Hey, pay your respects to the XBLA games. Dishwasher: Dead Samurai is worth a look. Gripshift will bring amusement, but the demo may be as much of it as you'll enjoy. I recommend Ikaruga if you're masochistic enough for it. If you are lacking Castlevania in your life, you owe Symphony of the Night to yourself. Also, pretty much anything ported from the N64 or Dreamcast is probably a safe bet.

As for 360-specific games, please give DMC4 a shot. Just ignore the hype and the fanbase and the Bosch and give it a try, especially if Bayonetta is on your list anyway. And don't forget Left 4 Dead 2. It's just better.

I'd be tempted to agree if you didn't sound so desperate.

 

Shadow Complex and Castlevania are great games, and I'm usually not a big arcade fan.

 

I forgot to mention DoA4.

 

Please no. Mortal Kombat's system is choppy and irritating; it's hardly any fun to fight other players, and the computer cheats regularly. I doubt the DC crossover did anything to fix that.
