A God's War

Meira woke up to a slobbery, doggy tongue licking her nose. Spluttering, she let go of Blue who jumped off the bed and into the main room of the apartment. She looked at the alarm clock on the floor. She hadn’t even been asleep for a half hour. There wasn’t much in her apartment to eat but pop-tarts. Out to dinner again, I guess, she thought to herself. As she licked her lips, she cut her tongue on one of her suddenly enlarged and sharpened canine tooth. She stared at nothing in wonder as she began to taste her own blood. Why....? she asked herself as she concentrated on shrinking it back to a human-sized tooth. She pushed the thought out of her head, grabbed her bag and left her apartment, almost forgetting to shut the door behind her.

Katrina walked slowly but confidently down one of the streets. Though she wasn’t really feeling that confident at all. “What’s the point of giving me their location if I don’t know how to get there, anyways?†she mumbled to herself. She talked to herself constantly, she didn’t bother to use her inside voice, because it often talked back to her anyways. People who passed close enough to hear usually stared or walked a little faster than before. She liked that.
She slowed down even more as she approached the store.

OOC: *falls over dead* X_X

 

Josiah stopped behind the group. He smirked. "Yo guys, found us someone new to join." He smiled as he looked to where Jessica was coming from.

 

Corentine looked Josiah quickly, and rolled her eyes. She turned from him and the new 'girl', and waited for Holden. Great, another woman. More for me to get over.

Stormy looked at Josiah, and felt the anger from before build. She rolled her eyes also, and looked to her left, seeing cars, and flying ships over head. She didn't really like the fact that he and a new girl was here. "Is she a new girlfriend?" She said in a low voice, looking over in a doubtful face.

 

"Girlfriend?" He asked, standing next to Stormy, having his hand on her shoulder, his lips near her ear as he looked at her. "Is there a problem with me meeting new people, Storm-ster?" He smirked.

 

Jessica scoffed, her lips pulled up to a doubtful smirk.
"Well.. i can see I'm not wanted," she spat out coldly. She could tell the presence wasn't as welcome as she could imagine. Of course she'd figure no one would like her. She shook her head, and started walking away, not at a fast pace, but just to linger on.

 

Josiah looked at the map and saw the coin hit the middle, of the ocean. "What in the world is there?" He looked at it more closely, pulling the coin up and saw a small island. "Great...that place." He looked at Jessica and slithered in front of her. "I'd suggest you stay with us, it's better if we have more of a chance really, more fun for you as well."

 

Corentine looked at the coin, and saw it was turned to tails. "That's unlucky. We should go." She said, looking up at Holden. He was taller that her, which made it hard for her to make a difference.

Stormy shook off his hand, and walked towards the others, not answering the question, making a 'Tsk' noices at the new name he was calling her.

 

Kaori looked Josiah and the new girl.She turned around and walked over to Holden.She put her hands behind her back and looked at the map.

She eyes stared him down. Her anger was rising, as the short tempered fury began to spread.
"I can tell, they don't want me there..." she struggled, to keep her cool. The fire kept taking away anything cool left in her body.
"Besides, i don't want to be a nuisance," she scoffed. She got in her backpack, looking for a cigarette. She felt as if she needed one now more than ever. She scoffed when she realized she threw away her last pack. She'd need to get some more soon before she gets more angry at things she shouldn't.

 

OOC: Stormy is just Stormy, and Conretine is sorta annoyed, since you brought another girl around. RC, you can stay, it would be interesting if you did anyway. Don't automatically suspect that. My girl Stormy will probably begin to like you if you talk to her. I'm trying to make them like Rikku and Paine. ._.

 

OOC: Sheesh...everyone's using Josiah as a punching bag. xD

Bic: Josiah sighed and stepped aside. "Go if you want, but is it better than being out there, with people who see you as a different person, a freak...? I've been there if you haven't noticed...but I keep my cool...." He walked lightly over to where the group was. "Keep your flame down, and we won't be having a problem."

 

Corentine nodded once, punching Holden lightly. "We should go, just to see what's there. And if nothing's there, then we could just flip again." She said playfully. "Besides, I havn't been to the Ocean in a while." She said, jumping some in excitment. "I've a got a special way to get us there." She continued, putting her hands behind her back.

Stormy sighed some, knowing her fire power would be no use when they go into the transportation that Corentine used to use when Mother bought that Island back in the day. They sold it, since it was no use to them.

Jessica scoffed and looked back at him. She didn't expect him to not have been there done that. All the other vampires she's came in contact with over the years have been through the same thing. It would be are to have met one who was so welcomed into groups and such. She threw her bag over her shoulder and walked back, standing next to Josiah, her eyes staring at everyone. She could feel the red tint glimmer down to an almost magenta color, where the fire burned down to an ember in her body.

 

Josiah smirked as his words did get to her, but he was more forgiving to others of his kind, and really, his kind were the open arms. He had the fire in his heart down to a small spark. This is why he was open arms, but when he met Jessica, the fire in his heart raged into a large flame. And his body wasn't warm, but with ice. He looked at the group. "So, Storm-ster, what now? Going to be using that ship?"

 

Jessica pulled her lips up to a smile. Her sharp teeth exposing. She remembered trying to file them once, just to fit in, but it ended up badly. She shook her head slightly and leaned up to Josiah, where he was taller than her, and whispered in his ear.
"Care to tell me what's going on?" she whispered, her tone icy and calm.

 

Stormy looked up at Josiah, and then the new girl. "At least, until Submarine here shows us the way." She said, nodding towards Corentine. That's what father called her, when she was younger, when she would be under the water for ages, and come up every four minutes or so.

Corentine looked up at Stormy in a serious look, not wanting to hear that name. She looked back at Holden, seeing that it was his choice now..

 

"Hmph, well, for one, we're going to this island really, and yeah, it's a bit of the one in the middle of the atlantic...not a fun place for fire wielders." He smirked as he looked at Stormy. "Really though, it's a bit of an undertaking as to why we should be there anyway."
