use Quincy abilities too well that is something" he watch as the fight continue "went this fight is over am going to as kyo to train me".

 

Don't just stand here like an idiot, you won't last long just watching! Hanzo's zanpakuto boomed into his head. But who do I fight, ugh! He felt the drainage once again, it was killing him bit by bit. Go after the weak one! Hanzo looked at Hatsuharu, immediately taking him for the aforementioned "weak one". Hatsu was holding his own with Masa but looked as if he was struggling. The outside interference from Kyo certainly didn't help his cause. Kyo's cero was magnificent, wide enough to threaten two opponents, powerful, and not a bad shade of red either. He used his back foot to push off and sprinted forward towards Hatsu, his already released blade crying for contact, and swung in a rising arc yet again slashing through the ground and yelling, "Hitokuchi!" The same wave of spikes shot out of the ground and this time he jumped on the second spike and rode it towards Hatsu slashing horizontally with wicked force, so Hatsu would have to dodge the first spike and his attack.

 

"Well, maybe another Captain'll level the playing field!" The yell came accompanied by a strong gust of wind in the form of a straight tornado. It headed straight for Masa. Sanosuke held Miroku firmly in his hand after the wind attack left his staff. He had just barged in, entrusting Lex's care to Ryo.



Sano's arrival did three things for Hatsu at once. First, the sound of the familiar voice gave him a sense of comfort and hope. Second, he attacked Masa, even though Hatsu was about to. Third, the yell made him turn his head, just in time to see Hanzo's attack. He jumped forward, barely dodging the spike. He had to place his hand on its edge and push, giving the extra speed to dodge it. Not having time to block Hanzo's slash, he stood his ground (in the air) and swung his blade vertically, a combination of a block and an attack. "Try again!" He smirked as their blades made contact. Hanzo's momentum had given him an extra boost in his strength, but the level of difference between a third-seat and Lieutenant along with his own Zanpakuto's draining him were his disadvantage. However, Raiya was still sealed and Hatsuharu's smirk quickly disappeared as he felt his Spiritual Energy leaving his body through his blade. "What the?"



"Any other special tricks, Captains?" Kyo asked. It wasn't a mock question, there was genuine curiosity behind it. His hand seemed to have smoke emanating from it, but only a small amount. He closed his eyes for but a second, opening them to reveal only bright blue, no sclera, irises, or pupils. "Don't disappoint me!" He ran forward, Due's tip cutting the ground and causing sparks. When he reached Arashi, he swung his blade in a half-circle motion, bringing it up just to swing it down.
