Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds: Mark of the Knights

Angel, Akiza, and Luna looked at the sky, staring at the geoglyph.

 

"Congratulations on beating the Dark Signers but you failed to close the door to the Netherworld." Goodwin was heard from the top of a stairway as jack regcongize dthe building, it was Stiarwya tot he Dragon Star.

"Goodwin! Have we lost is the world?" Yusei was about ti finish Goodwin spoke. "Done for..." he stated as he looked at the King was was approaching. "Then why is the King of the Netherworld coming here!?" Shinji asked as Goodwin stared athe group. "Why, this stairway hosts a Divine Ritual and I summoned the Crimsion Dragon to bring you here for that cause."

Goodwin place the capsule on a podium as a Mark was shown and Yusei and jack felt a pain in their arm as their marks glowed. "Goodwin! Is that arm yours!?" Jack aske,d remembering the Fortune cup as Goodwin's hand was made of metal.

"No, it belonged to my brother, Roman." goodwin stated as Yusei's eyes widened. "Roman!? Why do you have it!?" He asked as Goodwin laughed and turned around as his back shone, showing the Condor.

"You're...a Dark Signer!?" SHinji said in surprise.

 

"What happened to him?" Angel wondered to herself, Luna shook at him.

 

Goodwins's upper clothes tore as hismuscles expanded. His scleras turn pitch black and purple lines form over his now muscular body as he then opened the canister and withouthesitation, ripp the metal arm right out and reached wthin the canister, pulling out an arm.

"With the power of the Dark Signer, I shall make my brother's arm my own!" Rex stated as the arm was grafted on and the mark was refusing to become a part of him.

"No matter, it'll take time to overcome it.."

"What are you trying to achieve Goodwin!?" Yusei asked as Rex smiled. "To become the Ultimate God by using the power of the Crimsion Dragon and the Immortals themselves!" He declared and raised his arm as teh stairway went up but luckily everyone retreated as an altar appeared in front fo Goodwin as he inserted a deck. "A Turbo Duel shall suffice for the Ritual within the geoglyph itself! I'll offer the Signers and Knights to the King of the Netherworld!"

"Hodl it Goodwin! You wanted Yusei and the others to stop this from happening!" Crow said and Yusei spoke. "What happens if we win the duel?" He asked out loud as Rex spoke. "Why, the King of the Netherworld will vanish but it won't happen."

"Then I'll duel you!" Yusei declared as Jack spoke. "Me too, I'll put an end to this plan of yours!" Jackstated as Crow grinned. "Not without me, I may not be a Signer but I'll do this for the kids in Satellite!" he said as teh RUnner's engines revved up.

"Okay Yusei, Jack, Crow, we're counting on you!" SHinji said.

 

Luna put her hands together and closed, hoping that Yusei, Jack, and Crow would be able to win against Goodwin. Akiza watched, praying silently in her heart.

 

The COndor Geoglyph rotated so it tilted. "I'll start with 12000 life points while you three have 4000 and nobody can attack the first turn, argeed?" Rex spoke by a huge projection of himself as Yusei, Jack and Crow nodded as Speed World activated and the Three Runners ramped up on the geoglyph, the duel had started.

 

Akiza and Luna looked at their marks, Angel placed a hand on their shoulders and smiled. "We all believe that they can win."

 

"I'll go first Goodwin! I draw and Summon Blackwing- Mistral the Sliver Shield in attack mode and special summon Blackwing - Bora teh Spear from my hand if there's another Blackwing on my field!"



"I set one card facedown and end my turn!" Crow declared as Jack moved up front as the SPC raised to 1 "My turn now! I summon Mad Archfiend with a facedown!"


Yusei moved up front. "My move now! I draw! Goodwin, what made you becoem a Dark Signer!?" Yusei asked.

 

Akiza Angel, and Luna listened with the others at the end.

 

Rex started to explain. "My brotehr was the first place of battle, he held the Mark of the Spider and the mark of the Crimsion Dragon, he chosen to take the path of a Dark SIgner as his body could not wage a war between them, so he removed his arm adn entrusted me...however, I duelled him on Satellie and lost on purpose...to become a Dark Siger with not an immortal but a part of the Crimsion Dragon, our fates wouldn't change 5000 years more, the battle will take place again and again, so I'll change it! I'll destory this world and rebuild it with the Crimsion Dragon's power!"

SHinji could not believe this. "So you're willing to sacrifice countless lives to go through with it?!" He shouted as Rex's head started at him. "You would not understand." Goodwin said as Crow spoke. "Your desire are hurt many others, including Martha and those in Satellite!"

"God's power doesn't tear down destiny! We change it by our bonds with each other! I summon out Max Warrior and one facedown!" Yusei declared.

 

"Yusei, Jack, Crow, beat Goodwin for everyone who vanished to the Netherworld, including Misty!" Angel shouted, Akiza looked at her and smiled.

 

Rex drawn hsi card as the SPC went from 2 to 3. "Since I control no monsters on the field, I can special summon Oracle of the Sun in attack mode and normal summon Fire Ant Asacator, now I'll tune Level 5 Oracle with level 3 Fire Ant... When the sun arises, all darkness is dispelled. Light, shine brightly. Synchro Summon! Show yourself, Sun Dragon Inti!"




"Next I remove my Fire Ant from the game to Special Summon Weeping Idol and pay 1000 Life poinst to Special summon Dark Tuner - Dark Goddess Witaka who can copy one SYnchro Monster's level and I choose my Inti, Now I Dark Tune My level 8 Goddess with level 2 Idol! When the path of darkness is opened, the voices of despair can be heard. Become death. Dark Synchro! Show yourself, Moon Dragon Quilla!"




"I set two facedowns and end my turn, now QUilla's effect activates, destorying itself at the end phase!"

Shinji's eyes widened. "No way...a Synchro and Dark Synchro summon!?" he asked surprised.

 

"What in the name of earth is he planning?" Angel wondered, Akiza shook and held onto Angel.

 

Crow took front again. "I don't know about God or fate but I'll surpass all of that! Just like the legendary man from the the legend!" Crow declared as Rex closed his eyes. "The very same man who's left arm was lost." Rex said as Crow drawn his card, SPC up at 4

"I activate Speed Spell - Tune Up 123!"


"Here's how this works, I roll a dice and increse Mistrals level by the number I roll! 1 or 2 makes his level go up once, 3 or 4 makes it twice and and 5 or 6 goes up by three and it lands on 2 so Mistal gains more mroe level, now I'll tune Level 3 Mistral with level 4 Bora the Spear for Blackwing Armor Master then I'll normal summon Elphin the Raven!



"Armor Master attacks Inti! I take no battle damage with Armor Master and leave 1 Wedge Counter so i remove it to make Inti's ATK zero! Raven Attack!"

"It's gonna take alot to beat him." Angel whispered softly, watching the duel.

 

Rex laughed. "You dare attack a god, you shall take punishment! Inti's special effect! When destoryed by battle, I destory the attacking monster and deal damage to your life points equal to that monster's!" Rex said as Crow was surprised. "What!?" he said as he skidded a bit but regained balance, losing 2200, leaving him with 1800 and his SC to 2 as Quilla came to the field.

"The legendary man failed because he was a normal person goign against destiny! in order to change fate and destiny, one must surpass humanity! Become a god!" Rex declared. "I won't believe that for a minute!" Crow stated.

Rex held up his arm as his Dragon mark vanished and Yusei's and Jack's did too. "What?!" Yusei asked in surprise as the mark of the Crimsion Dragon appeared on Rex's chest. "I am the Ultimate GOD!" Rex declared.

 

"The guy has gone crazy!" Angel shouted, Akiza held onto Angel's hand and shook.

 

"I set two facedown cards and end my turn!" Crow announced as the King of the Netherworld was slowly approaching as Jack took over up front. "I don't know about bonds and God and my wish to surpass those things but I do know I'll surpass you Goodwin! I draw!"

"I set another facedown card and summon out my Magic Hole Golem in defense mode! Thanks to his effect, I can halve my Mad Archfiend's attack power to attack you directly! Bone Splash!"


Jack called out Goodwin's lifepoints droppd to 7900. "Heh, don't joke around Jack, you can't escape our bonds that easily! Trap card open! Shadow Dance!" Crow declared.


"This card inflicts 1000 damage to the player whose been attack directly this turn!" Crow stated as Rex's LP dropped down to 6900. "The marks we hold are a symbol of our bonds with each other and everyone else! Trap card activate! Rising Rush! When you take damage from a card effect, I special summon one Tuner Monster from my hand! Come! Junk Synchron!" Yusei stated



"Yusei, take over and defeat him!" Jack said as Yusei moved up front.

Shinji was amazed. "Incredible, they used each other's cards to get more of a advantage,"

 

"That's what I call teamwork." Angel said, smiling. Akiza nodded and smiled.

 

"My turn!" Yusie declared as his and jack's SPC went to 6, Crow's to 4 and Goodwin's to 3. "I Tune Level 3 Junk Warrior with Level 4 Max Warrior! Clustering quivers shall release an arrow! Beceome the path the light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Pierce! Junk Archer! I active his effect, once per turn, I can remove one monster until the End Phase and I choose Moon Dragon Quilla! Now Direct Attack!" Yusei cried out


"How foolish, trap card activate! Offerings to the Immortals! I negate your attack, get two Ceremional Tokens and add one Earthbound Immortal to my hand!" Rex declared


"That's playing dirty Goodwin!" Crow stated as Yusei knew what was coming. "I set two facedown cards o tned my turn and Junk Archer's effect activates, returning Moon Dragon Quilla."

"I draw!" Rex annoucned as everyone's SPC went up by one. "I'll tribute my two tokens to summon out my Earthbound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca!"


The Immortal's heart soon appeared began to take the souls of nearby inhabitants and soon, the condor was formed, hovering over the geoglyph as Yusei, jakc and Crow looke dup with worry but a noise was heard as they looked where it came from, the King of the Netherworld spotted this and sent smeller condors towards the DUelling Circuit but a condor was sneaking up behind Yusei.
