Will of Fire

"Okay." Panzela looked at the window, gadging the time. Looking at Becky she grinned. "Do you need to change Becky? Your kind of... soaking wet."

 

"I'm just getting started," Akito said and gripped his swords tighter. I didn't want to have to use this, but he's leaving me no choice! He thought and raised his swords to the sky. Electricity sparked from his swords and a bolt of lightning came from the sky, headed towards Rei.

Becky laughed. "Yeah..." She said and stood up. "Thanks to somebody..." She said and laughed, ruffling Anthony's hair.

Anthony smiled.

 

Panzela smiled at Anthony, "I hope me alarm clock never breaks when you're around." she walked out of the room. "come on, Anthony, let's let her change."

 

Anthony grinned and nodded, walking out of the room with Panzela.

Becky laughed and closed the door as they walked out. Then, she knelt down, exhaling. I don't want them to worry... She thought, deciding not to tell them that she'd been feeling weak. She looked down at herself. I better change, though... i hope I have something that will fit my second form.. She walked over to her closet and changed into a blue tank top and a short, blue skirt. I guess this'll work... She thought.

 

Panzela leaned on the wall outside of Becky's room, thinking.

 

Rei was taken by surprise and lost time to react. He tried to dodge, but was struck on his upper left back near his shoulder. He fell to the ground, unconcious.

 

Akito smirked, but then fell to one knee, clutching his shoulder. I've got to be careful when I use that... He thought.

Akari let out a groan as she started to wake up.

"Whatcha thinkin' about?" Andrew asked, seeing Panzela concentrating hard on something.

 

Rei's feather's smoldered slightly near the area he was hit as his blood started to run from the injury.

 

Akari opened her eyes and looked around. She saw that Panzela was gone, and noticed Andrew was, too. However, she saw Rei on the ground, not too far off from where she was, Akito next to him. "You... Actually knocked him out?" She asked, surprised.

Akito looked at Rei, and he felt something knot up in his stomach. "Yeah..." He said softly.

 

Dai stood on her balcony. "Strange... Where did that bolt come from?" She asked herself.

"Kyuu?" Wizard hopped onto the railing of the balcony.

Dai rubbed Wizard's head. "I don't know, Wiz..."

 

Panzela looked at Anthony pulled from her thoughts, "Just all of this family fued." she replied, taking a deep breath.

 

Becky got a bad feeling and gasped. R-Rei! One of her antennas twitched as she ran towards the doorway. She opened the door. "Panzela! We have to go help, Rei!" She said.

Anthony looked at Becky, confused.

Akari smirked and got up, walking over to Akito. "Good job," She said and put a hand on his shoulder. "Now, let's take him back to father."

Akito looked at Akari and brushed her hand off of his shoulder. He went to go pick Rei up. This feeling I have is guilt...? Isn't it...? He thought.

 

"Kyuu!" Wizard jumped up and down.

"What is it?" Dai asked, confused at Wizard's sudden distress.

Rei remained unconcious.

 

Panzela stepped foward, "Okay, lead the way." she replied, worried from Becky's outburst. "Anthony, you stay with us until we pass your house and then please don't leave until you hear from one of us."

 

Wizard tugged at Dai's sleeve and pointed to where the bolt was earlier.

"No, Wiz. I'm not getting involved in that." Dai said, partially regretting it.

"Kyuu!" Wizard insisted.

"Wiz, I can't! If I go somewhere that will engage me in battle then..." Dai shook her head. "I just can't."

 

Akari smirked. "You take him home... I've got someone I need to take care of..." She said and grinned.

Akito nodded silently and started carrying Rei to the Hiwatari house.

Anthony nodded and followed Becky down the stairs and out of the house.

Once Becky had reached outside, she followed her senses to find Rei and Kairuto. This is not good... She thought.

 

Rei's blood dripped from his shoulder and wing onto the ground.

Wizard hopped from the railing onto the ground and bounded through Dai's room to go down the stairs.

"Wiz, get back here!" Dai shouted.

 

Akito arrived back at the Hiwatari house with Rei on his back. He opened the door and walked inside.

Becky suddenly stopped walking when she sensed something nearby. Her antenna twitched and she quickly turned to Anthony and Panzela. "Get down, now!" She said.

When Becky said that, Anthony quickly listened and got down on the ground.

An arrow suddenly flew over Panzela and Anthony's heads, and one hit Becky in the shoulder. She let out a yell.

Akari smiled, standing next to a nearby tree with a strange looking crossbows. "Like it? It can shoot three arrows at once..." She said and grinned wickedly.

 

Hiwatari came out of his office and looked at Akito with Rei. "Set him down." He ordered.

 

Akito nodded and obeyed, setting Rei on the floor.

Becky winced and took out the arrow, blood trickling down her arm. Her antenna twitched again. I don't have time for this! Kairuto and Rei are in trouble! She thought and ran over to Panzela and Anthony. "Hold on to me," She said, grabbing both of them in a hug. I hope this works... becky thought as she ran and jumped up. She made her wings flap, hoping that she would be able to fly. She was, but she couldn't get very high. They're too heavy to fly with... She thought.

Akari laughed. "Pathetic..." She said and shot three more arrows at them.
