Sarah inspected a dead student in the tunnels, she confirmed their death by shooting them two more times to be safe before returning to her fellow conspirators “This is your fault Nadine!” Sarah shouted “You just had to blabber on didn’t you?” she complained “And now they have the stone, this is not acceptable, would it have killed any of you to try and stop the students from running away?” Her anger was played out well and convincingly, the others would believe she was angry when she was almost jumping for joy.

“We should get going” Alastair said to Kendric “We can split up once we reach the surface, but in these tunnels we are the ones at a disadvantaged, they will probably know the tunnel layouts and we can only fight a few at a time due to the size of the tunnels and the fact that not all of us are fighters” Alastair wondered to himself how they actually would escape, “We could always get an elemental to use magic to dig up?” he said to himself as he kept pacing. “Any ideas anyone?” Alastair asked as he came up with no ideas as to how to escape the tunnels. They would have to be quick, the adults were sure to be after them soon if the spell had worn off and his own mother had been deadly even with the spell active.

Mya overheard Celeste speak out the name Abelard. She heard about him. He was a man very close to her own father. She had seen some of his designs before on paper, but never in real life. It was also believed he also created the model of weaponry that now the current military uses. Not only regular military weapons, but also artistic looking ones too. He truly was a brilliant man. "You're father was really a brilliant man. Making weapons like these...and to think he hid all of these in such a place! What brilliance!"
She walked over to a wall full of handguns. She herself wasn't interested in regular weapons. In fact, she was a sucker for artistic and unique looking weapons, which was enough in this room to put her into a meltdown state, but it wasn't the time. She carefully lifted a unique looking revolver and handled it a little. It was a little heavy, but she knew how it worked thanks to her handgun training for years and years. She twirled the gun in her hands and landed some nice flips. She was very tempted to fire a shot, but it wasn't a time to fool around. She nodded in satisfaction. Once this was all over, she would create her own weapon similar to this design. It was a shame she couldn't take it with her. Then again... "I-in a situation like this, he wouldn't mind us using these weapons would he?" Just as she said that, she heard a loud clang and seeing a sword broken in half. She shook her head ans sighed. "I hope he doesn't get mad at us if he decides to come back here..." Deciding to wanting to hold it a little longer, she also took the holster and carried it around her while continuing to examine the many weapons placed along the room while listening to Alastair. It was true. They were in a very dangerous position. Even with weapons, they had superior magic skills that wouldn't matter how many weapons they had. Escape seemed to be the only option. "Well a room like this needs to have an exit right? There should be one."

Alayah turned around when no one responded, blinking a few times in confusion. What? Where had Abi gone? She walked around, weaving between the other students. "Abi!" she called. "Abi, where are you?" She was sure the girl had been right behind her, when had she disappeared?
Now officially worried, Alayah bit her bottom lip and tried to avoid looking at the entrance to the tunnel they had come from. What if Abi hadn't made it, and Alayah had been so focused on escaping that she hadn't noticed?
She scanned the rest of the students one more time. Yes, it was official, Abi was nowhere to be found.

Rogan chuckled. "Nah," he said. "I never bothered to learn, really. I never thought I would find myself in a situation like this." Rogan looked down at Lucas's weapon, the slender curved sword sheathed safely in the scabbard, then looked back at his own small dagger. Maybe he should find a new weapon... with the danger they were facing, would a retractable dagger really be enough to protect him and the people he cared about?
But he couldn't afford to start second-guessing himself now. He would be fine, he was more likely to be a danger to the people he cared about if he picked up a weapon he couldn't handle.
"Rogan!" Rogan looked up, Alayah was walking towards him, and he could tell by her face that she was anxious about something. "I can't find Abi," she said, as if he knew who this Abi person was. "Have you seen her?"
"Uh, that depends," Rogan said. "What does she look like?"
"She has short brown hair, and, um, she was wearing pink," Alayah said.
Rogan thought for a minute. "I... haven't seen her," he said. "Alayah... be prepared, there might be... bad news."
Alayah bit her bottom lip again. "I thought you were going to say that," she said. "But I'm not going to accept... that... yet. I'm gonna keep looking! Wish me luck!"
Rogan sighed. "Good luck," he said. "But... prepare yourself anyway, just in case."
Alayah nodded and moved back into the crowd, still trying to find any news about her friend.
Rogan took a deep breath. "I knew we were too lucky," he said. "Even with that strange voice, the spell, and that weird opening tunnel... I knew something bad was going to happen."

Xane sighed a little, wishing their situation was better. He heard Alastair talk about splitting up, and while Xan wasn't all for it, their options were limited, and they couldn't all stay together when the adults came, otherwise there would be even worse trouble. Although the question did come up: How would they split up? They couldn't split up with each person on their own, and they couldn't move in too large of a group, or else they'd just be bigger targets; they needed to have groups with enough people to cover each other, but small enough to move about with no problem.

"Hey guys, if we're going to split up, we need to figure out how. We can't just split up with no plan, otherwise we're just making more groups to be hunted down."

He gripped his new sword, trying to find the best way out of their predicament, but he just couldn't find any. All he wanted was to help people, but here he was, thinking instead of acting while they were waiting for something to happen, not knowing anything other than the fact that they were underground in a giant room filled with weapons, a president dead, and 4 people out to blame them. He was ready to throw himself at the wall. One of the biggest problems they had was how many of them could actually fight, and that was just if they needed to. If it really came to a fight with the teachers, the only reason for a fight would be to get a distraction in, since there was no way they could fight on equal footing.

Celeste looked around at everyone, smiling as they seemed satisfied with all the weapons around - some of them made by her own family. Some even thanked her and recognized her family which she fel totally undeserving for, causing her to blush slightly. She didn't really know what to say so instead she just nodded at them and immediately turned away, slightly flustered. She gripped her weapon's handle tightly in her hand, swinging it forward to hold it properly with both hands.

She walked over to the crowd of students, who began talking about escaping from here. She noticed that some of the students seemed to be back to normal... which probably meant the bad guys would be right at their tail. All she could see were weapons. Weapons everywhere. She pouted, escape didn't seem like much of an option at the moment - but they were right, this couldn't just be some room. She turned to her friend Kendric, who seemed to be the one who opened the door to this place to begin with. She glared at him for a moment, remembering that she was angry with him a couple minutes ago but she let it off with a sigh the nudged him slightly with the side of his weapon.

"Alright hero, any ideas from you?"

The other students had already been spitting out their own but some sounded really skeptical but she listened in to every one of theirs until she heard a very worried and troubled voice. She looked over to the direction from where it came from and saw a familiar face - it was the Alayah girl, she seemed to be freaking out on something and talking with her brother. Even from a distance, with her bunny ears, Celeste listened into their conversation.

"I can't find Abi, Have you seen her?"

Abi? Who was that? She really needed to start taking down names

    "What does she look like?"

"She has short brown hair, and, um, she was wearing pink,"

Abi! Her name was Abi. That shy girl Alayah was with in the elevator. The teenage shapeshifter's eyebrows furrowed, she looked around. Where was that girl? Alayah was right she wasn't anywhere... She turned back towards the tunnels. Was she still there? No, that can't be - all the students must have made it. Celeste tried to focus and listen in through the tunnels - she couldn't hear much, actually almost nothing - probably because she wasn't exactly great with her powers but really, she couldn't hear anything not even-

    BANG! BANG!

    Two shots.
Was that two shots? Celeste's expression changed to one of great fear and worry and she clutched her weapon desperately. Two shots. Abi missing. What did this mean? Did this... did this mean that...? No! It couldn't! She could feel tears in her eyes, but she bit her lip hoping they wouldn't fall. No, she only thought of the worst that could happen. Abi was probably just-

This is your fault Nadine! You just had to blabber on didn’t you?”

That was the voice of one of the bad guys. In the tunnels? That meant they were close. She gasped out loud before turning to everyone and exclaiming with a panicked tone "They're progressing through the tunnels! We have to move!"

As the others students around him were discussing about a way to get out, Drei was preoccupied with the weapons before him. All of them looked amazing, which wasn't a surprise giving the maker of them, but none of them stuck out to him in any way. Close range weapons weren't his specialty so he looked past those and towards the firearms. It was then he found himself transfixed on the dual guns. He didn't know what but something about them was calling out to him, almost as it some part of him knew that these were the perfect weapon for him. He went over to pick them up to get a better feel for them. Just as he'd thought, they felt perfect to him. Still he couldn't just go trigger crazy right now, that would have to wait.

"I can't find Abi, Have you seen her?"

Someone was missing? Not that he'd talked to many people besides Zauriel and Mya, but still ever since this mess started they pretty much were forced to work together to get out alive. Still he tried to rack his brain for anyone named Abi. Odds were that he'd saw her or at least heard her name and not paid it any attention.

    BANG! BANG!

Gunshot's don't tell me. There weren't that many options that it could mean, but he still had to hope that it wasn't the worst one possible, even if the odds were highly against him with it.

"They're progressing through the tunnels! We have to move!"

But where!? Options were severely limited in this place, especially since the main way of escape was blocked by the teacher and the elevator was still destroyed so that couldn't be used. "We're we suppose to go, our options are limited?" Finally decided to make his voice known, he brought up the dilemma before them. What his hope was that someone had a way of escape.

Poke had finished watching others, so he decided to inspect his scabbards. Sitting down, he looked at them, and saw how clean they were, despite all the dust accumulating in other parts of the room. Maybe magic was keeping the dust bunnies away from the scabbards? He made a mental note to experiment with them later, but that would probably be much, much later, seeing that they were in a pretty bad situation. He wasn't a fool, they were outmatched. No matter how much students there were, four teachers that were much more experienced than they were in magic could easily beat the odds, and murder them all. And speaking of murder...

"I can't find Abi, Have you seen her?"

Uh oh. That didn't sound good. Abi...She was one of his classmates in Monster Anatomy. He quickly got up and looked around. No sight of her. That must mean she was still in the tunnel. He made to walk over to one, to call for her. Maybe she was nearby and could hear her way in to this room? It was worth a try. Just as he reached one of the tunnels, he heard two bangs.

    BANG BANG!

He froze. Those noises came from the tunnel in front of him. "No..." He ran. He went towards the source of the noise, desperate that one of the group had just been killed. He stopped, and heard quite clearly,

"This is your fault Nadine! You just had to blabber on didn’t you? And now they have the stone, this is not acceptable, would it have killed any of you to try and stop the students from running away?”

He was standing near the edge of a corner, his heart beating rapidly. He was sure of it, they were right near him. He took a quick peek, saw the teachers, and someone on the floor, someone that looked quite like--

NO! He wanted to kill them, to get revenge for what they did to Abi. But he had to get himself under control. He could maybe hurt one, but the others would react faster than he could finish one off. Tears fell from his eyes, and he tried to rubb them away, but they wouldn't stop. He turned back, and left Abi, a classmate that had been killed at such a young age. Unfortunately, he didn't realize that his tears would create a faint trail leading towards their room. Good job, Poke! You and your stupid antics.

When he came back, his face was red, and he was breathing heavily. The sight traumatized him, and would probably scar him for life. She didn't do anything to deserve this.

"They're progressing through the tunnels! We have to move!"

He snapped back to reality. Right, an escape route. He quickly ran towards the center hole, and looked up again, this time squinting to avoid the light from burning his eyes. He stepped back, and looked around. It was a stupid idea, but what else could they do? The spell wore off, and the mysterious voice wasn't there to help them...Yet? He didn't know, and he wasn't going to stand and wait.

"We could try and climb the hole. Maybe pile up some old weapons, climb ourselves out, help each other up? It looks long and dangerous, but it's the best we got." He noticed Alayah nearby, and his voice got stuck in his throat. They must have been friends, her and Abi. "Alayah, Abi's..." He didn't want to finish the sentence, hoping that Alayah got the message. Not yet would he speak his words. There was a chance of escape, however ridiculous it seemed, and he had to focus.

Artan now willingly followed Grace, all signs of his previous panic completely disappeared asides from his torn clothes and cobweb filled ginger locks. Shaking himself and wiping away the worse of the dirt, the sight of the piles upon piles of weapons filling the room was a view to behold - forcing the young man to place his glasses upon the bridge of his nose to get a better look. "My goodness... Look at all of them! Swords, guns, staffs, spears..." With a delusion of awe, Artan pushed past various students towards the array of guns littered about the place. He could certainly find use with these, and would be able to fix those that weren't past repair - those that were would be used towards upgrades and modifications.

But there was one pair of guns that certainly caught his eyes, him reaching over a pile of rusted swords to reach the pair - dual caliber 98.s. Pulling them close towards him, he gingerly inspected them before opening the clip. No ammo but no matter, it could be found all too easily. Slamming the cartridge back inside of the mechanism, a quick flick of his index fingers tested both gun's firing abilities to find them working almost perfectly. The left trigger had a slight delay and the right's safety was faulty, but otherwise perfect until tested with ammo. "Grace, over here! I've found some guns suitable!" He called, grinning happily. This was just making his inner dorky, mechanical nerd glow. "And the others! I can fix them if I get the right parts! Maybe a few of the other weapons too!"

At this, his voice carried over the rest of the student body group, letting all to hear Artan's announcement of his ability to fix any broken weapons - a handy skill and desperately needed within the situation they were in.

Luna looked at the wall of weapons, all lined up nicely and evenly. "Hmmm... What would come in handy?" She stared. No swords, no guns, she was hopeless at using them. She was about to ask Angela, when something caught her eye. It was a stick-like weapon. Blunt and perfect for incapacitating, but not killing. "Oooh, this is perfect!" She picked it up. "Oof... Kinda heavy..." Luna looked over to Angela and the others. "Hey guys! There's weapons over here!"

Angela came over and glanced at the weapons. "Hm... Something ranged would work for me..." It was then that a double-barreled pistol caught her eye. Her face lit up immediately. "Wow, this is awesome!" She picked it up, along with the ammo that was strapped to it. She strapped the ammo to her leg, and twirled the gun on her trigger finger. "Awww yeah..." Angela said with a smile. "Let's see... I'll call you... Fairy Lights." She then picked up a whip, which she knew would be helpful if Fairy Lights ran out of ammo. "This may come in handy later." Angela smiled, clipping it to her belt.

Luna glanced at her staff, unsure what to name it. Deciding she'd name it later, she strung it across her back. "What about you Ayer? What are you gonna take?"

Lucas smirked when Rogan mentioned his lack of weapons training. He was born into a house where knives were practically shoved in his hands as an infant, even though he wasn't great with them, someone who had no weapon experience perplexed him. As Alayah spoke, he tuned out, gripping his sword's hilt absentmindedly. He should name it. All great swords have names, don't they? Hmm...he needed something edgy for sure. Lucas was in the thick of think of names when he finally caught the noises.

    BANG! BANG!

Unfortunate yet inevitable. Berial thought to himself. He allowed a grimace to extend across his face at first but it receded back to his normal demeanor. He didn't have time to let emotions slow him down. He had to think rationally. He heard suggestions come from around the room and made an audible scoff at Poke's comment. "Pft. Yeah, we'll clmb up on a pile of deadly assorted blades and firearms. That sounds both safe AND practical! Let's climb these rusty swords, hope everybody's had their Tetanus shots!" The young man said, his words dripping with sarcastic bite. He turned his gaze from Poke and eyed the others, a smug frown on his face. He didn't have an idea himself, but he'd be damned if these *******s got away with not having one.

Zauriel tried to hide his disappointment when the wall opened away...he had really wanted to try his hand at the wall-ramming game. But alas, such was life-wait a minute, they're in the middle of a disaster! Yes, that's right. They were chosen for special seating inside the tower during the festival (not disastrous yet), he made two new friends (definitely not disastrous), two professors attacked them (disastrous?), the president of Lorima was attacked according to an announcement (definitely disastrous, but that was an adult matter), professors trapped them along with some other evil-doer before they were saved by some unknown spell which allowed them to escape...but then they became lost. Then they were trapped. Then his powers decided that he should have been born a cat. Then he couldn't find an exit. Then he missed out on the game (possibly the most disastrous thing that has happened all day!). Then Kendric found a moving wall (they made those?! Zauriel should invest in one for his bedroom). Then someone went missing (though Zauriel was having trouble keeping up with all of his classmates anyway). And now Zauriel was looking at all of the weapons laid out around them.

As he replayed the day's events in his head, he still failed to make sense out of any of it (especially the wall-ramming game. Did the other shapeshifter win? What were the rules? WHAT WERE THE RULES?!). Regardless, Zauriel moved around the room, making sure that both Drei and Mya were always in his peripherals. Nothing really stuck out to him, despite how elegant and elaborate they all were. Besides, why need weapons when you have magic? Especially magic that allowed you to change your forms even if you could not control that magic. Perhaps, if for some reason, you were out of magical energy -a situation in which Zauriel had often found himself- or if your magic was ineffective against someone like, say... evil professors. Deciding that he should grab something, at least temporarily, for protecting Mya and Drei.

But what should he grab? Before he could make a decision, the sounds of gunshots rang out. Zauriel's head jerked to look at Mya and Drei before he looked around. As everyone shuffled around, Zauriel decided that it was time to decide. He glanced around and laid his eyes upon a silver sheath, encrusted with small green jewels. Now if there was anything that you should know about Zauriel, it's that he LOVES the color green. In fact, his parents would often joke that Zauriel came out of the womb with grass-colored skin. However, now was not the time to think about how wonderful green is. Zauriel stepped forward quickly and grabbed the sheath in his left hand. It was cold, made out of some time of form of steel. He grabbed the hilt, made out of a similar steel, and noted that the the sword's hilt was unusually long, with a single, small emerald encrusted in it. Zauriel slowly pulled the blade out, enjoying that it was a long sword as he was considered quite lanky. The blade was perfectly clean, as if it was never used, and much lighter than it looked. It was nothing special, but a weapon may be helpful in the future. He resheathed the blade and attached to the back of his belt. Hm, perfect fit. How...peculiar. Quietly, Zauriel turned to face the others, specifically Mya, and nodded.

Grace frowned, not really liking the choices that were around them. Guns were far too commonly used for her taste and much to noisy, especially if they needed to sneak around or something. Swords were too common as well and she didn't want to keep it hanging on her side or have to struggle with getting it out of the sheath. She was a rather small girl after all. So many things to consider and she hardly had any time to analyse any of them. Although she seemed like it most of the time, she wasn't the type of person to judge things for their looks. She wanted something that could be of use to her, something that she could learn to use easily and that could be very effective.

She tapped her arms as she walked around the room, inspecting any weapon that caught her eyes. It was a few minutes before she stopped by a bisento. Although she wasn't much of a fan of long blades, it did strike her fancy. A staff attached to the end could allow her to attack from a bit of a distance and was very sharp so that she could easily get it back and not have to worry about it being stuck in her enemies. She reached over to it, picking it up so she could look it over more closely now. It did have a few dings and scratches along it but still felt strong. something she seemed to really like.

Looking over to Artan, she smiled and nodded to him, knowing that if this weapon were to ever fail her, that him of all people would be able to help fix it or something. She adjusted her bag, making a makeshift carrier so she didn't have to hold it in her hand the whole time. She never really liked holding things for too long. Once finished, she placed the bisento onto it and slung back onto her.

She shortly after made her way to Artan as the gunshots were heard, her instantly rushing the rest of the way and getting in defense mode. No matter what, she wasn't going to let him out of her sight again, not since he'd be rather useful in this situation. 'Damnit, they're going to becoming eventually. Just as I thought I could relax. I better keep my guard up now.'

Ayer noticed that Kendric was much to distracted, him having ignored his questioning complete. 'I guess we'll just take them and figure out what to do when the time comes.' He shook his head, moving over and walking over to the weapons. Many of the students were excited to have them but he never liked using such things. He never had lessons and didn't really see a point for them. He was a simple commoner and was raised to use his words over anything. But now wasn't the time to think of it that when since they were in danger.

He picked up a few of them, most not feeling too right. Some he didn't even know how to even use them. 'This is just too complicated.' He shook his head as he put one of the guns back down at he had picked up before looking over to Luna. "Oh, well I'm not too sure. There are many good ones here but I just feel incapable of learning to use any of them." He laughed a bit, rubbing the back of his head as he pondered on about it.

Suddenly, he jumped a bit as he heard the shoots coming from the tunnel and Celeste's shouting, it making him much more rushed than he was previously. "Well now's no the best time to put that much time into thinking about this." He quickly reached over, picking up some rather odd looking staff with a moon crescent on one end and a shovel looking blade at the other. "I suppose this is what will have to do. May come in handy." He smiled, showing Luna as he looked over to make sure Angela was still okay even though they were all together.

    ~Naomi Lockhart~

Naomi stared down at the student, watching as the blood spilled down the floor and filled the small cracks along it. it made her rather eager now, always having loved the colors of such a thing. 'Sweet blood of the innocent. Shame that she was already dead.' She tried to contain herself from wanting more, not liking to show anyone just how mad she could get when she released her blood lust.

She turned her attention to Sarah then, noticing how loud she was being even after shooting her gun like it was nothing. 'This woman is really something. We could of kept quiet but that can never happen with her about.' She leaned back against the wall, crossing her arms as she looked down the tunnel. There was so many of them but her only really cared for one thing really. 'Now, where has that bastard run off to. Either him or his little girly would be fine. If I find her, he is sure to come.' She grinned to herself, loving the sense of torture she could use to get the boy to regret ever doing what he did to her.

Alayah turned to the boy that was speaking to her. "Alayah, Abi's..." Trailing off, he watched her nervously. She blinked, already freaked by the sound of the two gunshots heard earlier. "...She... she's gone," she said. "She was gone, and then the shots... and I can't find her... she's... They caught her, didn't they?"
She bit her bottom lip and waited anxiously, although she knew. She knew the answer, but she couldn't help but hope, hope that he would say no, hope that he would tell her that her new friend had not been killed. Not here. Not now. Not Abi. Not hours after she had first met her.

Rogan looked at the boy talking to his sister in bewilderment, contemplating his suggestion to climb on top of the weapons. Climb on top of the weapons? To what end? How would that help them? Then Lucas's brother spoke, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he belittled the boy for even trying to come up with a plan. Normally, Rogan wouldn't step in where he wassn't already involved, but he'd had it with this brother. First he shoved Lucas into his path with a smirk, then he kicked and insulted his brother during a panic attack, and now he humiliated a stranger in front of the entire group, causing the mood to get even worse.
"You know," Rogan said quietly. "I agree that it might not be the best plan, but there's no need to be rude about it. If we're going to get out of this alive, we're going to need to rely on each other, all of us. If you don't have a better idea, than bide your tongue until someone comes up with a better one."
He turned to the boy, Kendric, who seemed to be a natural leader, and waited patiently. He was not trained for situations like this, he had no idea how to lead in a fight. But he would do what he needed to, he would do what Kendric told him to, and he would do it to the best of his ability.

Kendric looked up at the skylight. That was what made this room brighter than the tunnels outside. It seemed like he wasn't the only one thinking of using that to escape. Splitting into groups was something they could think about later, though Kendric was already having ideas on who could go with who. He scratched his chin as he stared up at the hole in the ceiling. For all he knew, maybe that wasn't even real sunlight. The Tower was a strange place.

Abi wasn't there anymore. He didn't want to believe she was... 'No. Keep it together!' Now wasn't the time for doubts. "The only way out seems to be up. Going back only leads us back to them." He looked over towards Celeste. "Maybe we can find a way up that doesn't involve stacking things up to get there." He scratched the back of his head. "I guess a shapeshifter could fly up that skylight and see what's up there..." Though as he said it, he realized who he was speaking to. Kendric definitely didn't want Celeste going up there. What if it was dangerous?

"Maybe there's a switch...or lever...or button we can press for a ladder or something!" It sounded stupider out loud than it did in his head. The gunshots and the fact that the adults were coming after him didn't unnerve him. The fact that they already lost someone did. Was it cold to just keep moving on as if nothing happened? The thought of being stuck here in the tunnels like sitting ducks reminded him otherwise.

It was the same voice as before, though it seemed to be a little impatient. This time only the students could hear it but as it spoke a loud thud echoed throughout the room. A ladder had slid down from the skylight. Someone was intent on having them get out of there alive.

"Um...thank you mysterious voice!" Kendric called out, moving towards the ladder. It looked sturdy enough. "We can talk about that group stuff once we're out of this place." Without any other words, he started to climb.

"All you managed to do was kill one student." Nadine retorted, folding her arms as she turned away from Sarah. "We could have used her as bait."

"Enough talk. Both of you. It took a good deal of power to overcome whoever cast that spell. It would seem an outside party is involved." Taras growled lowly. This did set back their plans a bit. While the stone was not a one-of-a-kind item, it was difficult to find and even more difficult to extract it. He looked over towards the destroyed elevator shaft, wondering how long it would be until Shade arrived. Judging from the announcement, Shade had been successful. The students would be taking the fall and this would leave them plenty of time to continue with their plans once the stone was retrieved.

"Well I can still sense those children. It's faint but they're still down here." Out of the five, Nadine was the most talented at picking out auras at a distance. Her sixth sense was more finely tuned due to the nature of her branch of magic. "Come along, they have something that belongs to us."

He looked around, trying to find some objects he could use to make a safe pile when he heard Berial's comment. And today's unlucky winner in Piss Off Poke and get Sliced to Death is Berial! Without a second thought, he unsheathed one of his swords and pointed it at Berial. He was already in a terrible mood thanks to seeing a dead student, but being scoffed at and put down just made him angry. And by angry I mean Hulk angry. Consumed with rage and resent, he was going to brutally slice the guy apart without sparing a single thought when he froze, hearing Rogan speak.

"I agree that it might not be the best plan, but there's no need to be rude about it. If we're going to get out of this alive, we're going to need to rely on each other, all of us."

He sighed, trying to control himself. He was grateful to Rogan for helping him, but that relying on each other thing? Sorry, but he had to stamp the big N on that most definitely helpful tip. And then, he heard a voice. He recognized it as the same voice that helped them earlier by casting the spell.

"Must I do everything for you children?"

He looked around, trying to find the source, but just like last time, the voice came from...Everywhere, really. So instead of finding where the voice came from, he looked to see what was different. His first instinct was at the hole in the roof, and he was right to look there. He found a ladder fall down. "Huh...Thanks, Mighty Gandalf the Grey...Or in this case, white." That's right, he broke the wall.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Kendric testing the ladder, and seeming to deem it safe, start to climb it. Taking one last look at Berial, he gave him a scowl. "Careful with what you say. It's clear that's not your strong suit." He put his sword back in to it's scabbard and walked towards the ladder, and called up to Kendric as a reply to his suggestion of group chatting later, "You're the boss~." He took one last look around the room, and noticed something. The entrances were gone. Did they get covered? How didn't he notice before? Well, it was good news, 'cause that meant that the four muske-jerks had one more obstacle in their way. Smirking at the thought, he climbed up the ladder, eager to get out of the danger zone.

Knowing that everyone was getting impatient, especially after those two gun-shots were heard, it was only a matter of time before everyone freaked beyond help. Xane also knew that he wasn't an exception to that either. Hearing the gun shots and learning about the missing student he could figure out what happened pretty quickly, upset that one of them had already been taken down. While there wasn't much he could have done inside the room, or even against those people, Xane couldn't help feel partly responsible for what happened.

Trying to forget about the gun shots, he scanned the room another time. He couldn't find any way out besides the light coming from above, but he wasn't entirely content with stacking stuff to get up; mainly because the stacked items would all be weapons, and he wasn't fond of seeing what would happen when all the guns went off accidentally. Then, out of nowhere, the mysterious voice appeared.

"Must I do everything for you children?"
Then, without notice, a ladder dropped from the ceiling, leading up towards the opening in the roof. Xane just stared at the ladder for a sec, dumbfounded. This person was able to use a spell strong enough to stall the adults, and yet he couldn't lower a single ladder when they needed it?
"Ok, whoever you are, when I find you, remind me to belt you one, because if you new about this, what the heck took so long helping us out!?" He shouted toward empty air, in the middle of all of other students. He was not going to let this one go, since they were all in danger, and this was the only way out. Then he noticed Kendric start to climb the ladder, and Xane figured he might as well start too, since waiting around here wasn't going to get them anywhere.

"I guess a shapeshifter could fly up that skylight and see what's up there..."

Celeste shot him an offended look even though she knew he never meant to offend her, but sometimes she just wondered if he noticed that she never really liked her powers. Ever. They've only been a limitation and a burden to her all her life. It branded her and she hated it. She was different, which generally she wouldn't have minded but she was different from the Abelards. She felt it brought shame to her family's name. It really upset her sometimes but since her friend was preoccupied with thinking of ways to escape she brushes it off with a sigh and shakes her head.

"Maybe there's a switch...or lever...or button we can press for a ladder or something!"

She let them think of way to escape, the air of hopelessness kind of reminded her of her exhaustion from her last transformation. Knowing her powers, they wouldn't be returning soon anyway. She poked the edge of her rapier on the floor as she leaned back on the handle of her hand cannon for support. She closed her eyes, not just because she was drained but also because if she wasn't going to help out with the escape plan - she might as well keep track, or rather her ears, on the bad guys who were by the tunnels. She tried to block out all her other senses to enhance her hearing and picked up almost nothing, which meant either of two s-lettered things: they were still or they were sneaky. She hoped they were just not moving.

"Must I do everything for you children?"
She closed her eyes tightly as the voice cried through the room, ringing into her keen bunny ears that erected in shock and flopped down after the voice's last word. She opened her eyes finally, suddenly seeing a rope ladder drop down from above. It was really odd. Someone - no one anyone knew for sure - was helping them out, while people who they knew practically all their lives were out to kill them. Ironic wasn't it? Though she only shrugged at it, while muttering "Wow, well, this is so convenient."
"Um...thank you mysterious voice! We can talk about that group stuff once we're out of this place."

Celeste turned to her friend who started at the ladder, she nodded in agreement of what he just said then hoisted her Rapier-Edged Hand Cannon properly with confidence. She looked at the other students. "Everyone up the ladder now! No exceptions! Follow Kendric, he'll keep you safe." she yelled out, as she looked up at her dark haired friend who continued to climb up the ladder. She smiled slightly, at the thought of him leading everyone to safety - because she believed that out of everyone in the school he would be the one to do it. Kendric was like a guardian, and did a real good job at it too. However, she was sure others were shocked of her finally speaking up after so long. She was usually the quiet, timid shapeshifter who couldn't control her powers and kept away from socializing since she believed all she needed was one friend (and mostly because others bullied her) but with her family's weapon in hand and the battlefield atmosphere - she felt like what she always wanted and will be: a soldier.

The pearl bunny eared teenager, stood at a stance in front of where the walls first opened up. She held the front of her hand cannon with her left hand then kept her right hand on the handle with her finger on the trigger. If anything happened, she would be ready - plus, with her bunny ears, she would be able to predict their coming. She knew she was the right person to wait up for everyone to get up the ladder and escape into safety. Only she could do it. Celeste raised the weapon to eye level, ready to shoot at the first sight of any of them. She breathed out, shaking almost since she was actually really scared but she knew she had to do this to keep everyone safe.

The gunshots made her jump and turn. This is no time to dawdle around. We need to get out of here before they catch us! She holstered the weapon and made a silent apology to whoever made the weapon before turning to Zauriel and the others. "We gotta get out. They're gonna kill us all...no...I don't wanna..." She held her head painfully as images shot through her head. Images of a large man. A dark room. A gun aimed at her head. They all rushed at her. She didn't even know why they rushed at her at a time like this. It made no sense. She probably would've collapsed from the sudden rush and shock until the same voice from before rang through her head.
"Must I do everything for you children?"
Her eyes snapped open, regaining her senses. She then noticed the ladder fall from the ceiling of the room. There was no doubt. Someone...or something was trying to save them for some unknown reason. Why? What will it achieve? It wasn't worth asking. She decided to take the chance to leave. "There's our way out of here! Cmon!" She grabbed Zauriel and Deri's hands and led them to the ladder. She then looked at Celeste. She never bothered to know her nor did she care, but this wasn't a time to put ignorance in this setting. With some difficulty, she grabbed Celeste's shoulder. "Look...I appreciate what you're gonna do, but it's not worth it. One of us already didn't make it. I don't want another one falling to the hands of death." It wasn't just her, but everyone who was with her. If she was gonna die, it was as sure as hell not gonna be here.

Alayah closed her eyes and put her hand over her mouth; finally accepting Abi's death. With the tunnels closed off and the teachers close behind, she knew that Abi could not have escaped from them.
She stood there silently for a few minutes, as the other students moved to follow Kendric up the ladder. She knew she had to follow him to safety, but... she hated that she would have to leave her new friend behind.
Feeling a hand on her shoulder, she turned to see Rogan looking at her in concern. He didn't have to say anything, she could tell by his face that he'd figured out what was wrong, and was silently trying to tell her that everything would be okay.
In that moment, the situation suddenly got very real. She took a deep breath.
"I'm alright," she said, giving him an almost smile and wiping a few stray tears from her face. "There will be time to feel sad about her later. Right now, we've gotta get away, before we end up the same way."
Rogan squeezed her shoulder comfortingly before putting his hand down. "And people say you aren't strong," he said. "Now get up that ladder. I'll be right behind you."
Alayah turned and looked once more at the wall where the tunnel had been before moving to climb up the ladder.

Rogan walked back over to where he had left Lucas a moment before; he had seen that Alayah was upset and had guessed at the issue, so he had excused himself for a moment to go try and comfort her as best he could.
Now he was back and as ready as he could be to do whatever it took to get them all out to safety. "Well," he said with a sigh. "Here goes nothing."
Turning, he began to walk towards the ladder, trusting that the girl who was friends with Kendric would not stay behind if she couldn't handle herself. Judging by the weapon she had chosen (he still had no idea what it was) she definitely was capable, and there was a certain air about her that subtly said that she was a soldier, through and through.
She was probably from Wendel. A citizen of Wendel whose family was a respectable weapons dealer could pretty much be trusted to know when to fight or flee. And in a situation like this, Rogan had to trust those with military training over those who truly had no idea what to do in situations of duress. Namely, him. He was at home in a library, not the battle-field.
He was suddenly struck with the humor of the situation: They were all in grave danger, the situation of their national peace was degrading what with the attack on the president, they were being hunted by some of the greatest mages he had ever known, and one of their number was already dead, a friend to his sister, no less. And he was thinking about books.
Just like me, he thought. Oh, wouldn't my family be oh-so-proud?

"Must I do everything for you children?"

The more and more this mysterious voice continued to help them, the more Drei was getting curious about who exactly this person was. If he, assuming it was a guy, could do all this, then why did he just take care of the crazed teachers trying to kill them, or at least make it so that they wouldn't be in this situation in the first place. This question would have to wait since with the ladder falling down and Kendric testing it, they now had a descent was of escape. With Mya's guidance, he ended up at the ladder and began to climb. On his way up he occasionally looked back to see where the others were. Some where actually getting on the ladder to while others were still waiting. Wonder if we'll get to ask of 'savoir' some questions. that was what he was really concerned with, aside form getting out alive. For all they now, this could lead to another trap or right into a madman's hands. Still, those options seemed better than being killed down here or dealing with what would happen to them if they were to get out of this mess somehow with the mysterious person's help.

As the pain form earlier subsided, Zelos got himself off of Julia and headed towards the ladder along with the others.
