    Tessa quickly took out her bow and arrow. She aimed it right for Vallyn's face, unnoticed. I got one shot, before he kills us both. she thought.

    Alaric didn't bother to look back. The arrow most likely didn't make contact with its target, but it gave them time to get away. "Now for the hard part...crashing that party..." He said as they rode off.

    Vallyn didn't enjoy them running off. He easily deflected the arrow, already shadowstepping in front of snow, crouched, and performing two simultaneous thrusts towards the horse's neck. The assassin hated runaways.

    Alaric was able to lean over and stop the blades from hitting Snow. "What the hell do you want?! You're not even worth my time! You pathetic excuse for a living thing!" He shouted.

    With a quick double jab of his shamshirs, Alaric's shoulder bled and fell limp. "Pathetic? If I remember, creatures like you don't have a long lifespan, nor any desires fit for a living organism!" He shouted, sweeping a kick to knock the horse off balance. His graceful movements went unmeasured.

    Alaric got back up on his feet quickly. "Like I said. You're not worth my time. I have more important people to kill." Alaric said shaking the feeling back into his arm. "That trick of yours only works on the weak minded." He added still not even attempting to draw his blade.

    With a sigh, the drow finally spoke, his cold tone very much deadly "Have you not learned? You're mortal, as us all, even the gods... But... Some of us are worth more than others. You just seem to catch my eye everytime I look at you," tendrils of darkness leak out of his body. He was definately not your every day drow. "And this is because..." He took a step forward, apparitions made of shadows appearing "You are just blood money!" with this, he shadowstepped, as did his apparitions, two shamshir's thrusting from impossible angles.

    Alaric rolled forward barely avioding the blades. "I'm not exactly the easiest person to kill. I'm not worth much to you. Alive or dead. Just leave." Alaric said calmly extending his arms to mock the dark elf. "Come on. Let me finish my buisiness with my brother. Then I'll let you kill me."

    Springing forth from beams of shadows, daggers woven of darkness shot forth, the agile dark elf becoming a blur, his graceful movements uncomprehending. A barrier of blades protected him as he built up more momentum, his shamshirs breaking the air resistance for his charge.

    "Enough!" Alaric shouted as he stepped over to the side swiftly and behind the dark elf easily outmaneuvering him. "I'm done playing games with you. I'm leaving whether you like it or not."
