Becky couldn't help but giggle at that. I guess he didn't know... she thought. "Well, I'm not really sure..." She said. "I just sort of woke up and I'd transformed..."

 

"Wow... I thought I had issues..." Kairuto rubbed the back of his head.

"Be more supportive! Jeez." Rei sighed.


"Alright, alright. I was just trying to lighten the situation." Kairuto put an arm around Becky's shoulder. "Are you stuck?"

 

Panzela smiled slightly. She could see that Kairuto was struggling with how to help.

 

Becky looked up at him. "I don't know..." She said. "I think that if I maybe get rid of all my energy somehow, then I'll transform back..."

 

Kairuto straightened. "Your philosophy is interesting. However, I see a flaw." He said in a mock professor voice. Seriously, he continued, "What if something bad happens when you use up all your energy?"

 

Becky giggled. "That's what I'm starting to wonder..." She said, seriously.

 

"Hmmm..." Kairuto started to pace.

 

"How have you changed back before?" Panzela asked.

 

"I'm usually out of energy by the time I change back..." Becky said. She tried to think of something else she could do. Suddenly, she remembered that book she had found before she had started transforming. "I've got an idea..." Becky said and looked up at kairuto. "Do you remember that strange book that I found in the library not too long ago...?" She asked him. "Maybe that could help, somehow..."

 

"Is that where you learned how to transform from or something?" Panzela asked, puzzled.

 

Kairuto folded his arms. "Nuh uh. That's things dangerous."

 

"Well, I think it's what made me start transforming in the first place..." She said. "It may be dangerous, but maybe we can reverse the effects somehow..."

 

Kairuto sighed unhappily. "Fine."

 

Panzela nodded, "It looks like either way it's dangerous, it's just a choice of which you prefer."

 

I'd prefer neither. Kairuto thought, but he just put his hands in his pockets and kept quiet.

 

Panzela shrugged, "Your choice Becky."

 

Becky tried to think of which one might be safer. To say the truth, neither one was safe and neither one was even the slightest bit predictable as to what would happen. So, she just chose one randomly. "I say that I should maybe try the book..." She said.

 

"Alright then. Where is it?" Kairuto asked.

 

"It's still in my room..." She said. And probably overdue...

 

"Want us to go get it?" Kairuto asked, speaking of himself and Rei.
