Will of Fire

Panzela dropped her finished picture into her bag and leaned back on the bench to close her eyes.

 

Becky turned to walk away. "Alright... I see..." she said, knowing exactly what he was thinking. "I understand... I guess I'll see you at school then..." she said and waved, not even looking at him as she walked away. I know exactly what he's thinking... He's thinking of going back to the Hiwatari's... She felt tears fill her eyes. Because he's in love with Akari...

Akito turned and walked the other way without a word.

Akari soon woke up. She yawned and rubbed her eyes as she sat up, scanning her room.

 

Panzela opened her eyes, hearing one of them walk past her. She saw Akito looking sad.Oh... well, that sucks, I was sure they'd work it out...

 

"This is so stupid..." Dai muttered as she walked into the kitchen. "I can only remember certain things and they're all of that b*tch Megumi... What am I supposed to do? I have no powers and I can't drag Wiz into this. Grandma said he'd fight to the death for me, but I don't want anyone to die on my account." She took a couple carrots out of the bottom draw in the fridge. "Wasn't I supposed to die?" She started walking back to her room.

"Kyuu??" Wizard wined. He jumped off the bed and ran in circles.

 

Akito sat in a branch on a tree in the park and looked at the sky.

Becky wasn't sure where to go, so she just decided to go home. I have some homework that I should probably go work on... She thought and walked back towards the Ayume house.

 

"Kyuu?! Kyuu!" Wizard got dizzy and ran into the door on accident.

Dai opened her door and looked down at Wizard. She couldn't help but smile. He was such a dork. She picked him up and gave him a piece of carrot.

"Kyuu!" Wizard said happily and munched on the carrot.

"Shh. I don't want Akari hearing you." Dai said.

 

Panzela looked up at the branch he was in, "You guys going to be okay?"

 

Akito was a bit startled by her and he accidentally fell out of the tree. "Yeah... I'm sure we'll be fine.." he said and laughed as he stood up.

Becky got back to the Ayume household and started working on her homework at the kitchen table. She always did it there because she thought her room was hard to concentrate in. She couldn't just lock herself up in a quiet place.

 

Panzela jumped a bit when he fell, "Sorry!" she paused, "I hope you'll be okay, both of you."

 

Wizard snatched another carrot from Dai and stuffed it in his mouth.

"Jeez... You're hungry." Dai sat on her bed, placing Wizard next to herself. Hm... Kairuto... Becky... Akari... Akito... Panzela... Rei... People I know but don't know.

Wizard looked at Dai. "Kyuu?" He said with his mouth full.

"It's nothing, Wiz." Dai assured. "I just want this all to be over soon."

Kairuto walked by the Ayume house.

"You aren't going in?" Rei asked.

"Nah... I don't want to bother Neesan. She's got stuff to do." Kairuto stuffed his hands in his pockets and kept walking, going nowhere in particular.

 

"It's alright..." Akito said and smiled. "I'm sure we'll be alright... I jus have a bit of thinkin' to do..." he said.

Ugh.... Reading sucks... Becky thought and laid her head on the table as she tried to think of the awnser to a problem.

 

"Yeah." Panzela bit her lip, "This whole thing is so complicated, huh? These two families."

 

Dai fed Wizard the rest of the carrot. "Come here. I want to show you the house. That way if you're home alone you can find your way around."

Wizard moved onto Dai's lap and then burrowed under her shirt so his head was sticking out near her neck. "Kyuu." He said proudly.

Dai folded her arms to support Wizard and left her room. "You know where Akari's room is. That room is off limits. Don't go in there unless it's a big emergency."

 

OOC: g2g for tonight, *sleepily looks at time* i need to make up for last night's lack of sleep. haha, cya guys tomorrow.

 

Dai walked by Akari's room, hoping she was still asleep and didn't hear her and Wizard. "Down this way leads to the back of the house. That's where Akari held Becky. It's another place you shouldn''t go unless it's an emergency."

"Kyuu, kyuu." Wizard said like 'yeah yeah.' He looked around, hoping to find some food.

 

Becky wrote down the awnser to the problem and then put her pencil down, staring at the sheet blankly. I can't concentrate anymore... She thought.

"Yeah... From what I see there's too many secrets being kept..." He said and looked at her. "Well, now that you don't work for the Hiwatari's anymore... What are you going to do?" he asked.

Akari heard Dai's voice outside of her door. Who could she be talking to...? She thought and stood up from the bed.

 

"Help the people doing the right thing, you know, fighting Megumi and such." Panzela laughed almost sadly, "I've kind of decided I can't escape this sort of family fight so I'll stay here and fight with people I care for. What about you?"

 

Akito looked down. "I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet..." he said. "There seem to be people on both sides I care about, but I should probably just stay out of it... I have no part in this fight..." He replied, looking up at the sky.

 

Panzela looked at him not showing any opinion for the moment, "Why do you say you have no part in it?"

 

"Well... because it's really none of my business what goes on between those two families," he said. "I'm apart of neither family and so there's not really a reason to fight for either side..." He looked at Panzela. "Right now I just don't know how I feel about the whole thing..."
