Will of Fire

Becky stopped, standing right in front of the museum. Maybe it's still there... she thought and walked in, looking around as she headed towards the back of the building.

Akito's eyes widened. "The museum... of course..." he muttered under his breath. "I know where she's going..." He instantely turned around and ran out of the house, making sure that Panzela was following.

 

Panzela ran after him, soon catching up. "What is it she's after?" she asked.

 

"I'll tell you later..." he said, out of breath as he ran as fast as he could.

Becky walked over to the indian exhibit and felt around under the stand that had the description about the exhibit. She stopped when her fingers touched somthing that was taped to it. She pulled it off and stuck it in her pocket, walking back out.

 

"Like I'll help you do that." Rei let a blast of darkness, breaking the tie on his hands and knocking everyone backwards. "Sorry, partner."

"It's okay." Kairuto winced. "Do what you have to."

Rei held Hiwatari by his neck with a tendril of darkness. He locked eyes with Megumi. "Let's chat."

Megumi drew two feathers.

"Not that kind of chatting." Rei tightened his grip on Hiwatari.

Megumi smirked. "Negotiations?"

"Bingo." Rei smirked right back at her.

 

Becky walked back out of the museum but was stopped out front by Akito.

"Becky, wait..." he said and ran up to her, embracing her suddenly in a tight hug. "Don't run away anymore... please..."

Becky looked up at Akito and there were tears running down her cheeks. You could tell that she was upset.

Akito let go of the hug and placed both of his hand firmly on her shoulders. "Becky... give me the box... I don't want you hurting yourself anymore..." he said.

Becky silently handed him the box that she had taken from under the indian exhibit.

 

"I don't like negotiations unless I'm the one negotiating." Megumi threw the two feathers at Rei.

Rei had to release Hiwatari to dodge the feathers. Damn... This is gonna get hard.

 

Akito smiled and put the box in his jacket pocket. Then he grabbed Becky's hands. "Will you please forgive me...?" he asked.

Becky looked down. "I can't... you're a traitor... you were working with the Hiwatari family..." she said, tears falling gently down her cheeks.

Akito wiped her tears away. "I was trying to protect you..." he said. "They would've killed you on the spot if I didn't cooperate..." he looked down, ashamed.

"So you were protecting me... but you were willing to hurt my family?!" she asked. "What made you think that I would want to be protected, anyways? I would've rather died than to have let them get what they wanted!" She looked up at him. "And now they have Rei and Kairuto... And we have no way of helping them!" She clenched her fists, angered.

Akito took a step back from her. "But we can help them..." Akito said. "Although it will take some courage from you..." Becky nodded as Akito explained the plan to her.

"Alright... i can do that..." she said.

Akari crossed her arms and watched Megumi and Rei.

 

Rei was panting after a while of fighting. He hadn't noticed that Hiwatari had left. His eyes were locked on Megumi, who tired as well. He risked a glance around. Most of the windows were shattered and the floor had small craters in it.

Megumi flew forward and slammed Rei into the wall. "Pay attention to you enemy." Her face was close to his. "Don't you feel bad? Your poor little Tamer is hurting from you magic."

"You don't know anything about Kairuto!" Rei kneed Megumi in the stomach and pushed her backwards. She's right though.... "You okay, buddy?"

"Yeah... Keep going..." Kairuto said.

 

Akito saw that the Hiwatari's front door was wide open so he just walked in. He walked into the room that Rei and Kairuto were fighting in, Becky slung over his shoulder. She appeared to be unconcious.

Akari saw Akito and blinked, walking over to him. "What's this...? I though you liked Becky-chan..." she said, crossing her arms and staring at him suspiciously.

"I realized that you were right..." he said and looked down. "She had only been using me... she said so herself..."

 

Rei looked over at Becky and Akito. "I knew I shouldn't have trusted you!"

Megumi held Rei's hands behind his back when he tried to go after Akito. "Tsk tsk. Seems there's been a bit of confusion. Akari-chan, treat our guest properly." She said, speaking of Becky.

Rei grit his teeth. That b*stard!

 

"Sure thing," Akari said to Megumi and took Becky from Akito. She carried Becky into another room and Akito followed.

 

"Now then, where were we?" Megumi let Rei go.

"Right here!" Rei punched Megumi in the face. "You've got me! Why her too?!"

"It's more fun that way." Megumi wiped the blood away from her mouth.

"I'll give you fun!" Rei knocked Megumi into the air, flew up under her, and kicked her into the ceiling.

 

Akito sighed. I hope she's ready for this... he thought, watching as Akari took Becky into a cell and put chains on her wrists and ankles.

"We'll keep her here until we can figure out what to do with her... she may prove of use to us..." Akari said, smirking. "Don't look so down... you've done well..." She walked back out of the room.

Akito glanced at Becky one last time before following Akari.

 

Megumi recovered from the barrage and plunged Rei to the ground, pinning his arms with her wings. Her hands were next to his side and her face was close to his. "That was entertaining."

Rei turned his face away from Megumi. He could feel blood on his arms from Megumi's sharp feathers. "Are you done yet?"

"You wish." Megumi stood, placing her foot on Rei's stomach to keep him on the ground.

recap: Akito caught Becky when she was running out of the museum and she had gotten a bow from the Indian exhibit. Akito made her give him the box and he put it in his pocket (the contents have not been revealed) And then he tried to get Becky to forgive him. Becky refused and said it was his fault that Rei was in danger, but then Akito told her a plan and she agreed to do it. The next thing that happened was that he showed up at the Hiwatari's house with Becky slung over his shoulder, unconcious. Rei got really angry at Akito and he's kind of getting his butt kicked by Megumi at the same time XD Megumi told Akari to "take care of their guest" so Akari took Becky down to a cell like where she was when she had been captured before and Akito simpily followed.

Becky peeked her eyes open when she heard then walk away and then looked around, scanning her surroundings. Alright... the same place as before... she thought.

Akari stopped walking and turned to Akito. "All right... the game's over..." she said. "What are you really doing here...?" she asked.

Akito glared at her. I already told you!" he said and looked down sadly. "Becky confessed... she told me that she had been using me... I wanted to come and apologize for thinking you lied... and I thought that Becky might prove useful to you..." He looked up again. "And... I was wondering if I could help you defeat the Black Wings if you still need any help..." he said.

and dang destiny star, that was deep, i was expecting a short few word what's happenign right now thingy. ^^ thanks. and sorry again, i read it all but i guess i'm not very 'in the zone' today, it all slipped right past me. :)

BIC: Panzela walked to the Hiwatari's house, not very much in a hurry because she didn't know what she was going to do. She snuck around the back of the house and down to the cell, feeling the air for Becky to lead her. She hid behind a wall and waited.

Becky looked up at the window that was near her. "Panzela...? You there...?" she asked.
