BIC: Panzela smiled, for once this would come in handy, "Yeah, I can, and I can sign if it's easeir for you."

 

The boy shook his head. "You can if you want to..." He said through sign language. "But I'm okay if you just talk normally."

 

"Okay, well I'm more fluent speaking english, so lets stick to that." Panzela looked at him, "So, what's your name?"

 

"Anthony..." He said.

 

"Nice name. So, Anthony, why were you in their house? I don't think you live there, do you?" Panzela asked, calmly.

 

Anthony looked down. "Well... I was looking for my stone..." He said. "I couldn't find it and the kids at school all said that Kairuto had it..." He looked up at her. "I'm guessing that was probably a lie, hmm...?"

 

Panzela nodded, "Probably. We can ask him when he gets home though, kay. But what stone is this, it must have been important to go into their house when no one was home for."

 

"Well... if he had stolen it, then I figured he wouldn't give it back... So I couldn't think of anything else to do..." He looked down. "That stone is probably one of my favorite items... I found it when I went on vacation with my parents... It was by a river. It was the shiniest, smoothest rock I'd ever seen, so I kept it in my pocket. I never let go of it unless I was taking a shower or sleeping... It became my lucky stone... I just don't knowif Kairuto took it or not... It was probably just everybpdy playing a mean joke on me..." He looked up at Panzela. "Are you Kairuto's sister...?" He asked, tilting his head.

 

Panzela laughed, "No, I'm just a friend. Becky is his sister." she looked thoughfully down the path, "I don't think he stole it, partially because that doesn't sound like him and partially because I doubt he would have time, even if he would do that. I think that's them coming, do you want to ask them?"

 

He quickly looked over at the path. He stood up and shook his head nervously. "No... I don't think that they'd be too happy about me snooping around in their house..." He said. "Besides, I'm pretty sure he didn't do it, anyways..."

 

"Well, we don't have to tell them you actully went into their house. We could just say that you came by here looking for Kairuto to ask him. But if you really don't want to ask, it's your choice." she waved to Becky and Rei as they got closer.

Anthony thought for a second. "I don't know..." He said.

 

OOC: oops. *edits*

BIC: "Well, when they get here, if you want to ask, I'll translate for you. Kay?"

 

Anthony nods. "Okay..." He said.

Becky saw Panzela up ahead and waved. "Hey, Panzela..." She said as she walked up to them with Rei. She noticed Anthony. "Who's this...?" She asked politely.

 

"Hi Becky, hey Rei. This is Anthony."

Becky smiled. "Nice to meet you, Anthony..." She said and looked down at him.

Anthony smiled nervously. "Nice to meet you, too..." he said in sign language. He looked up at Panzela as if to ask her to translate for him.

 

Panzela smiled at him and then looked at Becky, "Anthony can't speak, so I'm going to translate for him. He said 'nice to meet you too.'"

 

Becky blinked, a little surprised. "Oh..." She said and then smiled. "Well you both seem to know sign language very well... where'd you learn?" She asked, now interested.

"From my grandfather..." Anthony said. "He had taken a class in college and decided to teach it to me when he found out that I couldn't speak..."

 

"From his grandfather, who learned in college. He taught it to him when he found out that Anthony couldn't talk." Panzela translated. "I learned from my brother." she explained, not going into the details of why.

 

"Oh..." Becky said, not really knowing how else to respond. She turned to Panzela. "Is he your cousin or something...?" She asked, seeing that they seemed to look somewhat similar.

Anthony looked up at Becky. So this is Kairuto's sister...? He thought and then looked over at Rei. But who's that...? He has wings...
