You cant hide forever

"Hermia....wha-?"Elena said rubbing her eye tiredly"why's Ocean over your shoulder...? whats going on?"

 

"No time to explain." She said quickly. "Can you wake your parents up? It's really, really important. They've found River."

 

her mouth popped open,then she closed it,nodding,then she took off down the hall,throwing open her parents door,she practically threw herself on their bed,bouncing to wake them up as she did when she was a child,"Mum! Dad!wake up! wake up! they've found River! they found him!"she all but screamed

"Elena....shhh....its just a bad dream....go back to bed..."Mickey muttered sleepily

 

Lake unwillingly sat up and sighed. "Your father's right sweetie. "She said blerily still only half awake. "Just go back to bed."

"She's not lying, or dreaming, or whatever." Hermia said walking in behind the younger girl. Ocean still flopped over her shoulder. "That girl from the wedding, remember? It's her brother. It's real, and it's serious. And if you don't leave now there's no telling what may happen."

 

"where's River?"Mickey asked suddenly sitting up straight.


"what are we gonna do? where are we gonna go?"Elena saidjumping when there was a huge crashing sound from outside

 

Hermia dropped Ocean onto the bed. "She's not hurt, just asleep." She added quickly, noting Lake's look on concern. "Basically, get out of here. Floo Power, apperation, portkey or whatever. Just get out of here."

 

"Elena...if you changed into a wolf....could you carry your sister to your grandparents house?"


"where are you going Dad?"


"Too help your brother...now when I say run...run ok? dont stop....just run."

 

Lake sighed and grabbed both of her daughter's hands. In less time then it takes a fork of lightening to illuminate the sky she'd disapperated. Taking the two girls with her with a crack louder then a breaking bone.

"You sure about this Mickey?" Hermia said, looking up at what was effectively her father-in-law.

 

he nodded"I should have stepped in a long time ago....the day he left to be exact....I should have made him stay...18 or not...I was still his father....24 or not...I still am."

Elena stared wide eye'd at her mother "Mum...?"she squeaked

 

Hermia smiled slightly. "Aren't you the paternal one." She said, striding towards the door. "Well I'm not leaving, so don't even try to stop me. Just saying it now to avoid any problems later." The brunette added, looking back with a smug grin on her face.

"Yes?" Lake said calmly, obviously fighting back any urges she had to return and fight along side her son and husband.

 

He smiled."I stopped trying to get the girls in this family to stay behind along time ago Hermia...it does no good...only makes them angry."he smiled following her


"They'll be ok...right? Dad,River and Hermia...."

 

"Good." She grinned, jumping down the stairs and running out into the back garden. Despite her confident exterior her heart was in her mouth, and beating at what felt like a million beats a minute.

"They'll be fine sweetie." She said soothingly, patting her head gently. Lake looked around, wondering if any of the household were still awake. She was in luck.

Jacob wandered out of the kitchen with a glass of water in one hand. He was shirtless, wearing what seemed like nothing but his pyjama bottoms. "What are you guys doing here?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

 

"They came for River...."she said her voice higher in her fight and worry "That girl at the wedding's brother..."


Mickey followed her,just in time to see them load a limp River into the back of a black van,though his eyes were open....Mickey had seen that look on his son Once....after he'd had that strange injection.A snarl ripped through him

 

"Oh." Jacob said, unable to think of any other words to say. "GRANDMA!" He bellowed up the stairs. "I think you might want to come down here!"

"RIVER!" Hermia screamed before quickly tearing off. She jumped into the air and transformed in the middle of her leap. Immediately her speed picked up as she was now running on four legs instead of two. The ground between her and the van slowly lessened.

 

"Jacob...wha-? Lake..? whats going on?"Lyra said pulling her dressing gown around her


August slowly turned to stare at her,looking bored "She wanted four werewolves....his sisters arent strong enough....but three will have to do..."he muttered rising a tube like thing,pointing it at the she-wolf.

 

"They've come for River..." Lake said quietly.

"You okay Elly...?" Jacob asked, carefully walking up to his younger cousin.

Hermia once again leapt into the air and pounced onto the young man. Her eyes burning with hatred.

 

He smiled once,taking something out of his pocket "Goodnight sweetheart...dont worry...RivieKins will be with you soon enough."He said sticking the siringe into her front leg,waiting for the drug to take effect.

"Do you want to go help out? I can take care of the girls...or I can call Maddie..."


"No...Im scared Jake...."she whispered

 

Hermia took a swing at him with the very paw she'd been stabbed in, her claws out. She slapped him across the face, digging her claws in with every ounce of strength she could muster before swaying slightly and dropping to the floor. Slowly she began to fade back into her fragile human shape.

 

He wiped the blood off his face,before getting up.."Two down....one to go.."he muttered

Mickey had moved quickly infront of the girl,protectivly,his teeth showing,he snapped them a few times,then lunged but the boy was somehow faster,injecting Mickey just as he did River and Hermia.Mickey slowly changed back too,he tried to hang on to his conciousness...but was losing

ooc-you know the here we go again rp? since we havent posted there in awhile I thought about maybe a school reunion where Zane is at?

Hermia shivered slightly and twitched. She had been left completely naked bar a couple of rags of material that hadn't quite fallen off of her during the transformation that were clinging to some very lucky areas.

Jacob sighed slightly and patted the girl's head. "I'll try to help..." He muttered, looking over at his Aunt.

"Thank you, Lyra." Lake said. "I should get back." She said, stepping back to disapperate.

At the exact moment Lake vanished Jacob caught hold of her arm. In one giant crack the two of them both vanished into thin air.
