Will of Fire

Panzela nodded, although she was frowning, "I could probably say the same thing. I'm not a part of either family either, just a friend and a fired worker. Technically I could walk out, but somehow, I think we're both too connected to the people in the fights to do that. But that's just my opinoin, I hope you make yours before someone gets hurt." she gave him an understanding smile.

 

Akito gave a small sigh. "I just can't seem to figure out which family I care about more..." He said and looked down. "Although I'm well aware that whichever one I choose next I'm going to be stuck with them..."

Becky got up from the table and walked outside. She walked down the street and looked at the sky as she did.

Akari walked out of her bedroom to see Dai and she looked at Wizard. She was talking to that...? She thought but didn't comment about it. "Hello, Dai-chan..." she said and smirked.

 

"Can I be honest with you?" Panzela asked, resting her chin in her hands.

 

Akito shrugged. "Sure..." He said, not really understanding what she meant. "What's up?"

 

"I think you must not be thinking at all if this is such a dilemma for you." Panzela said, seriously.

 

Wizard hid in Dai's shirt.

"Hi.... What do you want?" Dai tried to sound normal but a tone of hate resonated in her words.

 

Akito blinked a bit in surprise. "Y-Yeah... I guess you're right..." He said.

Akari crossed her arms and smirked. "What...? I can't say hello to my sister every once in a while...?" She asked and gave her a sad look that made her seem like that comment had hurt her.

Silently, Becky walked through the park and thought about all that was going on. When she got tired, she sat underneath a tree and stared at the sky. Soon, she fell asleep under the tree.

 

"But you... and Megumi..." Dai put a hand to her head. "I'm sorry... I'm really confused. I can't remember much."

Wizard popped his head out. "Kyuu?"

 

Akari smiled. "It's alright..." She said, waving her hand in the air. "It's understandable..." Akari had noticed Dai was having memory problems so she decided that she may be able to use it to her advantage somehow... "Are you busy at the moment...?" Akari asked.

Becky suddenly woke up as something fell on her head. "Ow!" she said and rubbed her head, looking up at the tree. It had been an acorn, and a couple of squirrels were sitting there staring at her. She could tell they were laughing. "Stupid squirrels..." she muttered.

 

"Not really." Dai said. But she and Megumi are really close, aren't they?.... Wasn't she part of the reason that all this happened?.... Isn't she someone I hate?

Kairuto opened the door the Ayume house. "I'm home." He called out. Hm? I guess she's sleeping.

Becky sighed and closed her eyes, leaning back against the tree once more. Just ignore them and they'll go away... She thought.

"Well... How would you like to go do something together? To get your mind off of everything...?" She asked, plainly able to see that she needed a break.

 

Kairuto went to his room. "This day was waaay to long."

"It's only five o'clock." Rei said.

"I knew that..." Kairuto flopped onto his bed.

"I'd like that." Dai smiled.

Wizard wriggled out of Dai's shirt and moved to head. "Kyuu!" He stuck his tongue out at Akari.

"Wiz, be nice." Dai rolled her eyes.

 

Akari smiled at Dai, ignoring Wizard for the moment. "Alright... What would you like to do? You can pick anything you want..." she said.

Becky had once again fallen asleep under the tree.

 

What Dai really wanted was to find out what was going on. As far as she knew, there were her friends and they were fighting against Megumi, who she knew was once a part of her. But why were they fighting? How long had it been going? What had she done to help or hurt the situation? But instead of asking, she simply said, "How 'bout we just go for a walk?"

 

"Fine by me..." Akari said and smiled, heading for the front door.

 

"Kyuu!" Wizard had a tone of disappointment.

"Have a little trust, Wiz. She's my sister." Dai said, following Akari. Though... I don't fully trust her myself...

 

Akari smiled and opened the door for Dai to go through.

 

Wizard glared at Akari as Dai passed her.

Dai looked at the setting sun. "Wow... I love seeing the setting sun. The way the colors blend is so pretty."

 

"Yeah... Nature's one of the most beautiful things of this planet..." Akari said and smiled. "You might not want to look directly at the sun, though... It's bad for your eyes..."

Becky got up and walked back to the Ayume house. She opened the front door and walked in, taking off her shoes and setting them by the front door like she always did.

 

Dai laughed. "Right."

Wizard moved to Dai's shoulder.

Kairuto yawned.

"Tired?" Rei asked.

"No. I just yawned for the heck of it." Kairuto laughed.

"Of course." Rei laughed too.
