A Dark World

Sessamaru, too, snapped his fingers, the rune on his hand, hidden by his glove, allowed a portal of orange, yellow, and black to form. He walked into it, appearing in the courtyard. He drew his crystal shamshir, awaiting for the corporeal flame to take form.

 

Drake appeared in the courtyard in a blaze of flames. After that, he pulled out the fire orb. "Why do you seek this orb for? You seem powerful enough!," Drake said. Drake put his right hand on the fire orb and pulled out what looked like a claymore which was ignited on fire. "The orbs are the sources of their elements meaning that all fire in the world comes from this blade! Why do you want such power?," asked Drake.

 

"Even if This One told you, you would only laugh and scorn His existence..." Sessamaru lamented, his memories flashing before him. He shook his head. Lumia, the crystal shamshir, began to glow with an emerald fog, the light radiating Sessamaru and his pink glowing sakabatou. "Come..." he whispered, holding his form.

 

"No need," Drake said. Drake snaps his fingers and fire starts rushing toward Sessamaru.

 

As the fire rushed towards Sessamaru, the snow white warrior set into action. Blades dancing about as he charged, his movements forever graceful, wind began to abruptly blow out the flames, while invisible blades set towards Drake. Sessamaru stopped instantly, the flames already dispearcing. "Come..." he reiterated coldly.

 

"Hmm...you blew away pure elemental flame...Interesting...," said Drake.

Drake ran toward Sessamaru with his blade ready to strike, but as he got close to his target Drake turned into flames and instantly appeared behind Sessamaru, ready to cut his back.

 

Sessamaru, reflexes and senses honed greatly for battle, quickly spun around in his crouched formed, punching away into Drake's stomach with the pommels of Sakura and Lumia. Finished with his volley, he smacked both dull blades across Drake's throat, closing the wind pipe temporarily. Sessamaru sweeped under Drake's legs, then jumping back. He stood there. "Never hesitate..." He whispered, his voice altered. Sessamaru saw the flaw of Drake's movements and tactics. If he teleported behind Sessamaru, he should've swung the claymore horizontally, giving Sessamaru more of a burden. He would have to dodge. But hesitating to attack vertically, ended up giving Sessamaru and his quick reflexes the greater advantage. He stood, waiting. "Your move..."

 

Drake quickly turned into fire. The fire spread all around the courtyard, burning everything in its path.
Drake then appeared behind Sessamaru and held him in place as the flames headed toward them.

"I may have tons of openings, but my ability to turn into flame makes me invulnerable." said Drake.

 

A chuckle escaped Sessamaru's masked lips. "True... You're practically invincible in a corporeal form, stuck between the Material Plane and the Plane of Fire..." he explained, releasing his vast knowledge, leading into multiple steps. "But..." A wind aura appeared, surrounding Sessamaru like a whirlwind. Blades of wind attacked the flames, destroying the elementals. "If another element interacts with a certain plane, then the result happens to the other, showing the connection between all Planes." A series of windblades attacked Drake. "All in all... This One holds every advantage..." He concluded, his cloak and leather armour burning, shadow tendrils trying to cover the flesh of the Forgotten, but being banished by Drake's corporeal form.

 

Drake gives Sessamaru a surprised look. "You must have battled other orb holders if you are this prepared," said a surprised Drake. Drake makes his claymore appear. "I just have one question, where do you get this power you have from?, asked Drake.

"Dhar'khania..." He whispered, sliding to the other side. His leather armour begins to mend, hiding his snow white skin. "And to tell the truth... You're the first..." He whispered, his burnt cloak turning into ashes. The flames did not touch Sessamaru's flesh or hair. The green-eyed albino stared deeply into Drake's very core, the runes under his obsidian lids glowing faintly, ominous. "This One is the Aeromancer of Dhar'khania, hier to the Dead Throne..." The sakabatou was now replaced by an ominous shamshir, its obsidian-adamantite blade glowing with a purple aura. Shadowbane purred in his hand, a pulse striking the air. The sentient blade was pleased. "Now come!"

 

Drake drops his blade, which fades away. "You are similar to Dole......dark power that conquers all......that kind of power should just fade away.....," Drake slowly said. Drake's eyes turned red. "ALL DARKNESS SHOULD JUST VANISH!!!" yelled Drake. As he finished yelling, the fire orb reacted. The fire inside the orb released itself, rapidly spreading everywhere and consuming anything in its path.

Off Topic:
Drake doesn't like darkness because Dole used it to kill his father. Since Drake is mad, the orb reacted to him thus going into a berserk mode. If it doesn't stop, the fire will consume everything around it and keep spreading. You can kill drake if you want, I may come back as Dole. >.>

"This One..." Sessamaru's eyes shifted to the left. His thoughts became a tumult of emotions. Quickly, he gazed at the Berserker and his deadly flames. "This One... Will snuff out this darkness..." Sessamaru whispered, promising. But, knowing he could not take the orb from Drake alive... He would have to take the alternative. The orb was connected to Drake, it appeared, as if sentient, grasping the very heart and mind of the leader. "Rezuken!" He shouted, disappearing from sight. A few moments passed. Sessamaru appeared on the other side of Drake, the Fire Orb in his hand as Shadowbane rested in her sheathe, abnormally satisfied. The Green-Eyed Albino felt incredibly hot, as if his body was on fire. He held back his pain, his eyes closing. He walked away. As he vanished from Drake's manor, a vacuum appeared, devouring the fire, while Drake's body, beaten and torn, collapsed, being left alone in the vacuum within the courtyard, the flames snuffed out. In the heart of the courtyard, rested a single light.

Shall you rest eternally in the light... the orb spoke, forever resting in the heart of the courtyard.

Drakes body burst into flames.

"Fool," said a mysterious voice. The voice came from everywhere. "To the victor of this boring match, I will let you have the orb and the zone for now, but if you make a decision that goes against the capital, I will send my army to take it back over!" the mysterious voice said. The voice then disappeared.

Sessamaru waved the voice away as he walked down the dirt road, finding a large circular path that split into different roads. He stopped at the heart and began to chant. When he finished he appeared inside Alaric's brother's office. He looked around immediately. "What have you done?!" Sessamaru shouted. "Alaric!" His voice, again, became altered, sounding like an outraged human in his early 20's. The Orb of Fire began to act up, his burning body became hotter to him. Sessamaru turned to Alaric, his green eyes as cold as ice. No creases appeared around his furrowed brows, his skin remained flawless, not wrinkles existed. The mask hid his entire neck, up to the bridge of his nose, connected to the leather armour. Dancing about like a white flame, his white mane began to shine silver and sky blue, while his shining green eyes became a blinding light, illuminating his bone-bleached skin. His memories haunted him, from past to recent present. He, too, killed a man. Mercy or no... He felt his guilt burden him more.

Sessamaru, outraged, used the Fire Orb to burn the multiple corpses. "Arrogant *******..." Sessamaru whispered coldly, walking out of the flaming room. As he exited, he saw Tessa, his eyes saddened, the beaming lights of his eyes now dim with sorrow. His melancholy was felt by the corporeal cyan tendrils that escaped his body as an aura, while black vapours were released. "Why?" He asked bluntly, red tears falling down his high cheekbones. The death of one man was all he could stand, but a series of corpses slain by a mere child? He felt his heart breaking.

 

Tessa saw Sessamaru. He looked sad. The room befor her was on fire, and she saw all the bodies killed by Alaric. She saw him leave, and started after him slowly.
