Destiny there are hardly any mistakes. But there are two I caught.Your letter:

    Dear Principal,

I would like to express a bit of my concern with you. Recently, I was scanning the internet and I came across an interesting article. It stated that a boy had been shot and killed by his friends for being gay. I noticed that this boy was not that old, and that this was a ridiculous reason for somebody to be killed. However, I found something else in that article that I thought was a great idea.

The second portion of this article explained about a national event called the "Day of Silence". The day of this event will be April 25th, my sister,my friend, and I will be participating along with thousands of others across the globe. On this day, any person who is participating is suppossed to remain silent for the entire day. Many kids think that they can't go a day without talking, so they may tape their mouths shut. The reason for this is to silence the namecalling towards all gay, lesbian, and bi people who get picked on every day. I believe that it would be great if alot of kids from Kittysworth K-8 participated in this event.

Lately, I've seen many kids at Kittysworth K-8 get made fun of for being gay, lesbian, or bi. I feel that this is unfair. They should be treated just like everyone else. So, if the school participates, then we could give all of the gay, lesbian, and bi people a chance to fight back for equality and to feel like they're not any different than me or you, if only for one day.

Also, this event may help students learn a bit about discrimination and see how it is wrong. Many kids don't understand the importance of equality, so they go and pick on other kids. Any person should be aloud to be whatever they want to be, without people making fun of them.

So, I was hoping that you could help me get the students at Kittysworht K-8 to participate, or at least introduce the event to them. I feel that this would be a great learning experience for these students, and it would be great to have as many people as possible to participate. If you want to learn more about the Day of Silence, then go to http://www.dayofsilence.org/. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

    Sincerely,
    Bunnycuddles

Well those are the only mistakes I found.Maybe there might be others that I didn't find and someone else will find them.

This writing reminds me of the The Day of Silence page in my newsletter. Yay middle school. Finding some mistakes..Not bad but this should should work, after reading it was an inspiration to me. ( In my opinion)

There's alot of grammatic errors, but that is easily corrected. On a personal note, I don't like the font or the center aligement. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to stories i'm afraid. On the plus side, you really describe each character well, and you include those little details that most writers overlook, I like that.
