A God's War

The dawn of a new day never ceased to amaze her. With the sounds of the day flowing by, she could only watch, the humans around her. Her skin sparkled off the sunlight, and watched as the humans could only gasp in horror of her ethnics. Well, she could care less at what they thought. She could only care more than she could for a jar of dirt. She walked down the lane and kicked open the door to the cafe, slipping her uniform on and starting her regular job. It was a pretty shitty job, she thought, but it was the only way for her to make any income.
She went around the cafe, waiting tables, happy the sunlight wasn't touching her skin, or else, she could be stared down, and end up losing her job for killing a customer.
Jessica waited a few more people before getting aggravated with herself. This was her day off, and yet she decides to work instead. She had nothing better to do, and she couldn't think of anything to do... She cleaned a table up and seated another, whom seemed very nervous around her. She could only sigh.
Jessica pulled off her uniform, scoffing.
"I'll take my day off," she said to the cook behind the counter. She sat at one of the tables, waiting for her headache to calm down. She made the mistake of sitting in a window, where the sun shined in and her skin sparkled. She could only become more angry at the gasps of fascination and horror throughout the cafe.
"Ya' know what? **** you all," she yelled at the customers and pushed the table over, walking out, in a mad phase.
Jessica decided to blow off some steam. Her teeth gritted and her hands clenched as she walked past an alleyway, looking down it, seeing a few men playing with street toys with strings. She scoffed and leaned against the alley wall, chewing a piece of gum. She let the sunlight warm her cold face up, as she took off her jacket, showing her halter top.

 

Aria finally finished work for the day and headed home. She put her hands in her pockets and left the restaurant. She took out her phone and saw that she had a few messages from her parents.She looked up at the sky and sighed. Aria looked back down and put her phone back in her pocket. Once she got to her house,she opened the door and slammed it shut.She dropped her bag on the floor and went straight to her room. She sat down on her bed and looked down at her feet.Aria closed her eyes and leaned back on her bed.She put one arm over her eyes and the other over her forehead.

 

OOC: Hmmm...where should I start? Because now I'm confused. Crimson?

 

OOC: Which was on what page? *spam-like*

 

OOC: Great...where to begin? *laughs* Should I just walk to where your character is or what, Crimson?

 

Corentine followed behind Holden silently, as if she was a lost puppy. She didn't know where they were going, but was happy that she was with a man, to keep her safe. She silently scoffed herself for her sexist comment in her mind.

Stormy sighed, and walked slowly behind them. She didn't know what to do, but was pretty sure that there was going to be some trouble ahead.

 

OOc: All right, time for me to go into AWOL Mode....

Bic: Josiah followed behind the three, as light as a feather he was on the ground, his footsteps could barely be heard. He tapped Stormy's shoulder with his boney-like finger. "Where are we going?"

 

Stormy continued walking, not moving her head, but looking back with her eyes. "No Idea." She answered in a monotone, like she was thinking.

Corentine looked back to hear her sister talking, which was rare. "What?" She said sort of, but noticed it was one of those men. She turned again, her hands behind her back, acting as if she didn't see anything.

 

OOC: ? It was a joke, I'm not going anywhere. xD

Bic: "And, what is his idea of telling you?" He sounded obscured to what to do with himself. "Oh, and Corentine, what, pray-tell, am I suppose to do with you and men?" He looked at her, swiftly moving past Stormy and right next to Corentine.

 

Cornetine jumped suddenly at the sudden man beside her. "Oh, Nothing." She said, her head up, closed eyes, and a smug smile apon her face.

"She's just..." Stormy said quietly, then trailing off, into her own thoughts. She didn't want to interupt a flirtatious conversation. She knew that Corentine was going to flirt. It pissed her off sometimes.

Josiah, however, had something in mind for himself to get Stormy to talk more. "So, mind telling me one thing, two things actually," He smirked and looked at Stormy, knowing the pissed off attitude she had when it came to flirting. "How would you like to hear a quote? A special quote. And two, how bad does it take to piss someone off who's flirting with someone else?"

OOC: And I have found the quote. xD "Remember, remember the 5th of November, the gun powder treason and plot. I know of no reason why the gun powder treason should ever be forgot." :sly:

 

Stormy sighed a little louder, walking slower. She didn't want to hear anymore, so she decided to dig into her pocket, and found an iPod. She put the ear-buds inside her ears, and she turned it up loud enough to where the music lip synced to what the others were saying.

Corentine smiled some, and nodded. "Sure, I know how bad." She answered, not really noticing Stormy's movement.

 

Kaori walked behind Josiah and everyone else.She had her hands behind her back and looked at the two girls talk to Josiah. She turned her head to look somewhere,and let out a quiet sigh.

 

"All right then, let me think of the line...'Remember, remember the 5th of November, the gun powder treason and plot. I know of no reason why the gun powder treason should ever be forgot.' Well?" He smirked and looked at Stormy, he sighed as he did but went back to a small smile on his face. "So, how bad? And Stormy seems to have a bad mood." He then looked at Kaori, he smirked and slithered over to her way. "There a problem?"

 

Stormy looked at the two talking, reading the last sentance. She looked at him in a glaring way, and flicked her finger, sending a rock from the tile floor onto his head. It was small, but it could cause a little damage from where she was. If farther, it could be like a bullet. She set those up, so she can have some sort of weapon in case of some sort of attack was made, and she didn't have anything.

Corentine giggled some, and blew the rock away. She waved a playful finger at her sister, and looked over at Josiah. "That was great!" She said happily, clapping her hands some.

 

Josiah smirked and looked at Corentine. "I guess, but that's what many people don't get about "relationships" or "flirting" or even..."hearts"." He was being a real pain now, wanting to see how far he could take it with Stormy before she blew a gasket. "Maybe I was wrong, maybe you don't have a heart, Stormy, maybe you have a black hole." He wasn't smiling, but wanting to guess her expressions.

 

Jessica could barely stand the sight of most humans. Her appearance was, more than beautiful to them. It was stunning, breath taking, and she hated it. Everything about her drew them in, and she couldn't stand them, staring at her. It was something she despised.
"Tch," she scoffed, taking out a pack from her pocket, and pulling out a cigarette. She lit it up and started smoking it, breathing out half the smoke she inhaled, bouncing around on her feet.
She put her jacket in her backpack and started walking down the street, still smoking her cigarette. She looked around the lanes, wondering if she could ever find someone who understood her. Who could understand why she was always in a bad mood. But that stuff was fairytales. Never going to happen, so she should just forget that stuff, knowing it'll never happen. She smoked the last of her cigarette, flicking the filter into the nearest garbage can, and pulling out another one. She hated cigarettes herself, but maybe that would give everyone else the impression she wasn't as healthy as she looked. It made her seem more 'nasty' than what she appeared.
