A metaphoric day hadn't even completed yet. The Coordinator glared with cold eyes down through the glass, her pink lips mashing together repeatedly as she thought and calculated.

The Victim, though the star of the show, was one of the slowest pieces. She had moved just in time, which was excellent considering her importance. That, paired with the fact that she had finally slept, brought the eager Witch joy. The original main cast was composed of eight players; six of which had started out expendable. Only four had redeemed themselves entirely, sparing themselves from execution and declarations. It was sad to think about, but that meant that the cast was split down the middle between those she could kill, and those who had made themselves valuable to the game.

"This is a Spiral King? GaoFar could handle this alone!" Guy taunted as he placed both of his feet firmly back on the ground.
"You! Spiral King, or whatever you call yourself!" Kamina roared, pointing with Gurren Lagann straight at the self-proclaimed king.

He was satisfied with the status quo, albeit a bit...annoyed at being under someone else's authority. But hey, he was young. Most young people were the same way. Elsewhere, Lex had been finishing his session with the Academy Councillor. Since his arrival, he had spent nearly 2 hours in his office discussing his thoughts and life goals. Despite the length of the conversation, the entirety of it all seemed sped up.
"And loose memories, do they still bother you at night?" he continued.
"No Mr. Blood, they've stopped since our last session."
That was a lie. Like other students, his memory was cleared upon entry. However, unlike other students, he had very vague visions of some one in immense pain. A woman crying out as if being murdered.
"Good, Good. Now back to the reason you're here." Fixating his tinted glasses, he folded his hands and spoke out. "Here at STRANGE, we promote learning but there are some questions we prefer you don't..."

Alice woke a little earlier than usual, but waited a bit before she actually got out of bed, just laying in her bed and thinking. The events of yesterday were still doing laps of her head. It had certainly been an interesting lesson and she'd talked to a few people that she wouldn't normally. After the lesson everything had returned to it's normal dullness but she'd actually enjoyed the brief change and in a way she half wanted to rebel now. She wanted to discover what secrets this school was hiding, because it seemed pretty obvious now that it was hiding stuff from them. Still she knew the result if she was caught, however confident she was with her abilities, was it really worth it? Then there was also what if she didn't like what she discovered, as the saying went 'Ignorance is Bliss'. She shook her head and finally got out of bed, wondering if it would just return to normal today or if more things would happen.

Regardless, a grin spread across her face as she realised it was a Tuesday.

His feet brought him through the door to the roof access and down the stairs, and he began his somewhat long-for-walking-in-school journey to the Fine Arts building.

The name Genome hated the most, and he was being referred to as it.

"Jeez, I can never manage to get enough sleep, can I?"

It was just Cat. Well, Donna always managed to get a good rest in her room, so it probably wouldn't have been her anyway.

"And why the hell are you so happy? Did you just find the lost moon of Poosh or something?"

He couldn't help but laugh, seeing her in her pajamas. Her hair was just a mess and though she seemed more irritable than usual, it made her look even cuter to him; she almost looked like a five year old.

She patted her head a few times and realized why he seemed to be laughing. She sighed heavily and turned back around to get ready, hearing his laughter get steadily louder.

Voting for homeslice. The sheer amount of RPs he's cranked out is impressive, plus they were all good. Oh and they've lasted much longer than any of my recent ones. >>;
