Will of Fire

Akari saw that she had just missed a cable car so she just waited for the next one, bored.

 

Dai looked behind her through the window. She's actually coming...? She thought when she saw Akari. Not wanting to think of her further, Dai just stared at the horizon as the cable car flattened out and came to a stop at the station near the school.

Kairuto got off with the rest of the crowd, some students and others adults. He met up with some of his friends and they started walking to school.

"So??" One of Kairuto's friends asked eagerly. "Are you gonna ask Dai-chan for her number today? You're the only one who hasn't!"

Kairuto tried not to blush and shook his head. "I think I'll wait."

"Boo!" His friends chorused. "Come on!" "Ha! He's gotten shy!" And other teases were said.

Kairuto just shrugged. "Fine. I'll ask her."

Dai got off the cable car and followed Kairuto and his group and the other students who took the cable car. I sure hope Wiz will be okay home alone today.

Wizard sat in the kitchen enjoying a bag of chocolate he found.

 

OOC- uh-oh... Wiz has chocolate XD

Akari got on the next cable car and headed towards the school.

Akito looked up as students had started to arrive at the school.

 

OOC: XD chocolate makes for hyperness! ;^^;

BIC: Dai noticed Aiko. She went over to him. "Hey."

Kairuto and his friends headed straight for homeroom so that they could write things on the blackboard before the sensei came.

OOC: immature boys! XP

Akito looked up and smiled. "Hey, Dai-chan," He said.

Akari soon arrived at the school. Well, well... I'm not late... She thought and walked into the school.

 

"Um... I heard you... joined with my father." Dai said cautiously. "... Why?"

Kairuto used his skills from Rei to unlock the door. He and his friends went inside and started searching for the chalk.

 

Akito just gave Dai an expressionless look and then he looked up at the sky. "Because there are people in your family that I wish to protect..." He said.

 

"Please tell me you don't mean Megumi..." Dai said. If another person wanted to protect the person she hated most, she'd go insane.

"Got it!" Kairuto pulled out a box of chalk from the bottom draw of the sensei's desk. He handed a stick to everyone and took one for himself. In large letters, he wrote: 'I iz your sensei and I iz stooped!'

All of Kairuto's friends laughed and then drew pictures to support his statement.

 

OOC- *facepalms* lol...

Akito laughed. "No... I'm not talking about Megumi..." He said.

 

Kairuto stepped back and admired their work. "That's awesome." He smirked. "I can't wait to see the look on his face!"

Dai half smiled. "Thanks..." The bell rang and she jumped a bit. "I guess we better get to class."

"Woah, crap!" Kairuto put the chalk away and he and his friends hurriedly got out of the classroom. Kairuto locked the door again and then stood against the wall as if they'd just been waiting there the whole time.

 

Akito stood up. "Yeah..." he said and smiled, walking towards the classroom.

Akari walked into the school and headed towards the classroom. she saw Kairuto and his friends and rolled her eyes. "If you did something, try not to make it so obvious..." She said.

 

Kairuto's friends snickered.

Kairuto played smooth. "Now why would we do anything? Just because we always do doesn't mean we did this time."

Dai followed Aiko. Even if he doesn't really care about Megumi, I can't trust him after what he did to Becky-chan.

 

OOC- I'm kind of bored... you know what that means! >D

Akari shook her head and laughed. "It's obvious that you did something because of your facial expressions..." She said, smirking.

 

OOC: *braces for impact*

BIC: Kairuto rolled his eyes. "You're just too much of a goody-goody." He knew that wasn't true, but to his friends, he had to keep a low profile.

There was a chorus of 'oohs' from Kairuto's friends.

 

"And you're too much of a smart-mouth to even notice that you'll probably get suspended if you get caught..." She remarked and smirked. "And you know d*mn well that I'm not a 'goody-goody'"

Becky's eyes open but now they're back to normal. Her stomach felt a bit queasy as she sat up. She blinked and looked at Panzela. Then her eyes widened when she saw what time it was. "Oh no! We need to get to school!" Becky said to Panzela and grabbed her by the wrist, running towards the school. She didn't even bother to ask her what had happened.

 

There were murmurs among Kairuto's friends.

"Oh really?" Kairuto raised an eyebrow. "I'd like to see you prove it."

"A challenge?"
"No! A threat!"
"Nuh, uh. They're just going at it." Kairuto's friends muttered.

 

Akari raised an eyebrow at him. "Oh really, now? Well, what do you propose I do to prove that...?" She asked, crossing her arms.

 

"Take the blame for what we did." Kairuto smirked.

"You're asking to be killed." Rei said.

"I'm just messing with her. This'll be interesting." Kairuto replied.

Kairuto's friends looked at each other and then waited for Akari's response.

 

Akari shrugged. "Fine..." She said and smirked.

 

"Score!" Kairuto's friends did a group hive-five.

Kairuto was about to say something but he saw the sensei coming and decided to play suck-up. "Good morning, sensei. How was your weekend?"

"Fine, thank you." The sensei responded. He unlocked the door and allowed the students to enter.

Kairuto smirked at Akari and then went inside to his usual seat, followed by his friends.
