How can i make the time of a clip less than 1:20 seconds?

 

Do you mean how do you shorten a clip?

 

You can zoom in real close on the timeline and just..... shorten it. I don't know what else to say. :sweatdrop:

 

click the end of the clip you want to cut it, or if you mean you want to slow it down, the feature is in the 'video effects'

 

It won't let me shorten it anymore. All i want is for the video to flash really.

 

Can't you just keep zooming in and trimming it?

Dunno. Maybe you could add stuff to make them shorter.

 

Oh...you zoom in a lot, and then make a small scene, then fade the other scene into it, but make sure both of the clips are short, then it will make the flash effect.

 

well...by shine do you mean flash or what?
And if you know a video that has the effect you want to do plaese post a link and how us were it happens.

 

Put the blue line-pointer-thing where you want it to end and press ctrl + l.

 

Heres what I like to do: press the + button to zoom in to maximum size. Now, go to the clip that you want to have the flash effect on. Cut it into the smallest section possible with the cut button it would look like say...1/12 of the size of the actual clip...right. So take that 1/12 clip and go to the "video effects" button. If you want a black flash, select "Fade in from black" and if you want a white flash select "fade in from white."

That should do the trick...hope I wasnt too confusing.
