I'd like to revoke the last two themes: the first I would have liked for a theme, but in truth was forced; the second was mellow enough, but too shallow, a tunnel vision. Here is something of substance. It's a definite end.

Ah, this is for you.

I like it because it's inconsistent, and emotional. Nothing too heavy, but then it builds up to something frantic and desperate. The somber tone stays throughout the entire piece. Um. A bit of hopefulness is thrown in there, but it still ends on a sad note.

p.s; I'm happy to hear it.

 

I've been looking for a song for a good 20 minutes now, but I think I don't really have an overarching theme for my life in general. There's a certain static quality, sure, but at the same time, my thoughts about it are really malleable.

Whenever I play this song, it just makes me forget there's a bad side to life, I guess? Things are a party and you have to be ready to get DOWN and JAM man, gotta KEEP UP THE PARTY TRAIN WOOP WOOP. And you can't really be sad all the time. At some point you need to let loose and chill, and Tune-Yards brings that side out for me.

Yeah, this is usually played during angstangstangst for me. Typically, I don't do it much, it just happens when a lot is happening, or something big is going on (i.e. Grandpa dying and such). Bluh, it's made me cry before, but most of the time I just sit with it on and lie in bed, waiting to sleep or whatever.

I think this song is moreso me when I'm trying to better myself? I tend to get jealous of people because of artistic talent, them getting all attention ever, etc ad infinitum.

But, this song, like the entire overarching show it came from, is about screwing all obstacles in the way and PIERCING THE HEAVENS. Can't stop won't stop never stop bby.
