A Dark World

Already, as soon as the boy sidestepped, he was not cautious enough to defend. If Alaric was smart, he wouldn't have sidestepped a berserk assassin. One shamshir ran up through Alaric's side, cutting through three ribs as it came upwards. The blade, fortunately, missed the major organs, but the bleeding was fierce. "Rule one, never sidestep a drow... With that in tow, I bid you to die..." The drow turned to the girl and the downed horse. "To be continued..." He spoke, shadows engulfing the dark elf, which soon turned into black mist, revealing that the elf, with his shadeborn powers, vanished, teleporting to the next, nearest alcove, to rest.

Tessa was busy helping the fallen Snow. She had tears of rage in her eyes. "He wont get away with this." she said in a voice that could kill alone. "Lucky she wasn't hurt, or I'd kill him HERE AND NOW!" she screamed the last part. Snow quickly got up. Tessa's face was filled with such rage and anger no one had ever seen before. She stood there for a second, glaring at the ground. She wiped her eyes roughly with her arm. Then her expression softened. "youre hurt." she said, taking some bandages from the saddlepack.

 

Tessa relized the fact. She flung her arms around Alaric. "Thank you so much." she said.

 

"Drake!" Shouted the Forgotten, his voice carrying a melancholy that is not to be envied, for it meant death to be heard. His voice seemed humanly, but the music behind it was saddening, the reality entangled within the webs of fate. Sessamaru kicked open the door, inside Drake's building. His black cloak danced swiftly about his corporeal body. He clenched Sakura, the blade's hilt radiating a rosey aura that surrounded the wielder. The sakabatou gave him more pity, more empathetic emotions. It was a harmless blade of justice, used to immobilize opponents, never kill them. The green-eyed albino continued to walk. "Give This One what He desires!" He cried, his voice demanding, almost frightening. He awaited for an opponent, who ever would attack this enraged albino. His deadly grace in which he presented was example enough, no matter how harmless it seemed, to send a shiver of fear down the spines of many.

 

"Oh, sorry." she said letting go. "Sure, we can head off. We're still together on this, right?" she asked although she knew the answer.

 

"Hard part?" Tessa said following him and leading Snow. "I can help." she said.

"many..." she said. The most she had ever faught was 20, that was when her best friend was tortured to death. Tears came to her eyes as she remembered it. She had faught against them, trying to get her captured best friend back, but all she ended up with was being chained down with a cracked skull, watching her friend die. she wiped the tears away quickly, hoping Alaric didn't notice.

 

"Yeah...fine..." she said. Try as she must, the image was in her brain, as vivid as she was standing there. "What? A whole army? Youre jokeing." she said. "I'll help you. I'm quite capable."

 

"Great." she said. "You sure? I really want to help...I don't want you to get hurt...." Tessa added. "Like my best friend." she whispered.

 

Tessa was uncertain. There was something he wasn't telling her, she knew that much. "Ok, now, how to act..." she said looking at the couples going in. They were all hooked arm-in-arm. She smoothed out her dress. This was going to be weird.

 

Tessa put on her best smile and hooked her arm in Alaric's. Snow was tied to the horse post. Stop worrying! she'll be fine. she thought.
