Worst book you've ever had to read as an assignment

Actually, I had to do the play and it is really slow!

 

Oh man, now that i think about it, i'm going to have to include a paper that I have to read for my english class: "Signature, Event, Context" by Derrida.

You want an easy fix for insomnia, Derrida is your guy....or Gulliver's Travels.

Or Reading for Dummies

 

We just started reading The Hobbit. its a great book, but im not liking the questions we have to answer.

 

The Outsiders. That book is old and GEY!

 

I feel bad for you. I hate LoTR books because I can't tell how someone could have the patience for them.

I have to read that this year, but I hear it's really good! Besides, Emilo Estevez is in the movie. <333

I really loved that book and Johnny was the best character (I believe in the movie, he was the kid who played in "The Karate Kid")

 

In social studies we were learning about Japan and so my teacher gave me a crappy manga (which i forgot the title)
and it was like the 8th volume and i did not get anything DX

 

The Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man. the most drawn out/pointless/boring story in the world

 

Macbeth.
Every character practically died.
And English history is the bloodiest in the world.
So boring for every character to die.
Shakespeare. Go read your own book sometime will ya.

Sixth Grade Sugar Babies. Don't even get me started on how much I hated it. But I read it in like 2 hours...​

 

Animal Farm... <_< sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring....

 

It's Pen Pal, a Japanese book translated into Thai. It's kind of horror story but made me very disappointed and frustated >_< My friend thought it was great. :(

he Trumpet of the Swan. I mean it's a okay book. But too, too many times. :/

 

It was okay. I liked the way Miss Havisham was described as skeleton. Lol, see my attachment, I made a list of the characters and gave each of them a sprite.(Download and change the extention to doc) You will lol at the one I gave Miss Havisham, as well as Estella. All in all, it was a good book, but alot of it was kinda boring.

Heh, that was the best book that I've had to read for school, mainly because it's the shortest. lol.

My worst book was Steve and Me. It had some funny moments(EG: The time when Steve caught an emu, and the time when he ran down the maternity ward proclaiming, "I've got a baby girl!") and the little stories about their adventures in the bush were cool, but the rest was kinda boring. It's like one of thoses video games that you really hate, but you can't stop playing it. I was just waiting for something funny to happen. I really hated it when Stev died(duh) and the fact that at some point Terri flashed back to before she met Steve, and I got really confused. So, yeah.

"Donña Barbara" it's the worst,it was so boring and horrible that I didn't even finished reading it and just looked for the review on the web.

If my memory doesn't fail me,it was about a woman named "Barbara who was a total whore or something.

 

no offense to those people who love this book.
but for some reason i didnt really like To Kill A Mockingbird.
it was just..boring to me

hahaha ive been given good books until now as we've had to choose for ourselves... we have to choose biographies and I chose Angela's Ashes... couldn't get past the 3rd page honestly... had to pretend to read until I got a new book
