    The Armored figure looked up at the group before it, leaning on it's key-sword. Every one of them except for Shane and Zephry had sustained significant damage, and one had fallen, but they were all more than a match to what the creature can handle. Slowly, the Lingering Will stood at full height, looking as if it haven't been damaged at all.
    Operator, who was also looking worse for wear, tensed again, sensing that the enemy's sudden fatigue was a fluke. But the creature didn't attack, instead, it turned around and raised it's keyblade to an area in the desert. The tip of the blade sparkled, and a beam of light shot out, hitting a spot within the air. Immediately, the simulation vanished in a flash, revealing the same old arena-based area, doors appearing where the beam of light had hit. The figure then stuck it's keyblade in the ground in front of the party, kneeling in front of it. Then it lay still.
    Suddenly, it's armor collapsed, it's helmet, torso, chest, hands, everything, revealing nothing but air. The keyblade itself began to morph and shrink into a more compact version as the armor pieces vanished.
    Operator relaxed in relief as he fell on his knees, exhausted. After he took a moment, he stood back up, trudging slowly to the keyblade, lifting it from the ground. He turned to the others, asking
    "Who's taking this?"

    Tessa shrank back from the strange weapon. "Never trust something you find off an enemy." She wasn't sure who had told that particular verse to her, but it struck a cord with her now. "Not me." She turned, and without another word, headed towards the doors that the weapon had revealed. She didn't need anything other then herself to survive.

    Meanwhile in the break room (it had a name, he just couldn't remember, or really give a damn about remembering) Remy flipped one of his cards. An ace to be exact. To be even more exact, the ace of spades. Why? He didn't know. Just tossed it up, watching it slowly turn sideways in the air, before falling back down, to fit perfectly between his middle and index finger. Over, and over, and over he did this. Why, you ask? He was bored. Remy had been promised glory, fighting, and there might have been an offer of a woman or two in there, and here he was. Tossing the ace of spades up and down, waiting for the promises. With his luck, this might turn out to be a slaver ring. Ah well, he could still get everything they promised. With a little more gore as a side special.

    Alexis let out a sigh of relief as the armour fell to the ground and her own illusion faded. She put her hand to her head trying to keep herself from getting too dizzy. Even inside an area of her own making in her mind, she still could get disoriented and dizzy when she came out of it. After a moment she had cleared her head and could focus on what was here and now. They were talking about taking the weapon that the man was using, but Alexis could care less. Alexis waved it off. "I don't much care for it either." She spoke as she headed for the door. She had enough with that fight. Alexis was starting to hate fighting more and more, but if it was the only way for her to be free and build a life of her own, then she would do it, she had to do it.

    Samuel held back an annoyed sigh as he could see a man playing around with a card out of the corner of his eye. Why did people have to fidget so much sometimes? Part of him wanted to ask the man to stop, but the other part of him, was telling him to keep his mouth shut. Eventually it got too much. Slowly and silently Samuel brought a throwing star up from it's holding place on his belt. As the man tossed the card up again, Samuel flicked his wrist and threw the star at the card. It pierced right through the spade symbol in the middle and pinned it to the wall. Samuel then simply looked back down and continued to read the science book that was in his lap in silence. Well it wasn't so much reading as scanning the pages and letting his photographic memory take in all the details in a near instant.

    Alpha watched quietly as the two boys waited patiently by doing what they did best, her face set in a disatisfied smirk. Why'd she enter a rather large, random tower with those idiots again? Oh right. She had received an anonymous tip that 'he' was going to be here. Omega. X7217. Her partner, and her victim. The moment that she stepped to the door of the tower and her vision sphere indicated that Omega was here in this very tower confirmed that he was yet again alive and kicking. Just what she needed.
    The card-flipping gambler must've got on the grey-haired teen's nerves, because the teen had suddenly pulled out a throwing star and let it rip, hitting an ace of spades out of the air in record timing. Impressive. For a regular Metahuman. In all seriousness, she was also getting a little annoyed with the card-throwers antics. He held some kind of boisterous air to him that made Alpha want to pull out one of her Cleavers and rip 'im a new one. But she couldn't, for the sole reason that this entire Tower was a death trap, from top to bottom. And even if the card-thrower or the Ninja Teen were considered expendable to her cause, her Disorder Drive wouldn't be able to work too well in this place.
    Another thing that bothered her was the Tower itself. Walls were too smooth, density was too strong, merged technology with magic, and literally blanketed itself to where only Alpha herself could track the Tower's exact location. This entire tower, was Disorder Drive technology, her technology. Omega wouldn't be able to do something like this, as his Drive is made to destroy things instead of creating them. So shouldn't she be able to control it, or rather, destroy it, to make her job easier? She tried, and failed. So if you can't go over problems, gotta go through them, one bloody door at a time. The moment that she saw Omega, and killed him, she would figure out who would use this tech. And make sure that they'd never see the light of day again.
    She sighed quietly, mulling it over. Well, until then, it doesn't hurt to play around with these numbskulls, rather than sitting around all day ripping head after head in black op missions.

    With the suit of armor being defeated, the blade that was in Zephyr's hand soon vanished along side Byakko. Their purpose for this battle had been served and thus they left. Operator had asked who wanted the weapon left behind by the suit of armor. Tessa and Alexis had already decline to take and he himself had enough means to fight, so there was no reason for him to take another one. "I'm good." He stated as he walked through the door.

    Ze Operator shrugged at the three whom declined the blade, and looked at it himself. The blade was okay, but by human standards, it would be to heavy for him. Sure, it would be a nice trinket, not to mention the abilities it has, but he prefered his Binary Blade better. He looked to Glen, who stood idly, and shrugged.
    "Ok, Glen. To the victor, the spoils. I would take it, but eh, I like my current blade better. Besides, you need something to defend yourself, as you can never know if those psyhcic abilities are gonna fail you one day." He said, walking over, and handing the blade to Glen. He then turned and headed straight to the door to the next floor. He suddenly dropped to a knee, feeling slightly weak. He had taken a nasty hit from that large ball of light, and his core was functioning at 23%. That enemy was a worthy opponent, no less. Maybe he should have kept the strange keysword. He looked to Poke, whom had collapsed at the very end of the battle. Someone would need to carry him. Operator shuffled over to the newer comrade and lugged one of the younger male's arms over his shoulder. He began to hobble toward the door leading back to the Stasis Room. While carrying Poke, he thought about how the Tower just 'let' Poke in in the first place. From what Operator could tell, it shouldn't do that...Should it?
    Even after Operator was knocked senseless and revived, his memory was still foggy, which was rather odd, as he was able to remember things easliy. He knows that he made this Tower, so it should be something he could control. It didn't bother him until now that it should not allow more than orginally assigned.
    If so, who's controlling it currently? Who's really in charge of the simulations?
    Once again, Omega threw those thoughts away, and focused more on getting to safety.
    So far, the power that the Disorder Drive contains is enormous. Without it's safeguards, the device has the power to rip reality from it's seams. It's much stronger than Astrid had first anticipated.
    However, there is a large downside, one that is even fatal to the user. Currently, our tester, Omega, is using the current Disorder Drive prototype, which grants him the ability to control time at will. Reversion of movements, flash forward of movements, stopping, restarting, etc. Though that could be considered the extent of Omega's power, but as built by our engineers, Omega is only using a fraction of the full extent of the Core's power. So what exactly is the downside?
    Whenever Omega tries to use any of the powers granted by the Disorder Drive that are "out of bounds" of the assigned/programed ability, it puts too much stress on the core, causing it to underclock. In every scenario, Omega's core overloads to the point where it harms the user, immediately either shutting down it's entire system to prevent a total destruction of the Core, or worse, the Core detects the underclocking as harm or hazard to the user, and automatically activate Berserk Mode, safely overriding and locking the safeguard, all while overclocking the drive to stablize Core temperature but putting the Drive in control of the user's body, initiated to kill. As such, this is why the Power Safeguards are placed in the programing of every core created.

    The engineer's have recieved word from the board to create 3 more Disorder drives based on my report. Each Core will compliment the other, together the power to manipulate reality. The Core serials are numbered as follows.

    PX7147 -- Installed to Omega Prototype, first Core created. Was built to test the drive on bipedal bots, seeing if they would be able to withstand the sheer amount of programing. So far, the current user is able to withstand the Core's mass power intake and output. Can control time.

    X6126 -- To be installed in Alpha. Creates or maximizes objects from other objects, and can morph them. Further analysis unknown.

    X7217 -- Unknown

    X8328 -- Unknown

    Remy stopped, staring at his perforated card, its sides curling up against the wall. His heart practically, but not really, broke as he pulled the star from the wall, and caught the ruined spade before it drifted to the ground. "You....asshole." He breathed out, clenching his hand around the broken form before turning to face the kid. "What. The. Fuck." There was only one of those cards, one of each card, in his deck, and they were each as irreplaceable as kittens. Baby kittens. With blue eyes.

    "I'm sorry, did I not say it loud enough?" Remy approached the kid and slammed his hand with the card against the wall, bearing down on the smaller boy. "What. The. FUCK?!"

    He was half tempted to rip the book out of the kid's hands, but the little amount of self control he had held him back. How would you like it, you little shit?

    Samuel let out a long sigh before responding, he really did hate talking to idiots. "You said it loud enough the first time, but I get the sense that you are saying it again just to try and intimidate me. Well I may be young and small for my age it will not work. There is nothing about you to fear, so you are loud? What is your point, I have dealt with far worse than you." The blue eyed boy said as he finished scanning the last page on his science text book and then closed it.

    Placing the book on the floor Samuel slipped out from under where the man was standing over him, obviously trying to intimidate him with his size as well, it was rather entertaining in fact.
    "If this is about the playing card, it really isn't hard to make a new one for you. All you need is some Polyvinyl Chloride which has been pressed into a thin sheet, you layer that with some thin tree pulp processed and pressed down, you layer the two items before taking some ink and printing the shapes you need for that card. From there all you do is add another layer of polyvinyl chloride and trim the edges to make the shape correct. I could do it for you right now if it wasn't for the fact that I don't have the ingredients or proper tools. You shouldn't get so worked up over it." Samuel explained in a very matter of fact tone.

    "However things like my throwing star that you so rudely haven't given back, are a little more difficult to make. The folded steel takes a lot a fine craftsmanship to make. Unlike playing cards not any everyday person can make it. It takes a lot of skill and practice. And the steel itself in it's raw form is a rare one mined from deep inside certain mines in one area, but I won't go too much into detail about that. I don't wish to overload your brain so soon. Now if you wouldn't mind returning it, it would be very helpful. I would hate to have to go get a new one to replace it." Samuel said. He did have plenty other throwing stars in his pouch but now he didn't have an even number and that bothered him.

    Oooh so this kid was one of those. The smart ones that thought they could talk down to everyone. Remy shook his head, hand clenching around the ruined playcard. "That's all well and good, genius." He said scathingly. "But you forgot the value of sentimentality. Some things CAN'T be replaced because they have memories attached to them. Someone SPECIAL gave me this card. But you wouldn't know about that would you? Smart kid like you, bet you don't have any family left. Bet all you got is your smarts and your little stars. Well guess what? You can go play with your little stars over there then!" He turned and tossed the weapon, as hard as he could, towards the wall. It was better then punching the brat, anyway.

    Except that, the wall was a door.

    Tessa shoved at the door, creeped out by the weapon the Operator had offered them. Who the hell would take something an enemy used? Might as well take poison. Her thoughts were abruptly stopped as she heard shouting. "What the f-" The door opened, and she moved instinctively to the side, all train of thought cut off as her body recognized what her mind had not yet analyzed. She stumbled into whoever was behind her, grabbing at the side of the door for support as the air piercing object, now recognized as a throwing star, smacked into the wood where she had been standing.

    "Sorry." She apologized briefly to whomever was behind her before yanking the weapon out of the wood-like substance, leaving a decent chip, and stalking into the room, gloved hand tightening around the star. "Who the hell throws weapons at a door?" She cried, her eyes zeroing in on the shocked face of the man in front of her. "Is this yours?!" She nearly shrieked, more unnerved then angry. She had nearly lost an eye at best, her life at worst, and she hadn't even been fighting!

    "What is wrong with you?!"

    "I know the value of sentiment but sometimes you have to move on. You can't hold onto things forever." Samuel responded. In truth those throwing stars had a lot of sentiment to him, given that they were he fathers and one of few things that he had left of home, but Samuel was not about to let him know that he didn't want to give the man more to pick on him about. Samuel didn't let it show how much the comment about the family hurt him, because it was true, besides his brother he had no family left. His entire village had been destroyed years ago. Samuel instead of agreeing about no family, thought it high time to point out his family. "You are wrong however, I do have a family, my bother is right over there, and trust me, you do not want to mess with him." Samuel pointed at Oscar just as Remy threw his star and it almost hit a girl.

    Samuel backed off with a slight smirk as the girl who nearly got hit with the star stalked over to Remy, more than a little angry. He would have to ask for the star back in a moment, but for now he would let her yell at the brute. Samuel turned to see the damage done tot he door, but instead of seeing that, the door was open and a girl stood there instead, barely clothed. Samuel's face turned bright red as he turned away from her. He had never seen that much of a woman before and didn't know what to do with it. All his brains and all it took was a near naked girl to bring him down? Well that seemed a little sad.

    Alexis remained behind the closed door for a moment longer as she listened to Tessa yell as she walked in. Alexis did not want to get hit by something as soon as she walked in the room, so instead she waited just long enough to deem it safe. Stepping into the room Alexis looked around at all the new comers in there. It was unfair that they had to start from the bottom and now people were just appearing. She couldn't help but chuckle however when she saw a boy glance at her then turn away all red and nervous. She was tempted to go talk to him just because it would be funny, but instead chose to find a spot against the wall to watch Tessa yell at the man who she assumed was the one throwing things. This would be entertaining for sure.

    Zephyr's ascent up the stairs was momentarily stopped by the sound of Tessa yelling at someone. Had someone else magically appeared in the tower? Heading further up the stairs, Zephyr found that his assumption turned out to be true, one of which was being yelled at by Tessa. It was pretty clear that things were going to get noisy again, so Zephyr just sighed before finding himself a place to sit while he waited for all this to play out.
