Save the Vowels!

Well, more people in America are becoming illitarate, as evidenced by most of this fourm, so save the vowels!

 

not only that, they suck at math now too! i tutor 4th and 5th graders and help them on their homework. ALOT of them can't even f**king add! i can't walk them through the addition every time. they need to try harder. i guess the reason is because of laziness for the most part, or maybe sucky parents

Not just the vowels but the consinets to. Atleast the vowels get shortened to words such as 'u'

I can spell! My keyboard doesn't always listen, but I can spell!! As for math...No way man! I am absolutly HORRIBLE at everything in the math world but geometry for some reason.....It annoys me so...

Hmmm I had this discussion in a lecture not too long ago! Some people believe that the stripping of the language to it's bare minimum is just part of a natural progression of the English language; a language that has evolved and addapted since the Celts. Personally though I think that is no excuse! I helped tutor some 8th graders who couldn't spell tomorrow! Well thats my lecture over and done with...:p

Sorry, I only type like that when I'm on Runescape. The only reason is When I'm talking to my friends they do it. And if I dont; I can't keep up with the conversation.

I love that thing! :D It really does annoy me when people are all "OMG! Lol pwning n00bs iz vhat i d0!" It's annoying, but if they do do that, I cant really hate them for it. Thier just being themselves.

 

here is my policy: 'txt tlk' is acceptable on mmo's and maybe IM/PM ing, but not forums.NEVER on forums. the point of forums is to get people to listen, not confuse the hell out of them.
