Kaori looked down and thought for a moment. She put her hands behind her back and stood there,waiting if Leah would say anything else.Also wondering if her job will be done by somebody else. She looked up at Holden and Leah as the both of them talked.

Josiah looked at Holden with a bit of dumbfoundedness. "Sure, no problem, I'll look after Kaori." he replied to Leah. He turned to Kaori. "Well, is this a bad thing that I'm going to be protecting you?" He smiled.

Partial bio: -Vampire- Grew up in the mountains, learning to control her thirst for blood by living off animals. She's training herself to not attack anyone else. She learned recently the world is at war, so she figures she might lend a hand to whomever needs it.

 

Corentine smiled in a flirtatious way, as if to be liking the joke Holden was trying to pull. "Will you be on your best behavior?" Corentine said, heading for the door.
Stormy looked up suddenly, as if she was scared stiff. "Where am I going, Mother?" Stormy asked, as if she was shocked by her not making her stick with Corentine.

 

Kaori looked at Josiah and shook her head. "Not at all.I just hope I'm not too much trouble for you." she said smiling.

 

"You'd be surprised how hard it is to keep up with you women." He laughed at himself, but might get slapped if he said that again, so he kept his smile off and walked out the door from the study. "Hmm...not much to do now but wait." He talked to himself.

BIC: Meira had been working for hours. She swung open the door to her apartment, went in, dropped her bag on the floor, pushed the door closed with her foot and didn’t bother to lock it. She dragged her feet to the bedroom and collapsed on her unmade bed. She heard a muffled groan from under the covers. “Sorry, Blue,” Meira said as she pulled a ruffled, black Cairn Terrier from under her leg. She pulled him into a snuggle. Blue was oddly obedient, even for a dog. Meira was technically not permitted to have a dog in the apartment building. But whenever someone tried to take him, he would become viciously protective. He let very few people go near him, unless Meira said it was okay. That’s right, you know who the alpha of this pack is, she joked. Her thoughts wandered, and she soon drifted off into an afternoon nap.

Corentine put her right hand to her lips, giggling some. She followed silently out of the room in Holden's footsteps, in sort of stalkerish way. As if a child and her father.

Stormy sighed at the comment, she had to be stuck with Holden. She uncrossed her hands, and followed slowly out of the room, thinking of how to get rid of Holden. She shook her head slightly, trying to think of something positive instead.
