Will of Fire

Becky walked upstairs and went into her room, shutting the door behind her. She then walked out onto the balcony, looking out at the horizon.

Akari looked up at the sky as she walked with Dai, watching the clouds. "It's a nice day today..." She said and smiled.

 

"After that brawl this morning, yeah." Dai said. "Rei-san is an incredible fighter."

Wizard nodded. "Kyuu, kyuu."

 

OOC: O.o... i'm confused, what is everyone doing?

 

Becky blinked in surprise as she saw something strange. "Huh...? What is that...?" She wondered and stared at it, leaning over the balcony. But she wasn't paying attention and she had leaned over too far. Becky let out a startled scream as she slipped, almost falling off of the balcony.

"Yeah... He's a tough one..." She said, remembering how she had seen him fighting Megumi.

OOC- Becky is out on her balcony, Kairuto and Rei are in his room, Akari is walking with Dai and Wizard, and I think Akito is still talking to Panzela O.o

 

"Yeah... Incredible..." Dai smiled.

BIC: Panzela bite the inside of her cheek thoughtfully, "Sorry if that's harsh, but right now, there really isn't time for indecision anyway."

 

"You're right..." Akito said. "That's why I'm going to choose a side... I wish I could avoid it but there are people I care about and want to protect..." He took a deep breath and turned away. He started walking but then stopped, turning to face Panzela again. "Panzela...? Could you please tell Becky... I'm sorry...?" he asked and then walked away silently. He headed towards the Hiwatari house.

Becky was now hanging off of the railing and she pulled herself back up, sighing in relief. "That was close..." She thought aloud and sat on the ground against the railing.

Akari smiled. It was obvious to her as well that she liked Rei.

 

Panzela nodded, biting her lip, "Yeah, I'll tell her, no promises on how she responds, though." she closed her eyes and sat in silence for awhile, "Idiot." she mummbled to herself as she stood up and walked to Becky's house to find her. "But he made is decision."

 

Dai blushed, embarrassed. "Um... But... I- I didn't mean... That's not-"

Wizard laughed. "Kyuu!"

 

Akari laughed. "It's okay... i already knew..." She said and smiled. "You know it's not good to hold in your feelings, though... you should talk to somebody about it..."

Becky got up and went back inside. She closed the balcony door behind her and walked over to her bed, falling backwards onto it and staring up at the ceiling. She always did this everytime there was something to think about.

Akito closed his eyes as he kept walking. That's fine... i can't let her reactions bother me anymore... I've picked a side and now I've got to stick with it... He thought and stopped right outside the Hiwatari house.

Panzela knocked on the door, hopping Becky would be okay to talk.

 

Dai shook her head. "I know that Dad would be pissed if he knew, so I'm not talking to anyone about it."

Wizard titled his head. "Kyuu?"

 

Becky heard a knock on the front door. "Coming!" She shouted and jumped up from her bed, running out of the room. She opened the front door and smiled. "Hey, Panzela..." she said.

"Yeah... That's probably true..." She said. "But maybe talk to somebody you trust who you know won't tell... Like Panzela. You two seem like good friends..." She said and smiled.

Akito knocked on the Hiwatari's front door.

 

Hiwatari sighed, got up from his desk, and answered the door. "What is it?"

"She knows..." Dai said. "And I don't think that talking about it will change anything."

 

"Hey Becky." Panzela returned the smile, "Mind if I come in... or do you want to walk?" she asked, keeping her voice light.

 

"Oh... um... Go ahead and come in..." Becky said and smiled. "Is there something you need to talk about...?"

"No... It may not... But it might help you feel better... You seem pretty down about it..." Akari said.

"I would like to ask for a job, sir..." Akito said to Hiwatari.

 

Panzela walked in, "Well, I was talking to Akito, and... well he's chosen his side..." she looked at Becky, trying to gadge how she would take it.

 

Becky tilted her head at Panzela. "And... which side did he choose...?" She asked, nervously.

 

"He's with the Hiwatari's family... Becky, he said to tell you he's sorry." Panzela's voice was steady but she felt awful for Becky.

 

Becky felt her stomach tighten up and her eyes widened as she stared at Panzela in disbelief. "H-He's with the Hiwatari's...?" She asked, biting her lip. "But why would he go with them...? Why would he-..." She stopped talking and looked down. What has he got to gain by helping the Hiwatari's...? She wondered.
