Zelidar: The Land of the Sky

Grabbing his staff, Haff listened intently. He didn't understand a thing that was going on. This was all getting really weird, so very weird.

"Human. I don't understand your words, but I want you to answer me something. What is your opinion on your kind?"

I looked up at the girl as he laid on the ground. His face was hard as stone when he made his statement.

Background- After her husband died in battle she was left in charge of Evieri. Since people are still upset about his death not all people are thrilled to see his wife at the throne instead which causes people to not trust her causing many people to attempt to overthrow her. Most of her advisers are against her fighting with belkin.

 

Vanessa stood back up, shaking her head at a rapid speed to relieve it of grass and whatnot. All the girls thoughts were coming out into one big babble, and it was getting to be rather irritating for the entity to withstand.
"Will you slow down?" She demanded, looking at the floor in concentration. "Christ, you think like you've been on crack or something." Blinking several times, the entity sighed and tried again to read what was going through the girls mind.

(OOC: apologies for lack or postage, people. Oh, and Random angel might not be posting as much due to stuff =/)

Her sheild was gone now and she looked towards Vyse. "End this? But I was just starting to have real fun." Her gun dispersed into lievne, ready to be formed into anything that she might need when he attacked her.

Yuki's face brightened up at the fox's comments. I was odd to be talking to a fox, but knowing there was someone else like her made it so that she didn't have to be alone.

Yuki opened her mouth to reply, but was cut off by the thing with the staff. She really didn't like him. "My kind? As far as I understand I'm no longer human. And so far I only met two people like me, just now, so no opinion. But on humans... I never did like them." And just thinking of humans brought back the thought of her stalker. Humans really were disgusting.

Yuki then turned to Vanessa and nodded. Since she was kind, even if it was only acting, Yuki felt like she liked her so far. She cleared up her head as much as she cloud, leaving it blank besides the constant pain that bothered her.



The princess helped clear the way, but there was too many shadows to worry about them all. Soon they met up with some guards who compained them. She'd have to ask them how did this happen later, but for now it might be best to keep up her nice persona.

They came to a hallway which appeared empty. "This looks alright..."

"Letting the guards take care of them, are we? Sounds good to me!" Said Callen happily. Anything that didn't involve him having to fight sounded good to him.

 

Haff sat up slowly, groaning from the pain he had suffered. Just like these creatures to resort to violence. It didn't even resort to a defensive stance. He hadn't even struck her, just tried to show he was no pushover. Still, this was interesting.

Eyeing up the woman with the knives, he began to project his thoughts to her. "Vanessa, this one could be useful to us. On top of that, she trusts you. Have her come to our side. Think of her as... a sidekick."

Taking up the rear, the prince protected the little group. He didn't know what was going on, but he'd find out soon enough.

 

Kitsu noticed his words made the girlz face happier so he guessed the mysterious pain that hit the others disappeard. The Flower Fox looked at Huff with eyes that told him he was uncomfortable with two humens coming with but he could handle being with two humens. The Growth Entity sighed if one more humen joined the group it would be way too uncomfortable for the fox to handle.

 

Smiling as he ran, Vyse acted as if he was about to slash her, only to bend the gravity around her at the last minute. He jumped over her, soaring to the edge of the deck, wincing due to the cut on his chest, and landed on the rail, whistling. Legeia, responding to his whistle, roared and soared down behind him. "I'm sorry, oh lovely Amber, but we'll have to finish this some other time," he smirked as he jumped on Legeia, and headed towards the Arcadia. She shouldn't be able to catch up, the Arcadia was faster, had a headstart, and was headed in the opposite direction. He kept his eyes on Amber, nonetheless, just in case she had a trick up her sleeve.

 

"So..." Callen said causally while placing his hands behind his head. "I don't suppose that any of you know what those strange creatures were. I've never heard of anything like them before."

 

Ea stood in her room with her sword out, which is an extremely rare sight, fighting off the shadows as they came swarming at her. After about 10 minutes she managed to get out of her room and into the hall. She continued fighting them until at one point she got into a room where no shadows where there. In there was a guard with all the people who worked in the kitchen. "Guard do you happen to know how these creatures got here?"
"I'm sorry your highness but I do not. but they are starting to over-populate and we are all worried."
"Does this happen to deal with the prisoner who we caught just this morning?"
"Sorry, Your majesty, but I do not know the answer to that question."

Angin finished packing up all her stuff and started leaving for the road. Evieri wasn't a fun place to walk around but she figured it would be worth the trouble. Plus it wasn't worth staying in Vendel anymore. After a few minutes of looking back she headed off on the road towards the city of Cornil.

 

OOC: Ok, I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to be a tad rude here. The rules clearly state to Pm me your char. And this is a good example why. Humans don't have the power to turn into fog.

"Ok, I was wrong", Serena panted.

She had now been walking for well over 2 hours and was still about five miles away from waht she now saw to be a rather large town. She still had no idea where she was and she was beginning to become tired and very thirsty.

"If only I had wings", she cried, I would already be there."

She entertained the thought for a second as she imagined herself soaring high above the land below her.

However, she had no longer snapped out of this reverie when she felt a tingling sensation in her shoulder blades. She looked over her shoulder and took a doule take, cricking her neck.

Two wings had sprouted out of the shoulder blades. One was a sort of speckled brown color and went down to her waste, folded. The other was like an angel's wing, briliant white, reaching down to the ground. She flexed them, finding the smaller one easier to move as she had suspected although she was still reeling in shock.

"How did I do that? I'm no shaper and these things are quite real."

She flexed the wings again, all feeling of fatigue and thirst gone. She found it quite like moving an arm or a leg and after about fifteen minutes, she felt confident about them.

"Lets see these in action, I don't want to go too far or I could fall and hurt myself", she said out loud.

She geared herself up, began running and flapped the wings a few times.

To her surprise she began flying but because the wings were of different sizes, she merely flew in a n anti cockwise direction. She was only a few feet off the ground so she decided to stop and land on her feet.

"This is going to be more complex than I thought", she said.

"Still, it could be fun!".

So she began flying in a sort of wobly path, landing every so often, beating one wing faster than the other."

Background- Dike always lived in the shadows with his family it was how things where. Every day his boss would send him off somewhere to eliminate someone Dike would just looked down at the bloody body then walk away. Dike been trained by his parents and even the boss himself.One day his parents got killed durring an assasination. Then his own boss got killed by an assasin that did betrayed the society. Now Dike is the only assasin currently now looking for anywhere to assigned an assasination job so he can survive through the hard times.

 

OOC: RECAP

I'm no good at recaps, so here's a brief one. Evieri's palace is overrun by shadows and they are after Callen. Callen is with the princess and prince. they have just escaped from a bunch of shadows.

The entity of Sence and mutation are fighting. The entity of pain, awareness, and growth are teaming up with Haff and are in the Jetail forest. The two air pirates have finished fighting.

I'm sure I'm missed some things. So feel free to add to this.

As for the other characters,
Callen, Princess Surren, and Prince Envon are still in the castle fighting Shadows. They managed to fnid a safe hallway and let the guards fight the rest of the shadows.
DeathKingApocalypse hasn't posted with his characters.
Yuki made friends with Kitsu, Haff, and Vanessa after bringing them pain (her power) Haff thinks Vanessa should befriend Yuki in order to use her.
Angin left to walk around Eveiri. Queen Ea fought Shadows in her room and asked a guard how the Shadows got in but he didn't know.
Princess_of_hearts and SHadow_Rocks haven't posted either.
Serena just discovered her power to grow wings but the wings are lopsided so she has trouble flying. She's headed towaRDS Xiollo.
My character Vyse was fighting AMber Black on her ship, but he jumped off, landed on his drake and is escaping towards his ship.
That's it.


BIC: As he walked around, Rhone made up his mind to find the docks. Before he was unsure; he knew he wanted to explore the world, but he's never traveled on an airship before. Now he would and see what else Zelidar has to show.
