-Ze Operator's Tower of Power-

As the Sword Arm came at Shane, the boy barely had any time to get out of the way. The arm hit him right along his torso and landed a devastating blow. Had it been any further over, Shane had every reason to believe it would have killed him. He tried to get up, but struggled. It felt as though something were broken, so Shane wouldn't be able to move too efficiently. Thankfully, he didn't need to move too much. Reaching out towards the Kolossus, Shane began poking at the creature's mind more aggressively, sending shocks at his enemy and trying to shut down its brain. Permanently.

Shane used Psionic Inundation! ​

 

Tessa had no time to call out a warning to Shane before the Kolossus' arm crashed down on his body. She crouched next to him and pressed her hands into the ground, summoning a golem once more to protect him. Regardless of their issues with each other, she refused to let a team mate die.

Shane had taken quite the hit and had gone done. It didn't mean he was out for he still fought against the Kolossus in his own way. So Zephyr attacked again with his Blue Flame Armament - Clarent.

The Kolossus lets out an echoing groan as it falls backward, shattering the ice. It's lava veins begin to fade to black as it's movements become still.

As the Kolossus went down, Operator braced for the force impact as the bumbling beast fell with a crash, VR ice flying around. The ice environment flicked, like a bad television screen, then another blinding flash. The group now stood in what seemed to be a stone grey room, big enough to fit the Kolossus. The Kolossus began to fade, and in it's place was a chest. Operator sauntered over, checking it out. There was a lock on it, and right next to the chest was a small key, big enough to fit in the lock. He picked it up, and willed it to vanish into his inventory. They would look at it later. His head motioned to the sound of two creaking doors, leading inward to a stone staircase, toward the 2nd Room Stasis Floor. He looked back to his group, and jerked his head to the stairs.
"Lets go," He called to them, his eyes motioning to Shane, who was looking worse for wear, "We need to recuperate. To the Stasis Room."​

 

Tessa slumped to the ground with relief as the Kolossus vanished. It was over. The first battle had been one. She fumbled in her pocket, prying the small red potion out of her pocket before setting it on the ground and letting it roll towards Shane. "Here. Don't need it." The golem she had created slowly dissembled, sinking back into the ground. As she stood, wavering slightly, she glanced at Ze Operator, who took the chest they had won. Curious. He didn't open it or share with any of them. He told them to follow him and walked on. The Stasis Room? She clenched her trembling hand before forcing herself forwards. Hopefully Shane would accept the potion, giving himself the ability to walk into the room without harm.

She stopped by Zephyr, wiping her forehead with the back of her sleeve. "I saw it take a swing at you towards the end. Are you okay?" She asked, trying to keep her voice from trembling. That fight had taken more out of her then it should have. Perhaps her own injury was more serious then she had originally thought. The thought of climbing those stairs made her stomach clench, but she couldn't very well rest here.

 

Ze Operator

Operator quietly walked up the stairs when only Alexis came forward, walking up the stone steps. He and Alexis made it to the top of the steps, she opened the doors leading to the room. Before them was yet another room-like arena, similar to the stone grey 1st floor, but with minor differences. There were a couple of cracks in the floor that seemed to glow a cool, bluish light. Operator stepped in, and immediately felt his joints feel significantly better, as if the room healed the inhabitants. He sighed pleasantly and stretched. His thoughts then turned to the Kolossus. The monster may have fallen, but it seemed easy. Too easy. It didn't make any fatal strikes other than a close call with Shane, and even then, after Alexis had seductively commanded the beast, it literally klonked itself over the face with it's own sword. He shook his head. Maybe it was just a mindless beast.
His thoughts suddenly turned to Alexis, whom had just sit down in a corner of the room. Operator had know doubt that he unerved a couple of his colleagues, revealing that he knew about them. But he was used to it. His machine was the reason for it. Even so, he would need to explain still because he didn't want to be untrustworthy. Nobody needed to know everyone's secrets.
Not facing Alexis, he said to her, "I believe you may have something that concerns you?" He materialized the chest that he'd taken earlier and the key that came with it, unlocking the chest with a dull click.

Shane accepted the potion from Tessa, giving a curt 'thank you' before making sure the others were alright. He didn't know any of them remarkably well, but he still needed to know that they were okay. Looking around, it seemed like he was the only one who was even remotely injured. Physically, anyway. Emotionally, a couple of them seemed to be shaken up a little. The one who seemed the worst though was the one that had hit on him, Alexis. He remembered before the tower where she'd been so sure that there were no records, had the idea of Ze Operator knowing about her past sunk into her mind and messed it up a little?

Walking into the Stasis Room, he found her sitting in a corner with Ze Operator (who has an obnoxiously large banner) nearby, so the boy walked over. He didn't sit down, but did crouch down nearby her. "You know, having our 'fun' later isn't going to be very enjoyable if you're moping around like that" he said simply.​

After entering the Stasis room, Zephyr had found himself a place to stand away from the others. He'd had intended to so some thinking over the fight that they just had with the Kolossus, but he was approached by one of the others who was here at the Tower. "Yeah, fortunately one of my 'friends' took the hit for me." Zephyr replied. Other than how he didn't like that Kamaitachi had taken the blow for him, he wasn't sure how to explain the fact that he could channel spirits to her or well anyone for that matter. So he refereed to them as his 'friends'. Zephyr did consider his spirits his friends after all so it wasn't like he was lying at all.

 

Ze Operator
​

Alexis' response was understandable, but a lie. It confirmed Operator's thoughts that everyone was a little afraid of the black dressed lunatic in a white mask. He turned his thoughts back to the chest. As he opened the lid, he saw an item that was made for everyone.
"Looks like everyone did well last battle." He stated aloud, over certain conversations. "The boss dropped this chest, and it has something for everyone."
"Shane." He tossed a red, circular cylinder to the boy. It had red lines pulsing on both ends, and hummed an eerie hum. Operator went on, "Jammer Grenade. Creates a telepathic field that'll disorient the boss for some time if used. Alexis!" He tossed to her a black long whip with two ends, wrapped in a tight bundle.
"Double Bullwhip. Moderate damage rate, very quick. Useful to someone of your stature. Tessa!"
To her, Operator tossed what seemed to be a collapsible spear, fused with bits of rock and earth. "Earthen Lance. Every single inch is fused with rock. Can be used along with your Geokinesis. Zephry!"
To him he tossed a greyish katana. It looked similar to Zephry's original, but had a matte color to the blade.
"Ignis Katana. Deals more damage if the enemy if it's burning and more damage than a standard one." Operator looked back into the chest and saw something else. It was a circular orb, and it pulsed a certain coldness to it. Operator knew this gift wasn't for him, because for all intents and purposes, he couldn't really identify it. He sighed in thought, and willed the glacial orb to disappear in his inventory. The chest then vanished with a whoosh along with it's key. He walked over to the wall and punched it hard with his right arm, a panel indenting from the main wall. Operator stepped back as the wall slid away to reveal a machine, with the name "Shop" over the top. He tapped a couple of keys into the interface, and deposited a couple of credits into the machine. The machine sputtered a bit, and a drawer popped out, holding a couple of items; a par of tin-colored boots, a gold pocket watch, a small cannon that looked like it fired baseballs, and a small flask with red liquid. He picked them all up, and stored both the watch and mini cannon away. he drank from the flask, which gave him a burning sensation in his throat, and the flask shattered. Finally, he put on the boots. He felt slower in them, but felt much more protected. He then walked towards the door to the 2nd Floor Boss Room, glaring at the doors. They would open when the boss was ready.

Waves of blue energy started to form outside the tower, on the grassy plains. It centered into an empty point in the air, more waves joining as a disc formed in the middle. It crackled with lightning, before shattering with a loud BANG!

Poke opened his eyes, finding nothing but a misty fog. "What?!--" In a panic, he looked around him, finding nothing but the grass, the fog, and some sort of structure behind him. It was tall, and it looked...dangerous. But there was something else about it, something that called out to him. "...What is this place?" His thoughts wandered back to home. What about the black hole? Did he stop it? Was his world saved, or had he failed his objective in life? All he could remember was circling around the black hole, and then darkness swallowed him up. Perhaps he'd been transported somewhere...And he got the feeling that the tower had something to do with it. He placed a hand against the door, and it opened on it's own. A bright light swallowed him up...

...and he found himself in a room with strangers surrounding him.

 

"One of your friends? Who-" Tessa's reply was cut off by a sixth figure appearing in the room. She didn't scream, but she did jump back several feet and automatically draw her weapon, her eyes wide with shock as she beheld a human. Was this a boss? A trick? She trembled, badly needing a rest but her body screaming that there was danger.
It didn't even occur to her that she hadn't introduced herself to the stranger. Right now she stood beside him, her mind instinctively taking him for a comrade, there to help her fight.

 

Ze Operator

The sudden appearance of Poke caused Operator to pull a pistol out, pointing it straight at Poke, point-blank to the head, finger to the trigger, his breathing heightened. The Tower was not supposed to open up to anyone else after there is a group now occupying it, and yet, here was a new person, in which the Tower somehow managed to teleport the individual up. Question was, what importance did this individual has? Operator's thoughts turned to the cold, clear orb now in his possession. Operator knew for a fact that it wasn't a gift to him, but to someone else perhaps? Carefully, with his gun still pointed to the stranger, he willed the orb to reappear in his other hand, it's cold aura chilling his hand. It was a risk, by giving this entity the orb, he could be dooming everyone to another skirmish, especially since no data was showing up about this entity in his vision center, meaning he had no tabs on this person. Operator then cocked his head, holding the orb out to Poke, carefully asking, "Is this your possession?"
Depending on the stranger's answer depended on whether Operator placed a bullet in the stranger's skull.

 

At the sound of a weapon being drawn, Poke's eyes widened and shined red. Pointing his arm towards Tessa, a red outline began to appear before he felt someone else press a gun to his head. He turned his head slowly, his inhuman eyes locked onto the masked individual as his arm lowered to his side, a snarl rumbling out from in his throat. Right now, he couldn't do anything without ending up with a bullet in his head, so it was best to just let things play out. Hopefully, this person wasn't trigger-happy. At the sight of the orb--his orb--within his hand, though, his brows furrowed in confusion.
"What the--"
Stepping away from the stranger(Having forgotten he could shoot him at any time,) he turned away and waved his hand in the air. Four orbs appeared, each colored differently and sparkling with some semblance of an element. White, red, brown, and yellow. He looked around, as if there were more, but there wasn't. Just those four. "How...?!" Poke looked back at Operator, his focus completely on the Ice Orb as his hand automatically drifted towards it. No anger was on his face--Just genuine curiosity and confusion. "Where--How--did you get that?"

 

Ze Operator

The moment that the human twitched a muscle was nearly the moment that Operator's right index finger twitched, but as four orbs of different colors appeared in the air, Operator stopped. So that clear, bluish-white orb was his. Though he wasn't entirely convinced, Operator changed his tactics. He relaxed slightly, throwing the orb into the air, him catching it without breaking his gaze to the newcomer, saying, "I'm wondering the exact same thing. Since you just confirmed that this...thing is actually yours, I may just give it to you."
But then he quickly added, left hand gently tightening around the orb, "But there's a catch. Judging by how you got through those doors, and how I have absolutely no data on you, I want you to tell me your name and how you got here." He tilted his head to the other side, "Unless of course, you want to get dropped."
Though Operator knew that threatening this person wasn't going to get anywhere, not knowing who this person was (or what this person was, for that matter), mixed with how this orb was linked to his other, multi-colored orbs was somehow mildly unsettling to him, thus not knowing what exactly this stranger was capable of doing, and the stranger's near-advance on Tessa was further emphasis. Though Operator had been trained to kill stronger, tougher enemies then himself, one thing that he learned from day one was to never underestimate an individual, regardless of who or what they are.

 

The moment he mentioned there being a condition for him to get the orb, his fingers twitched. He felt...weak, threatened, without his full power, and being denied what was his made him want to just get this over with and fight for the damn thing. Fortunately, ten years of living among humans also bought him the knowledge that let him know how absolutely stupid such an action would be, so he bit his tongue and did his best to calm down.

One part of what the stranger said stood out to him. 'I have absolutely no data on you,' What did that mean? Did this person have information on everyone else in the room? And what did he mean, how he got through the doors? The tower practically let him in! Then again, he might have been looking at things with a view too restricted. Shelving those thoughts away, he returned to the subject at hand. Nodding, he took a deep breath.

"I am Poke, son of Arceus. And this place looks nothing at all like my home..." He gestured around him, but he was referring to more than just the room; He meant the area outside, too. "...so I suppose I must not be on my world anymore. I'm not completely sure how I got here. The last thing I remember..." His gaze drifted to the floor, the extreme battle he'd just fought in still sending chills down his spine. "...I was fighting for my planet, but I was losing. So I took a risk. In short, I created a black hole that swallowed up the enemy, but if nothing stopped it, it'd destroy my planet. So I flew in, and found myself outside this tower, in front of the doors. The tower practically welcomed me in; The doors opened on their own, and I found myself in this room." He gestured to the area around him.

"Now will you give me my orb, please?"

"It's kinda complicated." Before Zephyr could go into any further detail, a sixth person had arrived and both Tessa and Ze Operator when on guard, the latter more so since he went ahead and placed his gun to the new comers head. Zephyr on the other hand didn't really move from his spot. Instead he kept and eye on the situation as it took place. The newcomer said that his name was Poke who had basically been fighting for the sake of his planet before ending up here. Well that was certainly one way of showing up here. Zephyr had figured that most people had just found this place while wandering, least that's what he did anyway.

 

Ze Operator

Operator interrupted Poke mid-speech when he politely asked for the Orb, replying almost immediately, "Of course you can!"
He tossed the Orb to Poke, which it began to power up, and Operator willed his Pistol to vanish in a flurry of black, turning back to the other set of double doors leading to the 2nd Floor boss room, suddenly adopting a childish and brash voice noticeable within his distorted way of speaking, "I don't understand as to why you guys keep looking at me like I'm gonna murder all of you. As long as you answer what I ask, I won't harm."
All of Operator's current gist was a front, however. He was greatly perturbed by Poke's explanation as to how the tower just 'welcomed' him in, not to mention how he was just drawn to to from another dimension. It seemed too coincidental. He decided to think on it later, since Shane could be poking around his thoughts. He explained to Poke, not facing him, "You are in the Tower of Power, a randomly generated structure built based on the desires of this group, made as teamwork excercise, but acts as the pinnacle of crucibles. On each of the Tower's 30 floors, we face an enemy of great power. The only way to leave this place is to go through each floor in one piece. By entering this place, you're willfully signing your own death warrant, as the Tower renders most godly powers useless. This includes mass control over elemental types, or invincibility or being able to come back from the dead." He slightly turned his head before continuing, "As I understand it, by either entering this Tower you either truly want to save your dimension, or you really want to end your own existence a little too quickly."
