    Yea, but... well my standpoint on this is kind of strange. I think of it this way. The fact that people aren't obliged to put their hands over their hearts should just be even more incentive for them to be at least somewhat grateful for the cause that thousands have died for. The thing that ticks me off the most is that, as I said, most of the people who don't do it don't even have an intelligent or logical reason for disliking the country so much as to not give a simple gesture.

    You don't have to hate America to not do the Pledge. Surely, you are all so unsure of your patriotism that you have to say a string of words in front of a flag with your hand over your heart?

    I'm proud to be British (well, Northern Irish first), but I don't feel the need to proclaim it to everyone everyday.
