Blades of the Oni

Daisuke felt someone come in behind him as he stood before the alter for the air weapon.

The Oni moved back a few inches, it wasn't much for the force the kicks where at but it did do more damage physically but still not enough to scratch his skin. He swung his club at Chiyo.

Hisui caught up to the others and saw the Oni and Chiyo fighting, Time to try this baby out, he thought drawing his sword, Kuga.

 

Vel ran forward at the beast himself, as he created a ball of energy in his hands and threw it forward at the Oni

"Alrite, I'll take this one then" Yamato said as he started walking down the tunnel, towards the alter where his weapon would await him

 

The Oni grabbed his club with both hands and began spinning around gradually getting faster and becoming a twisted blur as he swatted anyone or anything that got too close.

 

Vel ducked down below the club, before getting hit by the club at the right timing, as he slammed a ball of energy into the Oni's hard body, only to end up getting smashed away by the club, but still landing a good hit on it, as he went flying.

 

Ryo ran up to where they were and drew his sword with one arm. As soon as he pulled it out the sword went straight down "Damn this thing is heavy" Ryo thought to himself and grabed the sword with both hands and prepared himself

 

The Oni tipped over from the attack due to lack of balance and hit the ground, giving him a moment of weakness as he slowly struggled to his feet.

Hisui flicked his sword at the ground repeatedly, he was aiming to understand how he did it before.

 

Ryo saw the opening and ran up while the Oni was getting up and raised his sword and swung downwards

 

The hit connected easily but it only stopped the Oni, it was incredible slow and hits seemed to slow him more. He was getting weaker as well, the hits where adding up, but he wouldn't be finished until they could get a real hit in.

 

OOC: 7 gauntlet users, 5 with weapons 2 about to get weapons. Argument happened powers and purpose explained. Gantlet users can seal and use demon souls to strengthen their weapons, use magic weapons and turn into a Oni god, but that last part comes later. Everyone is outside in the forrest fighting a corrupt Oni which is a Oni corrupted by demons. Btw when I say everybody is outside that also means your guy, just say he is there and start doing stuff, i'd recommned to read the few posts though.

 

Chiyo fell to the ground from Alaric pushing her, and got up, pushing Alaric to the side, making him not get hit by the club. "Alright," She said in a sweet voice, as she jumped up again, hitting him twice with both her feet again, and as if a combo, she landed on her right foot, sprang back up, and did a flip, hitting the thing twice again in the same places. She landed on her feet, running back to Alaric, looking to see if he was hurt.

Reena ran down the tunnel, the greenish tint getting more and more green. She reached the end, where a much stronger Naginata awaited, where it grew in a grean arua, like calling her to it. She walked towards it, her fingertips barely touching it, then making the green power explode into her veins, the wind pouding in her soul. She grabbed the Naginata with both hands, swinging it around as if a battle stance, and nodded. "Let's do this," She said aloud, turning and running back, leaving her old Naginata behind.

 

Daisuke stepped out from behind the alter after she left, "Six, I'll go check up on the seventh", he said as he walked down the tunnel.

The Oni slammed back into the ground and remained still.

 

Chiyo landed, sighing as the balls of her feet felt the ground. "Did we... Kill it?" She asked, backing away. She didn't carry a gauntlet, so she couldn't tell.

Reena was outside the tunnel that the two split up in, wondering what the other was getting. But she suddenly smiled in great effort, realizing that her dream has come true. She's going to help the Oni!

 

Hisui walked over to the Oni on the floor and prodded it with the tip of his sword, "It ain't moving, it might be dead", He said unsure of its life the same as Chiyo.

 

Vel approached the thing. "Yo, you were here to with the weird dude, right? Tell me, anyone know how to absorb these damned things?" He asked, not wanting to hesitate in absorbing it.

Yamato was already sprinting, hammer hung over his shoulder. It was a giant thing, but oddly enough to him, extremely light. "Exsactly what I've been needing. Its perfect" he muttered, a type of shine in his eyes as he ran with it, knowing that it was perfect for him because of its properties, and his skills. He was, after all, an artist. As he ran out of his tunnel, he saw Reena on the side, and smiled to see that she had obtained a weapon as well. "I see I'm not the only lucky one" he said, smiling

ooc: lol, so what then, Reena's evil then? :P

BIC: Chiyo heard the two, as she still was curious to find out how it died. It's skin was like made of stone, but yet, she did a critical hit and killed it. She only saw burn marks from her left foot hitting it in the sam place, and wind burn from where she hit it with her right foot. Chiyo touched the thing with her fingertips softly, wanting to know how it worked, and why it was there.

Reena watched the other pass, and jogged behind him. She didn't want to run fully, and smelt an odd defeat in the air. Reena decided to continue anyway, running now. She saw the light of the other side of tunnel just ahead, as she steadied her breathing, and tried to fix her outfit some, she felt it shown alittle too much.

 

OOC: DS the Oni I was wasn't a propper Oni, their almost extinct in this XD

BIC: "Wait were meant to take its soul?", Hisui asked confused, he had little knowledge of this obviously.

Daisuke entered the main passage behind him as he discovered a second passage way, more like a hole that must of appeared fr some reason. He took it discovering a scroll and the way out into the forrest. He took this path leading him to the others in no time.

The Corrupt Oni was still, it was difficult to tell if it was still alive as it didn't show signs of life when it was. Obviously it seemed to be dead but usually demons faded into dust yet the Oni had not.

 

Kazuki walked into sight and noticed the Oni, "So you can't kill them yet", he stated noticing its body remained, "Their just like demons now, just it takes a lot to seriously damage them", He continued drawing his sword and starting the magic as he stabbed the blade into the creature burning it until it faded into a blackish red mist and turned to dust, "Magic hurts them easier", he said realising Chiyo must of done something to help.

 

He looked atr kazuki as he mentioned oni and suc."Not all oni are as bad as demons.My family forged a bond between human and oni centuries ago and it is still alive to this day in the form of the this blade" and the blade appeared."The oni realise this as the link between everything in this world and when the oni see me they will not attack me" he said.
