Beyond the Bounds

Raine stepped up to the CAPTAIN level, "I have a question", he stated from behind Aria. He kept his scythe lent on his shoulder letting the blade reflect light, "What are the requirements to move up from GRUNT? I've never been told", he asked and explained as he began waiting for an answer.

 

Miyuki kept quiet and got out her weapon

 

Revlin noticed a girl peeking in. He knew enough to know that she was not a high enough rank yo deal with him. "YOU!" he yelled at her "BRING ONE OF YOUR HIGER-UPS HERE! NOW!" He growled.

 

"Hmm so you noticed me" Miyuki said with a smirk "I don't need to listen to you now do I"

 

Kyoko got up as she saw Miyuki leave then heard Raine's quetion and stopped walking. She turned around and stood next to Raine. Maybe if I know how to move up a rank, I can work harder at it! Kyoko thought with a big grin on her face.

 

Revlin growled at the girl, letting his anger get the best of him. "Why? You gonna kill me?" he stopped yelling. "That's all you people ever seem to do. You just kill everybody."

 

"I don't like to kill anyone.......but only if I have to" Miyuki said "just calm down........at least you might have ben able to see your parents" she said

 

"Don't think you can say those things to me. My opinion of you won't change. HERO is everything that's wrong with the world. Anyone who joins is just the same." He glared at her. He was not expecting that inforamtion to come up.

 

Aria turned around, facing Raine. "Since GRUNTs tend to be sent to missions inside the city, they need to prove that they're able to handle missions outside the city." she explained. "Pretty much, don't screw anything up that will lead to chao in and out of the city. It's simple, I guess."

Miyuki dropped her weapon "I only said that.because I never met my parents" she said "but...I only joined because it would be a way to see if I could find them"

 

Raine smiled like a chesure cat, "Perfect", he said as he walked off laugh to himself. He headed outside and within seconds his phone rang in his pocket. He answered it swiftly with his free left hand, the right was holding his scythe. It was a call from his friend also in GRUNT rank, he needed back up. Raine instantly put his phone away and began running out of the HQ and down the path in the direction of the location of his comrades, So they found him, Raizen.

 

Kyoko smiled. That's all I need to hear! She thought. Kyoko got up and walked to the source of the yelling. She peered through the door crack and walked in. She sat in a chair. Kyoko turned to Miyuki. "What going on?" Kyoko asked.

 

"Never met your parents, eh? Betcha they were killed by the organization you work so nicely for." Revlin didn't care what he said to her. He turned to the other one that walked in, but said nothing to her.

 

Kyoko ignored Revlin's comment even though it wasn't meant to be for her and asked again with a stern voice. "What is going on here!?"

 

Valerie nodded in Aria's direction. She then stared at Abbey, she felt sorry for her in a way. "Do PRIVATEs do any missions?" she asked.

 

Valerie raised an eyebrow. "Fun you say?"
She followed Advent to where he was going, curiousity was burning in her mind again. She was a bit unnerved about what Aria had said though.

 

"Hey Advent," Valerie asked, her voice was uncertain. "What did that supurior mean before about powers? I was a bit unnerved by that." She stared down at the floor.
